Welcome to this relaxing meditation session focusing on gratitude.
Place yourself into a very comfortable seated position either on a chair or on the floor.
Sit so you are completely at ease and pain free for the duration of this session.
Take your time getting comfortable and when you are ready,
Elongate your spine and try to sit a little taller,
Opening up your chest.
Feel your long beautiful neck.
Sit up nice and tall.
Focus on your shoulders for a moment and making sure they are relaxed and comfortable.
When you feel relaxed,
Gently close your eyes and breathe in deeply.
Notice your arms laying peacefully by your sides,
Heavy and relaxed.
In this present moment,
There are no worries and you are safe.
You are worthy of taking this time for yourself.
So enjoy this moment.
Take some deep breaths in through your nose,
Noticing the cool sensation of air in your nostrils and exhale out of your mouth,
Appreciating this natural process.
Begin to feel a deep sense of gratitude about all things in your life.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
You may feel grateful for something you have.
So bring your mind to these objects that you are grateful for,
Such as your house,
Your bed,
Your shower.
Breathe deeply into these thoughts and imagine these things.
As you exhale,
Whisper to yourself,
Thank you.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Express gratitude for the people in your life.
Allow these people and possibly even animals to rise in your mind.
See them clearly and breathe deeply into your imagination.
Perhaps you can even hear how they sound.
As you breathe out,
Whisper to yourself,
Thank you.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Become grateful for yourself,
For your health,
Your able body,
Your wisdom,
Your kindness.
Be grateful for the times you stood up for yourself or for someone else that you love.
Be grateful for your ability to love others.
Breathe in deeply and imagine you can give yourself a big hug and whisper,
Thank you.
Breathe in and out,
Expressing gratitude for the smallest things in life.
Whatever small things pop into your mind right now,
Be grateful for them.
Breathe in again,
Feeling the importance of these little things.
And exhale,
Whispering to yourself,
Thank you.
Take a nice breath in and be grateful for your breath,
Bringing you life.
A natural process that your body just knows how to do every moment of every day without you having to think about it.
Be thankful for your body,
Bringing you places,
Exercising and helping you to feel healthy,
Giving you all five senses to experience this world.
As you let your breath fall away,
When you exhale,
Feel your body sinking deeper into relaxation.
Now take some time to focus on the world around you and feel even more gratitude.
Think about the things you are grateful for.
Feel this grateful feeling expand and grow within you.
Really feel yourself as you are in this moment naturally.
Realize you can live in the present moment by being connected to gratitude.
Feel yourself and your body as you are,
Without expectations.
Feel the acceptance of yourself and be thankful for who you are and derive pleasure from all of your senses.
The fact is we can truly enjoy the things that we have and we don't need anything else.
We already have everything we need to make the most of our time here on earth.
Be grateful for your existence because you are here,
You are present and you are everything that the world needs right now.
Bring into your mind's eye all of that which swells your heart with love.
When is the last time you felt goosebumps over a beautiful moment of time?
Imagine this moment.
Focus on sounds,
Sights,
Smells and feelings of this moment.
Feel that tangle on your skin that is the uncontrollable response to being in the presence of beauty and all of the awareness of love.
Allow yourself to reside in this moment of love for the next three deep breaths.
In and out,
In and out,
In and out.
You may notice you are smiling,
Feeling a greater vibration of energy than you were before.
Let's stay here and enjoy this.
Carry this energy into your day.
Breathe in and feel the beauty of everything that is growing inside of you right now.
Breathe out and allow these things to grow so large that they force out anything that takes your energy and your peace.
Breathe out anything that threatens the brilliance of your spirit.
Bring all of your awareness now to your heart and the love that you carry with you for all these things you might sometimes forget that you have.
You can carry them with you at all times within your heart.
As you continue to breathe,
Recognize the strength that focusing on these things brings you.
And imagine your brightness intensifying to the maximum degree.
When you breathe out,
You recharge.
You feel relaxed and calm.
Allow the brightness to build with every breath in.
See yourself twinkling like a star.
Now hear yourself saying these words with conviction.
You may also repeat them out loud if you'd like.
I am grateful for this moment.
I embrace each day with gratitude.
I am grateful for my dreams and desires.
My dreams and desires are manifesting right now.
Each day I am more mindful of the small blessings I should be thankful for.
I am so blessed.
I am so grateful for discovering my ability to create the reality I love.
Each day I am grateful for the beauty of life.
I am grateful for the privileges I have been blessed with.
I am thankful for each and every day.
I am thankful for my ability to achieve anything I put my mind to.
I am grateful for my friends and family.
Things get better and better and I am grateful for that.
Find time in your day every day that you can set aside a minute or several minutes to fully express feelings of gratitude.
By doing so,
You are increasing prosperity not only for yourself but for the world.
Positive energy spreads.
People pick up on your vibrations.
And this is how we help one another.
In the most sincere way,
Send gratitude and love out to everybody in the world.
If we can all feel this peace at any point,
Then we are blessed.
Now gently draw your awareness back to the present moment.
You can wiggle your fingers,
Your hands,
Your toes,
Your feet.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
And remember to go about your day with a deep sense of gratitude.
Namaste.
