Just allowing yourself to ruffle into your feathers and resting in your comfortable position.
Give yourself a moment to settle here.
Notice with the pure intention to be present how your body softens and relaxes,
Belly soft,
Shoulders relaxed.
Allow yourself to arrive in this posture,
Keeping the integrity of the spine straight,
Tall,
Dignified,
Inviting ease into the body through the breath.
Notice how the muscles soften gradually with every breath.
Every breath becomes a new possibility and opportunity to surrender deeper into relaxation.
Acknowledge to the mind that there is nowhere else to be but here.
Acknowledge that you are safe in this moment,
So whatever your senses are picking up in this moment,
There is no need to respond or react.
You are giving yourself the gift to completely relax into this moment,
Allowing this moment to be and being with this moment.
Softening the corners of the eye,
Softening the wings of the nose and relaxing the bridge of the nose too.
Sensing the weight of the tongue in the mouth,
Slightly separating your teeth with a sense of heaviness and rest.
You feel safe,
Soft,
Grounded and at peace.
Every sound and sensation gives you permission to let go a little bit more and relax a little bit deeper.
Feel into the gentle and receptive presence inward.
Allow your next exhale to soften the abdomen.
Allow your awareness to notice how your feet are resting and supported.
Your shins and your calves,
All the way into your knees,
Are soft and relaxed.
Not meeting resistance with more resistance,
But a pure allowing and noticing.
Your thighs and the glutes,
Completely soft and relaxed,
Giving yourself permission to relax into the trunk of your body.
Relaxed belly,
Restful and secure spine,
Shoulders sink down.
Surrender this relaxed awareness down,
Down your arms,
Your elbows,
Forearms,
Wrists,
Hands and fingers,
Your shoulders,
Neck,
Head,
Face is completely and deeply relaxed.
Every breath feeding more and deeper into this relaxation,
Expanding the spaciousness,
Deepening the relaxing nature of your being.
