Blowing with the breath meditation.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Allow your body to settle,
Releasing any tension with each breath.
Bring your awareness to the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Feel the steady support holding you.
Imagine roots extending from your body,
Anchoring you into the present moment,
Offering stability and ease.
Now shift your focus to your breath.
Notice its natural rhythm,
How it flows in and out,
Without forcing it,
Simply observe.
As you inhale,
Imagine drawing in calm and clarity,
And as you exhale,
Release any tension or distractions.
Picture your breath like a soft ocean wave.
Each inhale is a gentle wave rolling in,
Bringing in relaxation and peace.
Each exhale is the wave retreating,
Carrying away any stress or worry.
Ride the rhythm of your breath,
Flowing effortlessly with each wave.
Silently repeat to yourself,
I am here,
I am present,
I am at peace.
Let these words settle within you,
Reinforcing a sense of grounding and calm.
Take one final deep breath in,
Filling yourself with gratitude for this moment of stillness,
And slowly exhale,
Bringing awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
And when you feel ready,
Open your eyes,
Carrying this sense of peace into the rest of your day.
