Namaste sannyasa family and everyone.

A very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,

Dehansi.

We are meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

Spirituality is a basic human right.

The right to love,

The right to be compassionate,

The right to have inner peace,

The right to be who we really are,

The right to rise above the human,

To be the superhuman,

To be the God,

To be in the nature of our reality,

To be who we really are.

Spirituality is that basic human right.

But for that to happen,

We have to remember and respect our human right.

If you ask three people around you,

Whomsoever is around you,

No matter how intelligent they are,

No matter how educated they are,

Ask themselves,

Ask them,

Do they know their human rights?

Chances are that we have all forgotten what our basic human rights are.

Not only in society,

But what does it mean to be a human?

In the madness of things,

We have somewhat completely forgotten who we really are,

We have completely forgotten what does it mean to be a human.

And we only use the word human as an excuse for our mistakes in life,

That we did something wrong because we are just human.

We have completely forgotten what is it to be a human,

The empowerment of being a human the moment we take this birth.

That starting baseline upon which the peaks of spirituality and experiences are built,

That baseline of being human,

We have somehow fallen off that baseline and living like subhuman,

Acting like subhuman,

Behaving like subhuman,

And spirituality cannot happen in that state.

So we have to first of all rise above the subhuman to be a human again,

And the way to be a human is just to remember who we really are.

What does it mean to be a human?

Immediately,

The moment you recognize what does it mean to be a human,

That self-respect will take you above,

Will take you towards spirituality,

That reminder once again will wake you up to the fact why you are here.

You are not here to just drive the mundane,

You are not here just to complete a few years in time,

What we call as life,

You are not here just for a few here and there experiences of the mundane of the world.

You are here so that you can execute the right to be human,

Which is to grow from human to realizing your true nature all the way to godliness,

To realizing that you are not just one individual consciousness,

You are this vast pure consciousness.

We all are one consciousness,

So we are here to as a starting point,

As a human,

To rise above the human,

To rise to this experience,

To rise to this realization that we are pure consciousness.

And where are we stuck?

How are we behaving?

We have completely forgotten even our basic human rights.

So once again,

Through these sessions,

I urge you to be a human once again,

To remind yourself what does it mean to be a human once again,

Before we can take the journey towards the peaks,

Before we can go into the depths where we meet ourselves once again,

The reality of who we really are,

But let us begin with the reality of what does it mean to be a human.

Respect that for ourselves,

Respect that for everyone else.

For today's session,

Let us take one question from the meditators in our community,

Because these questions are also your questions,

No matter if you are a part of this community or not,

Or you are listening in whichever situation of life of yours.

The questioner asks,

How important is it to have a designated place for meditation?

I feel it is important to have a quiet,

Open and clean space for meditation.

And I also heard someone recommends to face to East when meditation,

When meditating.

What are some basic features and rituals you would suggest?

The first part of the question,

How important is it to have a designated place for meditation?

For work,

For sleep,

For eating,

For making love,

For prayer,

For meditation.

You can do these anywhere you want,

But they all deserve a dedicated place.

You can see now,

The work has entered the home and the vibration of your home has completely changed.

In your own experience,

You see,

When you mix different spaces,

When you mix different vibrations,

What is the experience of that moment?

Now,

The work which was supposed to be at work,

Which was supposed to be in an environment at work,

Has come home.

So for work,

There is a designated,

A dedicated place and we all invest so much of our life in that space.

Then,

For eating,

We have a designated place,

We invest into a very nice dining table,

A nice room if we can afford,

And we are making sure that the space is clean,

That space is pious where you eat.

For sleeping,

We also dedicate a particular room,

A space where we know we are going to rest.

For making love,

I leave that up to you,

But for prayer and meditation,

Why do we just throw a pillow in the corner and hope that we are going to be meeting ourselves?

Such a sacred moment,

Such a sacred space where you are meeting yourself,

You are going in your inner depths to meet who you really are,

To meet the God in you.

And for prayer and meditation,

Just a pillow thrown away in the corner.

If you can,

Then if you have the luxury in life to assign a space for meditation,

Bring that space in your life.

Dedicate a particular space in your house,

Make it pious,

Make it in a way where you enter yourself.

You are in that mode that you are entering somewhere just like you enter a temple or you enter a church.

That space belongs to you,

That space belongs to your inner depths.

If you have the luxury,

If not,

Then every space is a meditative space.

A man went to a priest.

He said,

I think I have lots of evil spirits coming in the way of my success.

Can you do something?

The priest said,

Yes,

Of course I can.

Well,

If you donate $10,

000 to my work,

I will do an exclusive 10 hour ceremony for you to get rid of all the evil spirits and there will be nothing in your way of success.

The man said,

I do not have $10,

000.

The priest said,

Okay.

You don't have to do an exclusive ceremony,

I will do a standard ceremony for you.

It will just cost you $1000 of donation.

But that would be good enough for the evil spirits to for a while not touch you,

Not come in your way and you will have success in your life.

The man said,

I don't have $1000.

The priest said,

Okay.

Well,

What I could do is,

I could offer a 30 minute prayer for you,

Which will also remove all these evil spirits,

Which will also remove all the obstacles in your success.

All you have to do is give $100 of donation to what my work is.

The man said,

I don't even have $100.

The priest was taken aback.

He said,

Okay,

All I can offer you is,

I will still pray for you collectively while I'm praying for everybody else.

And that will also help to all these evil spirits to go away and you will have success in your life.

All you have to do is give me $1.

The man said,

I don't even have $1.

Then the priest said,

Then don't worry,

Go home.

You will be successful.

No evil spirits can come in your way.

If you have nothing,

What evil spirits can come in your way?

If you have no luxury in life,

If you have no comfort in life,

If you don't have the possibility of having a meditation space,

Every space,

This whole vast universe,

This outside and inside is your meditation space.

You don't need anything.

But if you have the means,

If you have the means to put up a place where there is a place to sleep,

Where there is a place to eat,

Where there is a place to work,

You should think of having one place,

A sacred place where you meditate,

Where you enter,

Where you don't do anything else.

The moment you come in contact with that space,

With that consecrated sacred space,

You are immediately tuned into meditation.

You are immediately thrown back into contemplation,

Into that moment,

Into that opening where you can be with yourself,

Where you can be who you really are.

So a particular dedicated space helps if you come to it regularly,

If you come to the same place at the same time,

In the same moments,

If you do that regularly,

That space becomes energized with your silence.

It becomes energized with your energy,

With your meditative energy,

And the moment you come in contact with it,

You are immediately thrown back into that space,

And a continuity builds up which takes you further,

Deeper into meditation.

Otherwise,

You will be always in a shallow zone,

You will always be on the surface,

And you would wish for the depths,

You will come out unsatisfied out of your meditation.

So if you can,

Please create that sacred space in your life.

See that this is the space where you meet yourself.

This is the space where you rise above the human.

This is the space where you take the journey towards God,

Towards your inner God.

For that journey,

Dedicate a sacred space in your home,

In your life.

The second part of the question,

I also heard someone recommends to face to East while meditating.

These are fine tunings,

You don't have to worry about them now.

It is like a compass.

You will find your true North,

You will find your East as your meditation matures.

As your practice matures,

Your consciousness becomes more and more alive.

It will orient itself.

It will guide you where you should be,

Where is the meditation space in your home,

Where,

How to sit,

Which way to face.

All this will come,

Arise out of your intuitions,

Out of your spontaneity,

Out of your intelligence.

Until that point,

These are so minor fine tunings that it does not matter.

For now,

What matters is that you meditate regularly at a particular place,

Giving that respect,

Giving that space that it deserves,

That space in your life where you meet yourself.

The last,

What are the some basic features and rituals you would suggest?

Nothing except for that you respecting that space.

While entering that space,

You respect that space as if you are entering a church,

A temple,

A mosque,

Something that is sacred.

Let us move to the meditation technique for today,

Which Bhairava has given in Bigyan Bhairavtantra.

Contemplate on the profound darkness spreading in front of closed eyes as a form of Bhairava and become one with it.

Let me repeat.

Contemplate on the profound darkness spreading in front of closed eyes as a form of Bhairava and become one with it.

See that lots and lots of meditation techniques are around the light.

We visualize,

We imagine,

We portray this vast empty space,

We portray God as light and we completely forget about darkness.

That is half the circle because that space,

That emptiness,

That nothingness is neither light,

Is neither darkness,

Is both.

These both light and darkness,

They meet somewhere.

In that meeting is that emptiness,

In that meeting is that nothingness,

Is that vastness.

So God is when this light and darkness both meet,

When there is no duality.

This duality which you give of white and black,

Of light and dark,

This duality which you create in your perception.

So this technique,

One of the rare techniques where the emphasis is on darkness,

To bring you back to completing the circle for that meeting of light and dark to happen in you.

For that nothingness which has no color,

Which has no light,

No darkness,

Which is not black,

Which is not white,

That meeting,

That emptiness in front of you is what is being triggered through this meditation.

So how to do this meditation?

You will close your eyes and you will see in front of your closed eyes a mixed pattern of light and dark.

And you are so used to seeing the light,

You are so used to seeing what is drawn on the background of darkness,

That you completely miss the darkness,

You completely miss the background.

In this meditation,

You will start with acknowledging both light and dark as the first step.

As the second step,

You will shift your focus from light and dark to just the darkness,

Allowing your thoughts,

Allowing the contents of your consciousness to melt,

To dissolve,

To disappear in this darkness.

And as a third step,

Move so deep into this darkness,

Move so deep further into this nothingness that no darkness,

No light remains.

You are in emptiness and there is no sense of light or dark.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Please close your eyes and take a posture that is comfortable for you.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience.

Allowing your body to find a restful posture with every exhalation,

Your breath to find its natural flow.

Your mind to calm down in awareness towards your inner space.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Shift your awareness in front of your closed eyes.

What you see is a pattern of light and dark.

A few moments to acknowledge this pattern of light and dark in front of your closed eyes.

At all times,

Eyes relaxed.

As you shift more and more awareness to the pattern of light and darkness.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Slowly shifting your focus,

Your attention to the darkness,

To the background.

Not trying to stress yourself in doing so.

Simply shifting attention more and more to darkness.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Not trying to reject anything.

Not trying to force anything.

Simply remaining aware of the darkness in front of your closed eyes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Allowing your thoughts,

Your ideas,

Your contents of consciousness,

Dissolve in this darkness.

Disappear,

Melt in this darkness.

And a profound sense of darkness in front of your eyes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Letting go of yourself in this darkness.

Moving deeper in silence,

In awareness of this darkness.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let go of the technique.

Let go of the darkness.

Allowing the light in the darkness to merge.

You remaining in silence,

In awareness.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Simply remain aware and silent.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Let us practice this and bring this into our own experience in the next minutes.

Very gently and slowly.

You may open your eyes allowing light,

The dark,

The duality once again to manifest in front of your eyes.

While you remain always in awareness and silence.
