Practice traditional Kirtan call-and-response chanting with this live recording. After a quick introduction and instruction, Adrienne will give the chant to you with the intention that you repeat it back along with the recorded live audience. The chant is given in the Bhakti tradition, using the mantra as an object of meditation, to focus on and repeatedly return to. "Om mani padme hum" is a classic Tibetan Buddhist mantra, often said to be the hum behind everything in the Himalayan region, where it originated. Often practiced out loud or silently to oneself, this six syllable mantra (as it is also known), is said to invoke powerful benevolent attention and an abundance of blessings.
