Hello,
I'm Diana and I want to welcome you to this meditation.
Midday reset,
Release stress and refocus.
Wherever you are in your day,
Take this moment for yourself.
Perhaps you've been busy.
Perhaps your mind has been running from one thing to the next.
Or perhaps you simply feel that you need a little space to breathe.
For the next few minutes,
You don't need to do anything.
Just pause.
Find a comfortable position.
You can sit.
Or,
If you have somewhere suitable,
You can choose to lie down.
Allow your hands to rest comfortably.
And gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in.
And slowly breathe out And again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw relax.
Allow your hands to become loose.
And feel the support beneath you bring your awareness to your body.
Notice your feet.
Your legs.
Your hips.
Your abdomen.
Your chest.
Your shoulders.
Your arms.
Your hands.
Your neck.
Your face.
Notice your whole body.
You don't need to change anything.
Simply notice.
Now notice your breathing.
Just a gentle movement of your breath.
In.
And out.
With every exhalation.
Allow yourself to let go of whatever already happened today.
You don't need to carry the morning into this moment.
It has happened.
It is complete.
You are here.
Now.
Imagine that you're standing beside a clear,
Gently flowing stream.
The water moves steadily around smooth stones.
You dip your hands into the cool water.
And as you lift them out,
Imagine washing away the tension you've collected during the day.
The pressure.
Of rushing.
The little frustrations.
The thoughts that have been circling around your mind.
Let the water carry them away.
You don't need to solve them right now.
You don't need to think about them.
Just let them go.
Take another slow breath in.
And breathe out.
Feel a little more space inside you.
A little more room to think.
A little more room to breathe.
Bring one hand gently to your heart or your abdomen.
Feel the warmth of your hand.
Take a moment to remember.
You don't have to rush through your entire day.
You can move through it one moment at a time.
You can pause.
You can breathe.
You can choose where to place your attention.
And you can begin again at any moment ask yourself quietly.
What do I need for the rest of today?
Don't search for an answer.
Just notice what comes to you.
Perhaps you need patience.
Perhaps energy.
Perhaps focus.
Perhaps kindness towards yourself.
Whatever arises,
Allow it to be enough.
Take one deeper breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Notice your body again.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Notice the sounds around you.
Begin to gently move your fingers.
And your toes.
Roll your shoulders if that feels good.
Take one final breath in.
And breathe out.
Carry this pause with you.
You don't have to return to your day exactly as you left it.
You can return a little calmer.
A little clear a little more present.
And when you feel ready.
.
.
You can open your eyes.
Your midday reset is complete.
