Being positive is hard when you're feeling your emotions, but we CAN change our thoughts and be greater than how we feel. Our minds are powerful. When we quiet down the thoughts that we do not want and that no longer serve us, we make space for positive ones, and positive thoughts create positive energy.

Welcome to this meditation on letting go of negativity.

Sit comfortably with your spine straight and relax your shoulders.

Gently close your eyes.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in with gratitude for the freshness of the air that is nourishing your body and giving you life.

As you breathe out,

Picture the negative energy inside of you leaving your body with the breath.

Let it go.

Negative thoughts have a low frequency energy behind them and they trigger a negative emotion.

The negative emotion will trigger more negative thoughts and this cycle will keep you feeling trapped in a hole filled with negative energy.

It is important to know that you are not trapped.

Our minds are powerful and you have the choice to change your energy by changing the way you think and you feel.

It is important to know that the feeling of negativity is just simply that,

A feeling.

It is fleeting.

It is not welcome here to stay and we can let it go.

Emotions are emotions and emotions are energy in motion.

They can visit us,

We can ride the wave and we can let them pass.

Honor them as they arise but then let them go.

Everything is energy.

Everything is guaranteed to be moving,

Changing,

Growing and vibrating at a frequency.

As a spiritual being,

You can stay in the vibration of whatever energy you choose.

So choose wisely.

Choose what serves you and what serves the greater good.

Choose what you'd like to see others living in.

Choose positivity and joy for yourself.

Choose laughter and love.

These energies feel like high frequencies.

They consist of positive thoughts and positive thoughts trigger positive feelings.

Your state of being will be lifted to a higher frequency once you choose these positive thoughts.

You can stay here and you can enjoy your life on this frequency.

We have no time for negative energy.

It depletes us.

It empties us.

And it's not required.

Be proud of who you are,

How far you've come and celebrate your willingness to better yourself on a daily basis.

Be proud that you are doing the best you can.

Be proud that you are learning new coping skills.

You are open to listening to suggestions and you are loving yourself enough to sit here and vibrate higher.

Be kind and compassionate to yourself.

All starts with you.

So as you breathe in throughout the day,

Choose to breathe in self-love.

Choose to breathe in kindness.

Choose to breathe in an enjoyment and celebration of life.

Be grateful for this life,

Not just for good things you have,

But simply the essence of being alive and able to enjoy just being.

Enjoy your breath.

Enjoy the silence.

Enjoy the joy and comfort you receive when you feel this relaxation.

Breathe in gratitude for this moment and the serenity that it brings you.

Breathe out any insecurities.

Breathe out any judgments.

Relax.

You deserve it.

Make a commitment to yourself to stay in a peaceful,

Positive,

High frequency energy today.

Positivity and joy is your birthright.

You've worked hard in this life.

You deserve to enjoy it.

If a negative thought comes along,

Acknowledge it and let it go.

Say to yourself,

Not today.

We're staying on high vibrations only today.

Give yourself the gift of gratitude for the moment you recognize this and that you are able to change your thoughts.

Change your thoughts and you can change your life.

Take one more slow,

Deep breath in,

Thanking yourself for taking this time.

When you are ready,

A gentle smile to form upon your face and then you can open your eyes.
