The benefits of effortless meditation like your breath slowing and your nervous system relaxing can be felt in most sessions but after consistent practice, the other benefits can sneak up on you and find their way into your daily life. One of those benefits is perspective and so I choose the image of the flower as it reminded me of the story of Buddha's 'flower sermon' where he held up a flower and spoke no words and eventually someone smiled.
