Hello and welcome.
My name is Tanya and I'm coming to you from Darug and Gundungurra country.
If you realized how powerful your thoughts were,
How deeply they were heard by the universe,
How they reinforce your mindset and shape your day,
You would come to understand that your thoughts are like the wishes you would make when rubbing a genie's bottle.
If you could see your thoughts exiting your body and morphing into energy and colors,
What would that look like?
Imagine the energy and color finding its way into the hands of a great sculptor who wanted to make you a gift.
After feeling your energy and seeing the colors you provided,
What would they make you and hand back to you?
The universe wants to give you an abundance of gifts and to help you live your life wholeheartedly but it only has your intentions and mindset to go by.
So what have you been inadvertently asking for?
Don't let negative,
Self-doubting,
Self-loathing thoughts set up camp.
Your ego,
Your demons,
They love this kind of pity party.
Sitting there with a huge bag of popcorn watching the dramas unfold as entertainment.
It's weird to think that there is a part of us,
The ego,
That crafts its own existence out of this self-created misery.
Your demons,
Your ego,
They only exist because you give them oxygen.
You keep allowing them to breathe.
Your ego is like a firebug that deliberately lights up dry grass and dry leaves and sets off this firestorm of negative thoughts because that which is familiar,
Even misery,
Is more comfortable and appealing than the discomfort of the unknown.
The ego,
Your demons,
They don't want you to find stillness and peace.
They don't want you to make a decision or find your way forward because then they don't exist.
So the only thing holding you back is your thoughts.
What thoughts and conversations are you letting flourish?
What words and commentary do you need to fight back down?
Changing your words in your head is how you change your life.
It starts with I can and I am.
And I am.
I can make decisions.
I am capable of navigating this.
I am worth it and it'll be okay.
You ask everyone around you about what you should do but the truth is you have the ability to answer those very questions.
Just because you don't like the answer because it's uncomfortable doesn't mean it's wrong.
Sometimes though the perception is that it is easier to keep playing the same I don't know what to do record again and again.
That record is familiar.
It is somewhere that you have boundaries and that you know what to do with which is to ruminate and ask everyone else.
It's like choosing to sit in a room with only windows and one door.
Occasionally looking out those windows to marvel at or complain at what is there but never opening the door.
Stepping through the door feels like stepping into the unknown so you go back to staring out the windows.
The truth is that you don't believe in yourself.
You don't believe in your capacity to step into what you think is the unknown.
Yet it's not the unknown completely because the very thing that you will have with you when you step through the door is yourself.
It's time to believe that you have everything you need within you right now.
You pigeonhole yourself into who you are.
You forget about your ability and your right to change,
To grow,
To want different things,
To be a different person.
Your soul and your spirit it's always tugging at you to live your life with meaning and purpose.
The battle you have on your hands is simply believing in yourself,
Believing that you have everything you need within you right now.
It's time to believe that you have your back and you will stand up for yourself and your values.
You are no longer a child,
No longer a teenager with limited skills and experience.
You are an adult that has the capacity to stand up for what's important and to show up and experience your life in a way that is authentic.
When you are tired and overwhelmed it's hard to believe such things.
So rest when you need and make sure you undertake regular meditation and then and then you take a full and deep breath and you say,
I can do this and I am worth it.
