This focuses on how to generate the most effective perspective and execution when finding yourself in a limbo state. It can be difficult seeing the forest for the trees. I encourage you to hang in there.

Feeling stuck,

Trapped,

Suffocation,

Lost,

Immobile,

In this dense cemented base locked around leg blocks.

This is the notion where we have an outlook and that horizon keeps receding although we continuously head toward it.

It seems to never draw that much closer.

This is limbo.

You may have learned the lessons,

And you might be right.

Even if you squeeze one more out,

You feel flatlined.

However,

Not everything is about the lessons.

In fact,

It could just be a twisted trial set up to compound our level of grit.

But then we say,

I've got bucket loads of determination.

I'm stoical.

I can hang.

But the reasoning and rationale fall short because I need things to shift.

This narrative is dusty,

Like a book read too many times,

Cyclical and Sisyphean.

The mini-breakthroughs are fulfilling,

But I want new timelines,

Ones I've been toiling for every day,

Manifesting and massaging with a motherly nurture.

What isn't working?

What life hack have I not integrated?

Hard-biting truth can be cold,

Called in to get the job done,

A vital response to the protests,

Plus motivational systems we install that don't cut it.

Says to us,

This is reality.

You don't like it?

Take the easy way out.

Till we let the awareness sink in that we don't have an easy way through this.

They've all been exhausted,

Fried,

And died out long ago.

Our only option is forward,

What we signed up for,

And no stopping till we hit that promised land.

Now here's the conundrum.

We know that place exists,

And we not only have to make do with the present,

But love it as much,

If not more.

Then what we strive for,

This is the mind-bender.

We think if we get too content to the current,

The edge might get dull,

Or we may become prey to the resigning attitude that the fire-lit drive will become a low-flickered flame.

Then due to the self-abnegation of our zealous plight,

We succumb to a tedium and figure this is as good as it gets for the unforeseeable term.

This is not right,

And highly inaccurate,

Because what must be done is to straddle both realms at the same time,

The limbo state and the one we need to generate,

One foot within each firmly planted,

To conclude that it may be an eternal climb,

Internal conquest that we cannot for a second lose sight of the finish line,

The dream,

The desire,

Snow-capped goals that keep us bound.

But forget about the time,

As it must be transcended with sublime will,

Abandoned fright and limitless sight.

You do not lose intent.

That is your mainstay,

Sustenance and pulse.

That is what breathes you every day and carves out legacy,

A pride-worthy past.

Complete what you start.

Closers come first,

Steady,

Unstoppable and indescribably built to last.

You will then walk out,

Be free to leave behind that void.

Deliberate,

You delivered yourself to the new life,

Claimed it first here,

Then saw to it in full form an unquestionable magnitude.

This transition attained.

It was done because you reframed perspective,

Reframed from the defeat.

The feat you can now add proudly to your chronicle is stamped in the book of time,

Liberated from limbo.
