Well meditation is a way to calm your mind by paying attention to one thing at a time and calming your mind helps you calm your body.
What's the one thing we can pay attention to to help us stay calm?
Well let's focus our mind on the Sun.
Close your eyes.
Try your best to sit still.
Now imagine the Sun shining bright in the blue sky,
Making people feel nice and warm,
Making flowers grow,
Gently waking people up in the morning,
Shining down on animals.
The Sun is amazing.
But wait,
Do you feel that?
Your arms are getting nice and warm,
Your legs are feeling cozy,
You feel warmth in your belly.
Imagine that you are the Sun floating high in the blue sky.
Look down at everything below you.
What do you see?
The ocean,
The mountains,
The forest,
Animals playing,
And cities full of people.
Light is shining from you to the world.
Slowly stretch your arms out in front of you.
When you do,
Pretend you are giving light to everyone.
And when the people below feel the sunlight,
They smile.
You make them happy as you shine.
Now take a deep breath and say,
I am the Sun.
I am shining.
I am the Sun.
I am shining.
I am the Sun.
I am shining.
Good job.
Now go into the world and shine.
