The body,

Be wildly devoted.

Utter relaxation and surrender.

The impermanence of all creations,

Its ends or but,

It all completely to be present,

To be.

Allow a very slow journey.

Begin the soles of your feet as if your entire body begins this gentle receding into stillness,

Into a state of great ease.

Simply allow awareness.

Travel to the soles of the feet.

Cross the ten toes.

Cross the top of the feet.

Around the ankle,

The left and the right.

Over the heels,

Slowly coming into the shins,

Left and right.

Awareness is dancing softly and slowly from the left to the right and from the right,

From the right calf to the left calf.

From the back of the left knee to the front of the right knee,

To the back of the right knee to the front of the left knee.

All the way around like a candy cane stripe.

Releasing the hips,

The seat,

The softnesses.

Holding is released.

Even from the muscles down into every part,

Releases.

All the way from the back to the sides,

Wrapping around the front.

Gliding all the way from the front of the hips,

Cross the low belly.

Low belly meets the bottom of the ribcage.

The bottom of the ribcage blossoms open into the front of the ribcage and around the sides to the back.

Trailing down the spine and expanding out around the back of the spine.

Noticing each rib,

Left side and right,

As they touch into the spine.

Their gentle movement with each inhale and exhale.

All the way around the ribs,

Softening the lungs and the heart.

All the way up to the collarbones,

Tops of the shoulders now,

And gliding down the arms.

Softly letting awareness to right.

Top of the left shoulder to the top of the right shoulder.

Down the upper arm on the right side to the upper arm.

From the left elbow to the left wrist,

Spreading out across the top of the right hand and wrapping around the right palm and out through every finger on the right hand.

To the left,

To the back of the left,

Through every finger.

Glide to the space where the jaw meets the skull.

From the jaw,

The chin,

The bottom lip,

Roof of the mouth.

Corners,

Softens all fears.

Soothing and total and body.

Cherish every perception.

Subtlety of the sensations.

Allow the beloved to be herself.

She is you.

Holding on and letting go.

Accept within yourself this rise of intimacy of you with you.

Love's energy flows through you.

Letting go and holding on.

Notice the calm in the body,

The balance in the breath,

The quiet in the mind.

Deep and holy space that is the wisdom of your being.

Beyond all that you can touch and taste,

See,

Hear and feel.

That there lies all you need to rest deeply and completely in this yoga nidra.

Feel free to remain here for as long as you wish.
