So lucky to imagine a golden ribbon flowing from the bottom of your spine all the way up towards your crown.
With each inhalation just noticing that gentle movement of the breath moving the fabric all the way up towards your crown and all the way down.
If you get distracted and perhaps you will that's what happens to human minds gently coming back.
Nowhere to go,
Nothing to do,
Nobody to please,
Just simply tuning to that subtle movement of your breath and your ribbon.
You can make the color any color you like.
Noticing the shade of the color,
The way it moves,
The interplay between each inhalation and exhalation.
And if you do get distracted just gently coming back again and again.
This is a time you have set aside for yourself so inviting yourself to come back.
Tuning to those subtle movements of your breath and the fabric.
And then when you're ready you can gently release your concentration dissolving that image of the ribbon into that vast space of awareness and you can move on to next practice.
