Hey it's Danny Collins and welcome to this meditation.
Gratitude isn't just a feeling,
It's a powerful practice that rewires our brains.
Psychologically,
Gratitude has been shown to boost mood,
Reduce anxiety and increase overall well-being.
It shifts our perspective,
Helping us focus on what's present and abundant rather than what's lacking.
When we cultivate gratitude,
We cultivate joy.
Bring your awareness to your heart center.
You might like to place a hand there,
Feeling the warmth and the gentle pulsation of your heartbeat.
Begin to breathe in and out of the heart.
As you do so,
Imagine your heart softening.
Begin to call to mind something or someone you're truly grateful for.
It could be something simple like the warmth of the sun on your skin,
The sound of laughter or the love of a dear friend.
Let this feeling of gratitude rise naturally without forcing it.
As you hold this feeling,
Let it expand from your heart.
Feel it fill your chest,
A golden light radiating from within.
Allow it to move through your entire body.
Notice how gratitude softens you.
Now think of something about yourself that you're grateful for.
Maybe it's your resilience,
Your kindness,
Your creativity,
Or the way you love others.
Breathe it in.
Let it fill you and emanate this golden light of gratitude so that it brightens up your day.
Gratitude reminds us that even in life's challenges,
There is so much beauty.
It shifts our focus from what's missing to what's already here,
From fear to love.
And when we live in gratitude,
We align with abundance because we recognize how truly rich our lives already are.
Take a few moments in silence now,
Simply resting in this energy,
Breathing in gratitude and breathing out joy.
As we close this practice,
Bring your hands together in front of your heart,
Meeting together as one in prayer position.
And bow your head in reverence to yourself and the conscious life you're creating.
When you're ready,
Lift your head with a soft smile.
Open your eyes with the intention to carry this gratitude forward throughout your day.
Thank you for being here with me.
I am so grateful for you.
Namaste
