Hello,

Unique learners.

This session unboxed one of my favorite things to do to lift my spirit,

An attitude of gratitude.

I will share my favorite 3x3 gratitude list which I write down every night before going to bed.

Gratitude says that writing a gratitude list may improve your sleep,

Self-esteem,

Enhances empathy and reduces aggression and effectively increases happiness and reduces depression.

I know that since I've started writing gratitude lists like 4 years ago,

I went from this depressed,

Insomniac,

Negative person who thought the universe and everything in it was a gangster,

To someone who suddenly sees butterflies,

Smells delicious flowers,

Has the most amazing group of friends and sleeps like a baby.

Too good to be true?

Well,

I will share with you what one of my major contributions to this was.

Writing a gratitude list every night before going to bed.

Yes,

Every night,

Not just like let me try this 2 weeks and never do it again.

Even when I really don't want to do it,

For example I just had a fight with a friend or I couldn't care less about gratitude.

And when I'm finally enjoying a night with watching television and Netflix asks me if I want to continue watching,

Yes even then I write a gratitude list.

So get comfortable and you might just want to listen and repeat your gratitude list in your mind or do it old school like me and grab a pen and paper.

Breathe in through your nose,

Hold it on the top and breathe out through the mouth longer than your in-breath.

Once more,

Breathe in through the nose,

Hold it and breathe out a sigh thing from your mouth.

The 3x3 gratitude journal asks,

What are three beautiful things I saw that people did today?

What was the reason that I found those three things beautiful?

For example,

The woman that walked past me today,

She smiled at me.

So what was my reason?

It made me smile back.

Next what are three beautiful things I saw in nature or in my surroundings?

What was the reason I found those three things beautiful in nature or my surroundings?

What was the reason I found those three things beautiful in nature or my surroundings?

For example,

The beautiful purple lavender I saw,

It made me relax and feel connected to mother nature.

Finally what are three beautiful things in general?

What was the reason that I found those three things beautiful today?

For me,

Sweet unique learners,

It's sharing this gratitude list.

Why?

Because inside timer is an amazing platform that has changed my life and hopefully it gives you the same love as well.

And a little tip before we go,

Which I sometimes forget myself,

When feeling down,

Go back to your gratitude list and look back on what you've written.

Namaste.

Enjoyed this quite a bit. A different format than my own gratitude journal, but I like it and plan to give your version a try just for a fresh perspective if nothing else. It's still gratitude either way. 😊 Thank you for sharing this wonderful practice with us here. I see you and the light within you. Be well. 🀲🏻❀🀲🏻
