This heart-opening meditation invites you into the sacred practice of Ho’oponopono — a simple yet profound Hawaiian prayer of forgiveness, release, and love. Through the power of these four phrases — I’m sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you, I love you — you’ll journey through three layers of healing: for yourself, for another, and for the collective. As you speak and repeat this sacred mantra, you’ll cleanse and restore energy, opening your heart and creating ripples of peace far beyond what you can see. The more you practice, the deeper the healing — within you and in the world around you. Let this meditation be a gentle guide back to love, reminding you of the power you hold to transform through compassion.

Hi,

I'm Daniel Collins and it is an honor to share this practice with you today.

Let's fully arrive in this moment.

Allow your body to soften,

Your mind to settle and your heart to open.

The Ho'oponopono prayer is a powerful Hawaiian practice of forgiveness and reconciliation.

A prayer of love,

Responsibility and release.

Through this simple yet profound practice,

We remember that healing starts within.

When we heal ourselves,

We create ripples of healing in the world around us.

The prayer has four parts.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

As we speak these words,

We cleanse and clear energy within ourselves,

Within our relationships and beyond.

Today,

We'll repeat this prayer three times for ourselves,

For another and for the collective.

Let's begin by offering this prayer inward.

Take a breath and place a hand over your heart.

Feeling the energy of your heart beating,

Feel the words wash over you.

Allow any guilt,

Fear,

Shame or self-judgment to soften and dissolve.

Really forgiving yourself for anything you've been holding on to.

I'll say each phrase and I invite you to gently repeat it.

I encourage you to speak the words out loud if you can,

But if you'd prefer to say it in your mind,

It's just as potent.

Repeating after me.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

One more time,

Let the words come from a place of tenderness and truth for yourself.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Take a breath in and slowly release.

Feel the lightness that comes with self-compassion.

Now,

Bring to mind someone you wish to offer healing to.

It could be someone you love,

Someone that's challenged you,

Someone that you've hurt,

Or maybe someone that's caused you pain.

You are not responsible for their healing,

But you can always choose to come from a place of love.

Let go of any expectation of how they'll receive this energy.

Just trust that love knows the way.

Repeating after me.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Breathe in and exhale any attachment for the peace in the act of offering love without needing a particular outcome.

Finally,

Let's expand this healing even further.

Imagine sending these words out touching every heart and every soul.

Picture the earth itself bathed in this vibration of forgiveness and love.

Let's say it together three times.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Feel the words embrace every being in every corner of existence.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

One last time with deep intention and boundless love.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Take a deep breath in and sigh it out through the mouth.

Know that your willingness to love,

To forgive and to heal makes a difference more than you may ever realize.

When you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to reality.

Returning with a heart wide open and a spirit deeply at peace.

Thank you for sharing this practice with me today.

Much love.

Namaste.
