Welcome to this guided meditation to help you connect with your higher self.

Often when we are navigating life,

We are seeking to connect with our higher self,

Our inner knowing.

And it could be hard to sift through all the noise,

The overthinking,

The distractions.

It can be difficult sometimes to really pause and tune in and connect with our deeper knowing,

Our highest self,

That inner truth and intuition.

So this guided visualization will help you calm the mind and connect with that deeper knowing,

Help you connect with your intuition and your higher self.

To begin,

I invite you to relax into the most comfortable position available to you right now.

It should be a relaxed yet alert position.

You could be sitting upright in a chair or perhaps you prefer to sit on a cushion on the floor.

Your back should be as straight as you can comfortably sit without feeling forced or tense.

You can relax your palms on your lap or on your thighs.

As you settle into this relaxed position,

I invite you to gently close your eyes.

If you prefer to keep your eyes open,

I invite you to soften and relax your gaze,

Maybe looking at it somewhere on the floor.

Take a moment now and notice your breathing.

No need to fix or change the breath,

Just tune in and notice.

I invite you now to begin slowing your breath just a bit,

Taking a nice gentle inhale and then a nice slow exhale.

Let's repeat that a few times.

A nice gentle inhale and exhale.

Again,

Inhale and exhale.

I invite you now to return to your natural rhythm of breath.

Now I invite you to imagine that you are standing in a lush beautiful forest.

You take some time to just stand there and look around and take in the beauty of the scene around you.

You see tall trees,

A lush green forest floor,

You hear birds singing,

And leaves gently rustling in the breeze.

As you continue to look around,

You begin to notice that the forest floor is in a with hills stretching up high on both sides.

You also see that there is a stream gently flowing to your left.

You stand there and watch it for a few moments,

Mesmerized by the flowing water and the gentle ripples as the water passes over rocks.

After a few moments,

You turn and notice that up ahead there is a pool of water where the stream begins,

And it is fed by a large waterfall.

You also notice that along the right side of the stream and the waterfall,

There is a stone staircase built into the hill.

You're curious where it leads and decide to move toward it.

As you reach the stairs,

You feel drawn to what's up above,

And you decide to climb the steps.

You ascend the staircase one step at a time,

Slowly feeling each step beneath your feet.

You feel the gentle mist from the waterfall,

And you listen to the steady roar of the water falling to the stream below.

As you climb higher and higher,

You feel a warm presence.

You feel it getting closer to you,

And you feel drawn to this presence and want to keep climbing the stairs to reach the top.

As you reach the top of the staircase,

You come to a small path leading behind the waterfall.

You follow the path,

Walking slowly and intentionally,

Feeling the power of the waterfall as you pass behind it,

And you realize you're about to enter a cave.

As you enter the cave,

You see someone sitting cross-legged on the cave floor,

Looking peaceful and at ease,

And you intuitively know that this is your higher self.

This was the presence you felt,

Beckoning you to climb the stairs.

I invite you to imagine entering the cave and slowly walking to sit next to your higher self.

Visualize sitting next to your higher self and feeling a sense of gratitude for this opportunity.

You feel love and acceptance.

I invite you now to ask your higher self a question.

Perhaps you want guidance on a decision,

Clarity about an issue,

Or a more general knowing about what comes next.

Bring your question to mind,

And when you're ready,

Ask your higher self.

Don't overthink it,

And don't project an answer.

Just ask the question and wait for the answer.

This answer may come as a word,

A phrase,

An image,

Or a feeling.

Or you may not receive the answer right now,

And that's okay.

Trust that an answer will be revealed.

I'll give you a few moments to ask your question and wait for an answer.

I invite you now to express gratitude for the answer,

Knowing that even if it wasn't revealed just yet,

It will come to you.

Thank your higher self and express love.

Then when you're ready,

Visualize slowly standing and beginning to make your way out of the cave.

As you exit the cave,

Slowly begin to walk back toward the staircase and then begin your descent back down to the valley floor.

Taking each step down,

Feeling a sense of peace and resolve,

Knowing that you've received clarity from your higher self.

Once you reach the valley floor,

I invite you to visualize yourself sitting along the banks of the stream,

Continuing to feel easy and gratitude.

You feel confident in your inner knowing and at peace with the answer.

I invite you now to seal this meditation with a few deep breaths,

Taking a nice gentle deep inhale and exhale.

Let's do that again.

A nice deep inhale,

Holding at the top and exhale.

One last time,

A nice inhale and exhale.

Now I invite you to slowly bring movement back into your body and begin to bring awareness back to the room around you.

Maybe bringing a gentle wiggle to your fingers or toes or a nice easy shoulder roll.

Then slowly open your eyes if they were closed or bring your gaze and awareness back to the room around you if they were kept open.

Thank you for taking the time to nourish yourself with this meditation and for practicing with me.

May you feel safe,

May you feel peace,

May you feel joy,

May you feel loved.
