Tonight we're going to be not only talking about,

But experiencing loving ourselves.

So first of all let's take some time and just breathe together.

Breathing in,

Feeling our heart center,

And feeling one another.

For we're not separate.

And what we do tonight we create together.

Because I sense into each one of you that joins,

And you sense into me,

And together we create this loving space.

And loving ourselves is alignment.

Aligning to all that is there for us.

Aligning to the best that there is for us.

And it may look very different.

Aligning without the expectation that things look a particular way.

Because then we get lost in,

Am I doing it right?

Or if things aren't working out perfectly in my life,

Am I doing something?

And those are all cool questions to ask,

But we're all going to go through this life and have challenges.

So it's not an expectation of having no challenges.

But tonight I'm so excited to start this year off with you.

And let 2023 be the year that we fall in love with ourselves.

And when we try to do that from the mind's perspective,

We look for an aspect to like about ourselves.

And that's a hard thing to do.

Usually we can find one thing.

I know the very first time I actually tried to love myself,

Thought about,

Okay I want to love me.

I'm important enough to love me.

Just the decision to show up and love you is enough.

And we don't always know how to do that.

And the first step that I took in that direction was just the decision to try.

And the second step was finding some aspect about me to love.

But I had so many judgments on myself that it was hard to love me.

Whether I thought I was attractive or not attractive,

Or how did I look,

Etc.

Those were the first places.

You know,

You think about loving yourself through some sort of value or an attribute.

But the first thing that I had to do was love the cells of my body.

Because I didn't know enough about cells to have a judgment about them.

So the first thing I said was,

I love the cells of my body.

And when I did that,

I felt my body light up.

So find just an aspect of your own body to love and allow yourself to just say,

I love that part of me.

And each day I would say that I love the cells of my body.

And then I grew deeper in my understanding of how to love me.

And it's been a process of years to finally realize that that which seeks to love me is what needs to be loved.

Because my mind sought to love me.

It tried to find a way to love me.

Because it didn't understand that it was loved.

So where you end up loving yourself from changes over time.

But the very choice,

The very choice to try,

Is the first step in the direction of loving you.

So when I first thought about loving me,

I struggled to say,

Well,

What would it be?

Well,

I think I'm a kind person.

So I love that I'm kind.

I love that I'm kind.

And yet I could find places where I wasn't kind.

And mostly those places were to me.

And sometimes others.

And that is not the requirement to be kind.

Although it's a wonderful thing to be.

It's not required to be loved.

There is no requirement to be loved.

And these things are not what we've been taught.

Because to receive love,

Most of us found ways that we thought might earn us that love.

So we'd maybe learn that if we were good boys or girls or good kids,

We would get love.

Or if we did what someone told us to do,

We would get love.

And that's the part of us that's trying to figure out how to love us.

So that always has a little bit of a struggle.

Because it's learned that you have to earn love.

But it also wants to just love.

So if that which is seeking love is to be loved,

Then what is really loving?

And who is loving?

Who is the one that's going to love you?

Who is the one that already adores you?

Because if we show up to seek loving ourselves,

We must know that it's safe.

That it actually is appropriate.

So as we begin to love ourselves,

We learn the one that is truly loving us.

Because that one has made it safe enough for us to show up.

You have made it safe for you to be loved.

You have taken out all the risk.

Because if a part of you is willing to step forward and love you,

That part has already felt the love that you are.

And it seems confusing in a way.

Like,

Isn't the one that's trying to love the one that's going to love me?

No.

The one that's trying to love has felt the you that is love and is opening the door to more love.

And that's,

Again,

Let that rest in you and breathe that in.

And breathe that in.

Because we're going to a place in us that is love.

That doesn't question whether you deserve it.

That is excited to share with you all the love of the universe.

Because it is the part of you that absolutely is the universe that's opening its arms to itself.

Consciously learning to love itself.

To trust itself.

To know and express love,

One to another,

But especially to your own self.

And from the beginning of time,

This love has been opening and growing and increasing.

Loving you is an extension of consciousness.

Every day as you go about your day and you do whatever it is that you do,

You grow consciousness ability to love itself.

If we were all perfect,

There would be no expansion.

But loving you,

No matter what you do,

Is expansive.

And it is possible.

It's about resting into who you are.

Not loving yourself anyway,

But loving yourself all the way.

Loving you,

No matter how that expression looked today.

And that's consciousness.

Learning to love all the aspects of itself.

So let's breathe in together,

Resting in the knowledge that that which seeks love will be loved tonight and has always been loved.

You have that capacity,

That ability to love you.

And you're opening the door to that more and more.

And by slowing down and just breathing in,

Noticing first that you exist,

That you are here,

That is the only requirement to be loved.

Your existence is enough to be loved.

And how is that the case?

How can just your existence be enough?

Because your existence is consciousness.

And consciousness is.

It has no requirements.

We sometimes wonder if we're good enough.

Consciousness is itself enough.

Thinking about being good enough separates you from who you are.

It requires that you judge yourself,

Validate,

Create a standard.

And the moment that we separate from ourselves,

Our being,

And we begin to judge ourselves,

We separate from alignment.

I started out just saying I love the cells of my body.

But I moved through a period of time to where now I recognize that any time I'm thinking,

I'm not loving me.

Because I can think or I can love me.

Now the interesting thing is that I can love me and do things at the same time.

So doing isn't based on thinking.

You can do something without thinking about it.

But the moment we get caught up in thought,

We separate from ourselves.

Because I can actively love me,

Hold that space in myself,

Connect to that inner being,

Feel that vibration inside me.

And you can focus on the vibration inside of you and feel it and touch it.

Be in it.

Not just observe it.

Because remember if I'm observing that vibration in me,

I'm not being that vibration.

So that which is observing the vibration that you are,

Let it come and join the vibration that you are.

Let it feel,

Let yourself feel that vibration.

Merge completely with it.

Breathe it in and breathe it out.

Notice that it's not just in your chest,

But it's throughout your whole body.

All the cells of your body.

All the conscious cells of your body ready to love you.

Feel all those cells.

That part of you does not question its existence.

As you feel the cells of your body,

You know that you are alive and exist.

And if you paused breathing for a moment,

You would still exist.

So though your existence is physically manifested in front of you as your body or with you as your body,

Your existence is beyond that.

Now a thought can come in and judge that existence.

But that thought cannot be that consciousness.

It can be recognized by consciousness.

But it cannot recognize all that you are as consciousness.

You can recognize a thought without being that thought.

But that thought cannot be you without your attention.

Now it can grab your attention and it can distract your attention.

But only you can love the thought.

The thought seeks your love even when it wants to love itself.

It's seeking the vibration that you are,

The existence that you are.

And it's turning to you to say,

Love me.

And it's safe.

It's so safe because you're going to love it.

Because that's who you are.

You are love.

Your existence is love.

And that is why to just exist is enough.

Because just existing is the universal force of love that you are.

So when someone just exists,

It's like,

Oh the sun,

It just shines.

That's you.

So your existence is the expression of the universe loving itself.

And what could be more than that?

And it's simple.

And it's not complicated.

It's deep,

But it's not complicated.

It never meant to judge itself.

But because it came,

As you came into this world to express that,

Things occurred that could only occur in consciousness.

So it's not some,

Though things may have been rough and hard,

It was not an evil plan against you.

It's just the way life is.

You come on this planet,

You're expressing love,

And someone gives you feedback that,

Oh,

This is how you get love.

And consciousness,

To expand itself,

Just like the infinity loop,

Just like that,

Consciousness comes to learn something about itself.

And then it judges and goes away from itself to then come back and see itself,

And know that it was always perfectly fine and happy.

So we're always stepping away from ourselves and then recognizing ourselves and coming back and loving ourselves.

And it's like,

As we do this,

It gets richer and richer and deeper and deeper.

Know that what we create in this space is not one way.

That tonight,

That your hearts open and join this space,

Because not only do you want to love you,

You love.

So you love you,

And you also love one another.

And what you would love is a planet that loved all of its beings.

And isn't it amazing that as consciousness,

In our heart of hearts,

We want to love and we want others to feel love.

Now if that is the case for you,

Why would you judge your existence?

Consciousness says,

If you love,

If you love you and you love others,

What more could I ask of you?

Could I ask of you?

What greater gift could be given?

What more important role could there be?

So as you go out and live,

No matter what you do,

Whether you go to college,

Don't go to college,

Whether you make a certain amount,

All that matters is that you love you and you love others.

Because there is no greater purpose or work.

And what a wonderful purpose.

And that purpose may evidence differently through each one of you,

But somewhere inside of you,

You're aware that accepting yourself and loving yourself as you are is the most wonderful thing that you could do.

And then when you do that,

It is not a struggle to love others.

It's not hard,

It's not complicated.

When you love you,

You're at such peace and you exist in such a presence of love that you see others through that love.

And if there was a verse that tells us that,

Someone said,

What's the greatest commandment?

Love God.

But then it became,

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Because if you love you,

You will love your neighbor,

And you are the love of God.

And it's a gentle way of being and existing.

And gentle with yourself.

For so long,

We've judged or had some sort of struggle around loving ourselves.

But the struggles are common.

I can't love me because I did something in particular.

Or I can't love me because I don't like me.

If you don't like you,

It's because you haven't truly met you.

So I'm holding the space of that and reaching to each person's heart that I'm connecting to right now.

And your heart's connecting to mine.

Because that same infinity loop is happening.

I'm loving myself.

Then I'm loving you.

You're loving yourself.

Then you're loving me.

And as we express this back and forth to one another,

We begin to realize that this is how we are not separate.

This is how we are one.

Because where do you begin?

And where do I begin?

Where do you end?

And where do I end?

It is just oneness.

As I love you,

I'm loving me.

As you love you,

You're loving me.

And that just goes on and on.

And that's where I say any thought that disrupts that is unloving.

Because that's the space that we want to hold together.

This loving infinity loop.

Loving ourselves.

Loving you.

Loving me.

Loving you.

And as I experience that,

And as you experience that,

And express that,

And as you experience it,

And express it back to me,

As we join one another doing this,

And we express it out beyond ourselves,

Beyond the borders of your body,

Beyond the borders of your house,

Throughout your state,

Throughout your country,

Throughout this world,

Just loving.

Loving yourself.

Loving everything out there.

As we do that,

We don't want to think.

We don't want to judge.

We just want to be this loop.

This presence.

This consciousness.

Recognizing itself and loving itself.

And loving the other.

And any thought that would dare interrupt this beautiful experience,

Well,

We'll just love it.

We don't have to be worried about it.

We don't have to focus on it.

We don't have to usher it away.

We just include it in the circle of love.

Just keep loving.

And loving yourself.

Loving that being that you don't know yet.

You haven't experienced the boundaries of you yet.

And even as you maybe meditate and do experience the boundlessness of you,

You could spend a million years learning more about you.

There's no end to you.

So your existence is so vast and so loving and so precious.

And the universe exists inside of you.

So yes,

Your existence is enough.

The universe exists inside of you.

What more could you be?

And so as you learn about you and learn to love everything about you,

Any thought,

Any judgment,

You have space to love that.

What if I don't look good today?

What if I look fat today?

What if I look too skinny today?

Love it.

What is that?

The universe exists inside of you.

All fat,

All skinny,

All pretty,

All ugly,

All white,

All black,

All colors,

All ethnicities exist in you.

And the beauty of life is learning to experience reflections of those aspects of ourselves as one another.

So if we have a problem with any person,

We're not loving something about ourselves.

Love yourself.

Love the other.

Love you.

And the thing is,

Let's try this together.

Again that loop,

Feeling the vibration of the energy that I am,

Not observing it,

Not noticing it,

But diving into it,

To where it lights up my body and lights up your body,

Feeling it,

Being it.

And from that space that I am love,

From that space you are love.

I love myself.

I start this infinity loop and then I love you and then I love myself and I love you and you love yourself and you love me.

And just keep running that.

Let your mind focus on feeling that energy and running that.

And as you do that,

You could wash the dishes,

You could clean the house,

You could drive the car.

The moment you start thinking,

It starts to disrupt it.

So you go back to it,

Imagining that energy,

Noticing that if a thought comes up,

Just include it in that love and spend as much time as you can in that space.

And then you'll notice that as you go about your work day,

That that energy is consistently running,

Even as you have to take moments to interact with others.

And it's just like anything else,

That if you spun a top for a minute,

It would go on its own for a little while.

And you could go about doing something,

You can have an interaction with someone,

But you notice the top and it's,

Oh,

Time to give it another twist.

Same thing here.

You run this energy,

You get comfortable in this energy.

Then you interact with someone at work.

And then you notice,

Oh,

Maybe,

Okay,

Let me get it going back again.

So you touch into it for just a few moments and then go back.

And then it gets stronger and stronger.

And then you find that,

You know,

I just want to take a couple of minutes to just focus on that energy.

And then I'll get back to doing the work that I was doing.

And it's fun to play with,

To love you.

And that energy is aligning so that,

Should something happen and you get angry at yourself or you get angry at another,

Oh yeah,

There's space for that.

I don't have to be mad at myself about that.

I don't have to overthink it.

I can just sit in the space of love and accept that it's okay.

It's just a part of me that needed to express so that I could love it and keep loving you.

So the part of you that wants to love you needs your love.

It's calling to you to become the vibration that you are.

And the universe is calling to you to recognize yourself in all that you see so that all things may experience love.

And it calls to you because you are capable of loving that much.

And it starts with loving you.

Because I know that I love loving you.

And I love loving me.

And I love loving you,

The me that you are.

And I love falling into the shared space that love creates and expressing that with you and how you express it.

I love each of you.

And I love feeling the love that you extend towards me and towards each other and your family and your friends and strangers and those who on occasion need to hear that from you so they can find it in themselves.

Because they too exist and the universe exists inside of them.

So the only requirement,

If there even was one,

Is just that you exist.

And each of us meet that requirement.

So I continue to remember this space,

This feeling of energy.

And it almost gets slower just because it's becoming one and centered.

Just one and centered.

It doesn't actually have to move this way because right there in the center is all of us.

That quiet,

Beautiful center where we all exist together as one.

Complete and whole and utterly lovable.

It is precious to be in this space with you.

Gently breathing,

Not thinking,

Just being and being love.

You are the love that you've been seeking.

And it isn't distant.

It's in every inhale.

And at this point,

I'm just resting with you in this loving space.

And we share it to our entire world,

Which could use some love right now.

And the recognition that every person on this planet is enough.

And their existence is so precious.

And it's easy to love everyone,

No matter their level of consciousness or action.

Because you'd rather love them than judge them.

So let us share it together as we breathe in and out.

Let us imagine sharing it with our planet,

With every person on this planet,

With every plant,

Animal,

With every expression of consciousness and existence on this planet.

And remember to include you.

And this space is so sweet that I don't even want to talk.

I just want to feel you.

Thank you.

Thank you all for joining tonight,

For creating such a love balm for the world tonight.

By expressing love to yourself and to one another,

You guys have saturated this earth with love.

And it so needed it.

And that's what you're capable of.

That kind of love.

That's your existence.

And that's why you're enough.

Wow.

I feel you.

I don't want to leave you,

But I don't want to talk.

I just want to feel you and feel what you're generating for this planet.

Thank you.

And what you're generating for yourself.

Whoa.

The love guy.

Oh,

There's so much love.

And in the face of this kind of love,

And in the space of this depth of love,

You can understand and you can feel how nothing you have ever done can interrupt that kind of love.

Because that kind of love doesn't care.

That kind of love just loves.

That kind of love.

When you go to hold up,

But remember when I did this,

And it doesn't even exist anymore.

Because nothing can exist but love in the face of that kind of love that you are.

That's how much you can love you and love others.

Where it doesn't matter.

Nothing can interrupt how much you are loved and how much can you allow yourself.

And do not worry,

Because whatever you can allow today,

You can allow twice as much tomorrow.

And it goes on for infinity.

And this is just the start of 2023.

And how much you're gonna love you in this year.

Thank you for creating this space tonight.

This unconditional expression of love for yourself and for others tonight.
