Welcome.
This is Dorothy Ratusni.
In this meditation,
Listen to the wisdom of your heart.
I'm showing you how to go within for answers,
For knowledge,
For your truth,
All of which is your way of discerning and knowing what is right and best for you in any given moment.
Allow yourself a comfortable posture and time to just be in stillness,
Undisturbed.
Begin with closing your eyes.
Find your breath and follow the natural inhalation and exhalation.
Place your awareness for a moment on your belly,
Your sacral chakra,
And to feel,
Simply feel and notice the movement in your belly as you breathe in and as you exhale.
For many of us,
We refer to our inner knowing as our gut instinct.
In this area of your belly,
Notice any sensations.
We receive many messages and signs in this area of our body.
It's important to know how the different pieces of information that we receive are experienced,
To know whether they are what allows us to trust this knowing without questioning it and to have better sense of knowing what our gut intuition is communicating to us.
As you breathe,
Bring awareness as you direct your breath into your belly.
As you breathe in,
Direct the energy of breath into the sacral chakra,
Your lower belly,
And simply feel,
Notice whatever your experience is.
As you are breathing calmly,
Learn to know the feeling associated with calm,
Inner peace,
Contentment in the lower belly area of your body.
We can do this best by focusing on the belly as we breathe with awareness,
Being present to whatever our experience is.
Bring your awareness to your heart center,
The area between your chest.
As you breathe deliberately,
Feel the sensations here.
Perhaps you witness the gentle rising and falling as the chest moves with your inhalation and exhalation.
Allow for some deeper breaths now.
And to feel the energy of your heart.
You can,
But it isn't necessary to think of your heart as the physical organ so much as the quality of energy,
The non-physical aspects of it,
The ability of your heart to be a sensory organ,
To provide truth and wisdom.
Allow yourself as you breathe to feel the energy in your heart area.
What is it now?
It is the energy of your heart.
It is the energy of your heart.
It is the energy of your heart.
As you focus on this region,
Ask yourself a question,
A question that you believe you will easily have an answer for and ask it now.
Direct the question into your heart center and then allow yourself to be in stillness with breath as you sense,
Feel,
And experience the knowing of the answer that you receive.
Just continue to focus on your heart.
Sometimes our answers will be spontaneous.
Instant.
And on other occasions we will continue to focus,
To breathe,
To be attentive to our heart and to the sensations that we feel.
If you have an answer,
You may ask another question of your heart center.
Be specific.
Be willing to hear the answer,
Whatever it may be.
We practice listening to the wisdom of our heart for more simple questions.
We practice to become skilled at quietening our mind,
Allowing the wisdom of our heart to come forward,
To be what we can discern and understand easily.
So it's something that you will likely practice often and certainly you may ask the bigger questions of your life,
Preferably whilst in meditation where you can be calm and centered as you hear and sense your answers.
Use this often,
Not only as a meditation but as a way of living your life.
Check in with the energy of your heart and then be willing to follow,
To listen,
To obey,
Knowing that the energy of your heart is truth and as you follow it,
You will always be doing and knowing and experiencing what is right and best for you.
So well done.
Please practice.
Let your confidence of this heart grow.
Namaste.
