Hello,

And welcome to a meditation for confident communication.

This is Dr.

Kelly Waltman,

And I'm honored that you have joined me in this visualization and meditation practice.

You've likely heard about athletes visualizing success prior to competition,

And perhaps you've even done this yourself.

You visualize the scenario step by step and mentally prepare yourself for a successful outcome.

This lesson and meditation draws upon this practice,

But the application is for a conversation or perhaps a presentation that you need to give.

There are many benefits to the practice of visualizing outcomes,

From the advantage of mental rehearsal,

The boost of confidence you get from having that mental practice,

To the power of manifestation and manifesting positive outcomes.

So in this meditation,

We are going to draw upon the power of visualization to calm and prepare the mind for the communication that you need to have.

I'll lead you through a guided visualization and meditation,

And then give you two minutes to meditate on your own.

After the two minutes is up,

I'll ring a bell,

And we'll then close out the meditation together.

To begin,

Relax into the most comfortable position available to you right now.

Now,

If you are comfortable doing so,

Gently close your eyes.

Now let's take a few moments to focus on our breathing.

Breathe in as slowly and deeply as you can.

If you're able,

Hold your breath for a count of four.

Three,

Two,

One.

Now exhale completely.

Pause.

And then inhale deeply and slowly again.

Hold for a count of four,

Three,

Two,

One.

And now exhale completely.

Repeat this cycle of breathing two more times.

If it's too much,

Breathe at your own pace,

But keep your focus and intention on your breath.

Focus on slow,

Deep inhale and exhale.

Good.

Now give one more deep inhale.

Pause for a count of three,

Two,

One,

And exhale.

Now relax into your normal,

Easy rhythm of breathing.

And then force,

Just relax into a nice,

Slow,

Easy rhythm.

Very nice.

Now I want you to visualize the person or persons that you'll be speaking with.

Bring their image into your mind's eye.

Or if you need to give a presentation,

Picture the audience.

But picture the people,

Picture the room you'll be in.

Now envision yourself speaking.

See yourself there in that room.

You are calm and you are confident.

You feel completely at peace and you feel fully empowered.

You feel prepared and the right words and energy flow from you effortlessly.

You have distinct clarity on what to say and you feel confident in your words.

The people you are speaking to and speaking with,

They're receptive to what you're saying.

You feel weightless and free and you are delighted with how well the conversation is going.

Everything is coming together expertly.

Continue to visualize yourself in this space,

Feeling confident and at ease.

After two minutes,

A chime will ring and we'll close out the meditation together with a prayer.

You know the situation.

You you you you Spirit guides of the highest truth and compassion Thank you for guiding this communication.

Thank you for wisdom and peace Thank you for clarity and confidence Thank you for a receptive audience and an outcome that is of the highest good for all When you are ready gently open your eyes and return to the space you are in right now.

I encourage you to use this practice whenever you need a boost of confidence or a sense of calm leading into a conversation or presentation and if you don't have time to do the full meditation take just one to two minutes to yourself slow your breathing and visualize that success successful outcome.
