This specific Hand Mudra, the shakti mudra, is used to help with sleep insomnia. Learn and practice this hand mudra seated comfortably on your cozy bed before you lie down. Set-up: 1. Use both hands for this hand mudra 2. Curl the thumbs into the palms of the hands 3. Curl the ring and middle fingers over the thumbs. 4. Extending the pinkie and right fingers and bringing the tips the fingers to touch on each hand. 5. Bring the hands down where they can rest while you hold the Hand Mudra.. 7.Make sure you hold the hand mudra gently and check that the rest of your body (especially your shoulders and mouth) are relaxed too 8. Continue holding this hand mudra and rest in your bed if you’d like. Gradually slow down your breathing and give yourself the permission to enjoy the softness of your bed, the gentle flow of your breath. Resting deeper and deeper as you hold the hand mudra. It is recommended to practice this Hand Mudra daily for up to 15 mins. for best results.
