And today I would love to tell you guys something about my experience with anxiety and how Mind-Body Connection is related and very helpful.
So let's start.
First of all,
Mind-Body Connection,
What is that?
It is a simple relationship between your mind and your body,
Understanding of both and their interconnectedness in your life.
To put it simple,
Our emotions,
Our psychological states can definitely influence our physical body,
Our physical sensations,
And vice versa.
Our physical sensations,
Physical experiences can influence our mood and our psychological experiences.
And it is very difficult to say what comes first,
Our mind or our body,
Our emotions or our physical experiences.
And that is why I'm an adept of the holistic approach,
Which views mind and body as whole.

Another very important moment to mention here is the nervous system,
Which is talked about quite a lot nowadays.
I think most of you have heard about sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system in our body.
And that is what Mind-Body Connection also works with,
Regulating these both systems in our body and understanding how they work,
What they are influenced by,
And how we can regulate them.
Let me give you an example from my personal experience,
From my way to understanding Mind-Body Connection,
To working with it,
And to becoming a Mind-Body Connection coach.
Earlier,
Let's say 5,
7,
10 years ago,
I had no idea how my body works.
I had very little idea about the emotions in my body and how it is all connected and how the well-being depends on both,
And that I can actually influence my well-being.
Nowadays,
For example,
When I get tired,
When I get anxious,
When my mind is clogged,
I do not force myself anymore to working harder,
To achieving something.
I do not get stressed by not being productive,
But not doing enough.
I just know that I need to rest and everything will become so much better after I take a nap.
Well,
Seriously,
Understanding that it is just my body being tired or that I need something,
That I need to provide something for my body at this moment,
And that I probably am lacking something very vital and very important,
Maybe some emotional experience,
Some soothing experiences,
Or just some physical rest.
It helps me so much to organize my work,
My business tasks,
My daily life,
My daily routines.
How?
When I accelerate a lot,
When I cannot stop,
When I need to do something more and more to achieve,
I cannot go to sleep because I didn't finish this task or I didn't call that person.
I need to slow down.
I understand that it is a sign for me to turn off the fight-or-flight mode and turn on my parasympathetic nervous system.
And instead of becoming even more anxious about unfinished tasks,
About all the heap of business that I have to finish,
I turn my attention inward and I see for what is lacking at the moment.
That is how my body connection,
My awareness of self helps me on a daily basis.
And it is a practical skill that anyone can learn.
And that is what I'm teaching you guys and my coaching.
This is the path that we go together so you guys can get all of the instruments and tools so that you can use in your daily life that can help you improve the quality of your life.
We go this path together and that is called Mind-Body Connection Coaching.
And of course,
There are a lot of tools to manage anxiety and to improve the quality of life.
And it all depends on each personality,
On the preferences.
But just to mention a couple,
Breathwork is amazing.
Simply observing your breath or slightly controlling it can change your state almost immediately in a matter of a few minutes.
Also,
Shaking your body,
Shaking your body parts,
Dancing or just moving in the room however you want with music or without music.
It also can help you release a lot of stress.
And it is also a very powerful tool,
An instrument that I'm using almost every day right at the moment when I notice that something is wrong.
Of course,
I think it doesn't need to be mentioned but it has to.
All the healthy habits that the whole world is talking about is very useful.
Getting enough sleep,
Having a healthy diet and exercising.
These are the pillars of your well-being,
Emotional,
Physical,
Mental well-being.
And if you're having troubles with adopting these habits,
This is where coaching is also very helpful.
