This meditation guides participants through a calming, grounding practice that begins with body awareness and gentle relaxation using Ujjayi breath. The focus then shifts to the chakra system, beginning at the root and moving upward through each energy center, using color visualization and emotional intention to activate and balance each chakra. Listeners are encouraged to connect with feelings like safety, creativity, strength, love, truth, intuition, and spiritual connection. The meditation emphasizes tuning into personal experiences of color and sensation, allowing intuition to guide the process. It ends with an invitation to revisit any chakra that may need more attention and to carry the awareness beyond the session.

So even if you choose this position every single week,

Go ahead and take as much time as you need to ensure that you are very comfortable.

And then let's go ahead and begin to bring the awareness inside of the body.

And we're first going to begin by just noticing the parts of the body that could be let go.

So anywhere you feel like you might be holding or tense,

Sometimes just acknowledging those points,

Then the body is able to let go.

Or sometimes we can even imagine as if we're going to send a word like soften into that area.

And as you settle into this position,

Take this opportunity to make any final movements,

And then we'll start to find our stillness.

Remembering that,

Of course,

If you need to move,

Let the body do that.

We're going to begin working with our ujjayi breath,

And we will use it only on the exhale.

So whenever you're ready,

The next time you begin to inhale,

Just inhale normally through the nose.

And then using that restricting of the throat,

That ujjayi exhale.

And allow this ujjayi exhale to settle the body,

To relax the body.

And then as you exhale,

Just breathe out anything that is not serving you in this moment,

This meditation,

Almost as if you can just breathe out any smoke or stagnation,

Even breathing out any thoughts,

Any thoughts.

Take a couple more rounds with your own breath.

Moving your awareness now to your root chakra,

Located right about the perineum area.

The word chakra means wheel,

And I want you to begin to imagine a red wheel,

A red circle or sphere in this area.

Maybe you can get the sense of your color red,

Whether it feels dim or bright.

Is it muted,

Or is it a saturated red color?

With your awareness in this specific part,

I want you to bring in feelings of safety,

Trusting that you can be open,

Bringing in feelings of settledness,

Almost as if you are sensing like you're this heavy boulder,

Solid.

Inviting in those feelings while still keeping the awareness in the root chakra area,

Reminding yourself that I am safe,

I trust,

I am settled.

Now,

I'm beginning to move up into the sacral chakra,

Just a couple inches below the belly button,

Right in the pelvic region.

This color here is orange.

And just like the root chakra,

Your shade of orange can be dependent on your own imagination.

You may be getting a sense of a dullness or brightness.

This is just information.

Maybe you know,

Or maybe you don't know.

And then inviting in,

In this area,

Feelings of playfulness,

Lighthearted,

Dancing,

Fluid like water.

Flexible,

Not rigid.

Maybe images are starting to pop up even when I say these words.

Invite this sense of freedom and fluidity into the body.

Invite it into that root chakra,

Open it,

Enhance it.

Let's go ahead and move up now to the solar plexus,

Right at the belly button.

The color here is red,

Or excuse me,

Is yellow.

You choosing your shade,

Brightness or dimness of yellow.

Strength,

Inviting in strength.

It's like this roaring fire.

Nothing can get in your way.

You are this strong warrior.

You believe in yourself.

You are proud of yourself.

Feel this warrior-like self right in your solar plexus.

Allow that yellow to brighten with those feelings.

Moving up again,

Now we're at the heart chakra,

Center of the chest.

The color here is green.

Getting a sense as we're first beginning,

More green shade.

Even the specific type of green,

Does it have more yellow?

Is it a jungly type green,

Like a leaf?

Love,

Inviting in feelings of deep love.

Loving yourself,

Forgiveness for others,

For yourself.

Love for all around you,

Including yourself.

A deep sense of love.

Moving up again,

Now to your throat.

The color is blue.

Speaking your truth.

Not holding back when you want to speak.

Listening,

Being that active listener.

Inviting in that sense of speaking your truth.

Notice if that blue changes.

Changes at all.

It becomes brighter.

And if it doesn't,

Just noticing that too.

Moving up to the third eye,

Between the eyebrows.

Color is indigo,

Mixed between a blue and a purple.

Seeing your indigo shade and saturation of color.

The third eye.

Inviting in these visualizations,

The sense of being able to see what your eyes cannot.

Even with your eyes closed,

You can see beyond this space.

A true intuition in this area.

Knowing when to use it,

When to close the eye.

A balance.

And then moving up,

The crown chakra,

Purple.

Feeling yourself opening in this area,

Connecting to something bigger than you.

Something grander,

Something wiser.

Maybe you see this purple light shining up like a channel all the way up to this source.

Or maybe it turns into a white color or gold.

Being connected to something above you.

Feeling this sense that we are all connected.

Maybe at this time you want to go back to a certain chakra and brighten it again or bring in more feelings.

Taking note if one of those chakras might have felt a little dim.

Or even felt like you couldn't bring in those feelings.

That might be a place to continue working even beyond this meditation.

And I'll leave you here in this place.

Continuing with your chakras or maybe beginning to close out.

For my heart tears,

Namaste.
