Poetry is an important part of my earth-conversed offerings,
As I believe it is a sacred way to help us connect with ourselves,
Each other and the earth that is our home.
I invite you to sit in contemplation with this poem,
Originally made for Valentines,
Called For You My Love.
Who are you,
If not my world?
I breathe out and you breathe in and our hearts beat at the same pace.
Isn't my sole purpose here just to love you unashamedly,
Boldly,
Unconditionally?
To see you fresh every day,
As if for the first time,
Regardless of how long we've been together?
I know I hurt you with my ignorance and I'm humbled how you hold me in the darkness as we spin around in the grit and the gold,
And how you never shy away from any feeling or thought I may have.
And even if,
Sometimes,
I pull away,
Not quite believing in the magic we can co-create,
I will not abandon you.
I will not abandon us.
You are my light,
My shadow,
A mirror to my soul.
You are my one,
True love,
Dear earth.
