Hello,
I'm Diana and I want to welcome you to this meditation,
Welcoming spring,
A return to growth.
Find yourself a spot where you can be undisturbed for a little while.
Somewhere where you can set your phone or device down,
Pop your earphones in and get comfortable.
Perhaps you want to sit with your back supported and your feet flat on the floor.
Or maybe you'd rather put your feet up.
Go with whatever feels best to you today.
If you'd rather lie down,
That's totally fine as well.
Ideally,
Choose a place where you don't usually sleep,
So that it's easier to stay awake throughout this meditation.
Make sure that you're warm enough.
Maybe grab a cozy blanket if you need one.
And then,
Let yourself settle in and allow my voice to gently guide you.
I'd like to invite you to close your eyes when you're ready and begin to drop into this moment.
Notice how your body feels.
Become aware of any thoughts floating around.
And then,
Bring your attention to your breath.
There's no need to change anything.
Just notice your breathing.
Feel the cool air coming in through your nose as you breathe.
Breathe in.
And the warm air leaving as you breathe out.
Feel your body as it is today.
Winter has passed through you in its own way.
There may have been stillness,
Reflection,
Or rest.
And now,
Something begins to shift.
Not loudly.
Not all at once.
But quietly.
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Imagine each inhale carrying a subtle freshness.
Like cool spring air touching your skin in the early morning.
And each exhale releasing what no longer needs to be carried from winter.
You are not rushing into growth.
You are allowing it.
Bring your awareness to your lower belly.
This space of creation,
Renewal,
And quiet potential.
Imagine here a small seed resting in dark,
Nourishing soil.
This seed has not been idle.
It has been preparing.
Gathering strength.
Waiting for the right conditions.
Just like you.
Now imagine the soil beginning to warm.
Softening and making space.
The seed does not force itself to grow.
It responds.
Very gently it begins to open.
Not all at once.
Just enough.
A small movement.
A subtle expansion.
Feel that within yourself.
Where in your life is something ready to grow?
Even just a little.
No pressure to act.
Just awareness.
Awareness.
Bring your attention to your heart.
Imagine a soft green light there.
The color of new leaves.
Fresh growth.
Quiet life.
With each inhale that light expands slightly.
With each exhale it settles,
Rooted,
And steady.
Growth does not mean doing more.
It means allowing more life to move through you.
You might gently say to yourself,
I grow in my own time.
I trust small beginnings.
I allow gentle expansion.
Let these words settle softly.
Spring does not arrive in full bloom.
It arrives in whispers.
In small signs.
In quiet courage.
Feel your spine steady and supportive.
Like a stem growing upward while roots deepen below.
You are allowed to grow slowly.
You are allowed to take your time.
You are allowed to begin again.
Gently.
When you feel ready,
Start coming back to the here and now.
Back into your body.
Back into the room.
Back into your awareness.
Take up space again in the world around you.
This moment is yours.
As you return to the present,
Allow yourself to say yes to the good feelings that are still with you.
That sense of peace,
Joy,
And calm.
Take a deep breath in and slowly let it go.
When you're ready.
With your eyes still closed,
Notice what you can hear around you.
Notice how your body feels.
The surface beneath you.
Where your feet are resting.
The feeling of your clothes against your skin.
Start to move just a little.
Move your fingers a little and wiggle your toes a bit.
Roll your shoulders.
And gently move your head from side to side.
Let yourself slowly become more and more present.
Welcome these calm,
Joyful,
And comforting feelings to stay with you.
Today and beyond.
Take one more deep breath and let it go when you're ready.
And when the moment feels right,
Gently open your eyes.
Take a bit of time before you start moving.
Stay seated for a moment.
Look around the room.
Notice a few things near you.
Take a moment before moving on with your day.
What feels like it is wanting to grow in your life right now?
Not what should grow,
But what feels naturally ready.
If you feel like it,
You could explore in your journal the following questions.
What's beginning to stir within me?
Where do I feel a sense of readiness even if it's small?
Or what would growth look like for me right now?
And another question to explore could be,
What support or nourishment do I need for this next season?
Let this be a small beginning.
Growth does not need to be big or loud.
It's good to be real.
Thank you for joining me today.
And I wish you a lovely rest of your day.
