Was du lernen wirst
This course will introduce you to the practice of mantra meditation - the use of a spoken syllable, phrase, or short prayer as a point of mindful focus. This is a unique approach to meditation as it adds another element (our voice) to the session, which is perfect for those of us with busy minds wanting assistance focusing on the present moment or with calming anxiety and anger. Beginners will find the approach easy to begin and super accessible and experienced meditators will discover a new way to approach the present moment. Each session will introduce you to a new mantra and way to use it to practice, as well as discuss the philosophical and spiritual implications of the words and the reasons behind how and why it will benefit your journey. By the end of this course, you will have a collection of mantras and associated practices to use as a part of your daily meditation sessions, or in response to life stress and challenges. I look forward to seeing you in the first session!

Lektion 1
Be Here Now
This session introduces the 'be here now' mantra, discussing the way it can point us directly to the present moment, as well as using it to provide an overview of some of the different ways mantras can be used in practice.
Lektion 2
Tat Tvam Asi
This session introduces the 'tat tvam asi' mantra, using it to discuss the concept of non-duality. Translated to 'I am that', or 'the knower, the knowing, and the known are one', this mantra points us directly to the inherent and inseparable relationship between the observer and observed.
Lektion 3
Who Am I?
This session introduces the 'who am I?' mantra, discussing how this simple question can be used to point us directly towards some of the deepest teachings and truths available to all meditators.
Lektion 4
Ham-Sa
This session introduces the 'hum-sa' mantra, using it as a lead into the Tantra practice of 'entrainment' which is the simultaneous use of multiple points of mindful focus to best occupy a busy mind: mantra, visualization, breathwork, and movement.
Lektion 5
Om Mani Padme Hum
This session introduces the 'om mani padme hum' mantra, using it to teach the use of mala beads (or fingers) as a meditation tool. You say the mantra, take a breath and focus on a bead, then you move to the next until the set is done.
Lektion 6
Om
This session introduces the 'om' mantra, using it to discuss the connected nature of all things, the 'sound of the universe' and its relationship to the beautiful practice of chanting.
Lektion 7
Let It Go And Just Feel
This session introduces the 'let it go and just feel' mantra, using it to review the practices from the previous sessions and to discuss how wisdom and intuitive guidance can arise during our practice.
