Hello and welcome to this guided meditation for gratitude.
My name is Donovan and first and foremost I would like to express my own gratitude for selecting me as your guide today.
Now first we're going to get comfortable so sit down,
Relax,
Or lay down,
Whether it be on the floor or on your bed,
In a chair,
Doesn't matter,
Sit wherever is most comfortable for you.
Now once we have done this,
Close your eyes,
Put your hands out and welcome and ready to receive gratitude,
To feel gratitude deep in your heart and within your soul.
Now let's take a deep breath in and out.
Deep breath in and out.
I want you to keep breathing like this for a moment now.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in through the heart and out through the heart.
Let that new vitalizing energy flow in and out through your heart.
Now as we continue to breathe deeply,
Let's focus on things that we can be grateful for,
Whether it be a new day,
Our house,
Our car,
People,
Places,
Things,
Anything.
Let's think of one thing at first that you are grateful for in this moment.
Focus on that.
Feel that feeling of gratitude.
Now as you think of this thing,
You are more than welcome to think of more,
As many as you'd like.
What I want you to do now as we continue to breathe is take a deep breath in,
Take a deep breath in full of gratitude.
Three,
Two.
Taking another deep breath of gratitude.
And as we breathe out,
Get rid of all and all negative energy that does not serve us.
Continue to breathe in gratitude.
Continue to think of the things that you are grateful for.
Think of the things about these things that make you grateful for them.
If it's a person,
Maybe your spouse,
Maybe you're grateful for something they do for you.
Or if it's your vehicle,
Maybe you're grateful that it gets you to and from work,
Or to and from places,
To activities,
Things you do that you enjoy.
And as you think of those things,
You can be grateful for them as well,
For the opportunity to be able to live an abundant life with opportunity and events and joy and fun.
As we feel gratitude for these things we are grateful for,
And now that we have set our intention on gratitude,
Just sit here,
Mindfully observe your thoughts and the things you are grateful for.
If you stray,
That's okay.
It's natural to get lost in thought.
Just bring yourself back and give yourself a pat on the back for it.
Continue to breathe in gratitude.
Continue to feel gratitude for all the things in life you are grateful for.
And I'll let you have had a moment of silence.
Now that you have had a moment to contemplate all that you are grateful for,
You are now filled with gratitude from your head to your toes,
In your heart and in your soul.
Take a moment to take another deep breath of gratitude and feel it coursing through your veins.
And now that we have welcomed gratitude into our very being,
We will now say some affirmations to affirm this gratitude even more.
I will leave a space in between each affirmation and you may say it out loud or in your head,
Whichever you please.
I am gratitude.
I am grateful to be alive,
Well and breathing.
I am grateful for every opportunity the universe has and will present to me.
I am grateful for each and every day and every new moment they bring.
I am grateful for the abundance the universe provides for me.
I am grateful for the people in my life.
I am grateful for all of my experiences for they have made me who I am today.
I am grateful for everything that I have and recognize the abundance of it all.
I always find things to be grateful for even if times are hard.
I am whole and complete.
I am gratitude.
Now that we have said our affirmations and welcomed gratitude into our lives,
Our day and ourselves,
I would like to remind you that if anything negative,
Thoughts,
Emotions,
If any of that pops up,
We don't have to give it control.
We don't have to give it power.
We can simply look at it and give it love and gratitude and think,
How does this serve me?
Where is this coming from and what does it have to teach me?
Simply look at it with gratitude and take back your power.
This is not a decay hill wishing you a day full of gratitude,
Love and abundance.
Namaste.
