As I let go,

As I return to the very center of my being,

To the space of no space,

Sensing into my body,

My feet first,

As they hold that aliveness that I feel spreading upward,

I know I can spread that feeling further,

Melt into my own pulse.

My legs are next,

Strong like tree trunks,

Grounded in the rhythm of the feet.

I let go into their mass,

Their muscle mass.

I know I can spread further,

Melt into the feeling of my own pulse.

I am seeking the landscape of my pelvis,

The connectedness to the beat of the feet.

And yet,

There,

The spaciousness is another journey of luminescence,

As I sense into the distance from one hip to the other.

It is the center,

The hips is what balances me,

What holds together the top and the bottom of my being.

I sense my heart beating into my stomach,

Feel the rhythm throughout my mid-body.

Somehow,

Even my liver seems spacious and reverberates gently that continuous eclectic beat,

The rhythm of being.

My arms surge out,

My shoulders lighten,

Ice turns to water.

Water to fog.

My worries are lifted off.

I feel my arms,

Light as feathers,

Rise.

The space between my shoulders and my hands,

Speaking its own language,

Usually that of action,

Usually that of pouring out,

Is now receiving the heartbeat.

I feel my hands,

Softening,

Opening like flowers,

The pulse at the center of their palms,

Moving out to the fingertips.

I look out and see in front of me the stars,

The myriad of possibilities,

The floating by of time,

The river that never ends.

The currents taking me toward who I already am,

Who I have always been.

I listen to that inner stillness,

Let it wrap its arms around me,

As I let go into that heartbeat of the stars,

The never-ending flow,

The light encountering the light,

Unexpected.

I float,

Upward,

Downward,

In a sea of breathing that can hold me,

That can be a place to reunite with myself.

My whole being pulses to that rhythm.

My whole being is gripped.

A force that brings out the very currents of the lower rhythmic being of desire,

Aligned perfectly with that sea,

That flow of embodied being,

And I succumb to total wholeness.
