Welcome to your heart chakra meditation.
Find your comfortable posture,
Seated tall,
Resting long on your back.
Align your spine,
Relax your shoulders,
Open your chest.
Take a deep breath in,
Feel the expansion in your heart chest area,
And on your exhale close your eyes.
Place both hands on top of your heart.
At the heart,
The center of the chest is where the fourth chakra,
The heart chakra lives.
In Sanskrit it's known as the anahata,
Which translates to the whole,
The unstruck,
The unbroken,
Which is referring to the heartbeat,
The vibration,
The pulse.
The heart is the center of our being.
It's all about love,
Peace,
Compassion,
Loving relationships with others and most importantly ourselves.
Mentally it has to do with our ideas and our attitudes of our worthiness and forgiveness.
It's our center of joy.
When our heart chakra is balanced,
We are able to follow our heart.
We are open and willing to love deeply and be loved deeply.
We're balanced in how we give and how we receive.
And we can feel compassion,
A deep sense of peace and well-being.
Feel your hands as they rest on top of your heart.
Your heart chakra has to do with skin and touch.
As you feel your hands resting there on your heart,
Bring into your mind's eye the color green.
Visualize a green energy at the center of your heart.
Feel it glow as you breathe in and out.
The mantra for the heart is YAM.
YAM.
Some people like to pronounce it Yum.
So choose which way you'd like to pronounce it.
And repeat to yourself YAM 12 times on your own.
Continue to repeat the mantra.
Feel a sense and energy of green light at your heart center.
And as you sit meditating here with the heart chakra,
Reflect on how the heart chakra touches you both physically and emotionally.
Breathing here the gentle,
Gentle heart.
Let go of the mantra.
Start to deepen your breath.
Notice any deeper connection you might feel with your heart chakra.
A warmth,
A tenderness,
A balance deep within your heart.
Thank you so much for taking time to meditate with me and have a peaceful,
Loving rest of your day.
Namaste.
