Welcome to a meditation for Libra season,

A time ruled by Venus,

A planet of love,

Beauty,

And harmony.

Libra season encourages balance,

Peace,

And connection in all aspects of life.

You can use this meditation at any time during Libra season or any time you are looking to tap into the energy of Libra.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or laying down,

And adjust your body so that it is supported the next few minutes of this meditation.

Breathe in and out through your nose.

It may help to lift your shoulders up,

Back,

And down,

Opening up your chest,

Finding a neutral pelvis by imagining your belly button touching your spine without sucking your belly in.

Place your hands in a comfortable position and close your eyes gently.

As you continue to breathe,

Begin to let any thoughts or distractions go and allow yourself this present moment.

With your next inhale,

Bring your attention to the idea of balance.

Visualize a set of scales,

The symbol of Libra,

Gently dipping from side to side.

Each side represents different aspects of your life,

Rest,

Giving and receiving,

Self-care,

Care to others,

And work.

As you breathe in,

Imagine these scales finding equilibrium.

Feature all aspects of your life coming into harmony,

Steadying and balancing each breath.

As you continue to breathe,

Gently ask yourself,

Can I bring more balance into my relationships?

What areas of my life need more harmony?

How can I open my heart to both give and receive more freely?

Allow these questions to sit in your heart without needing immediate answers.

Trust that the answers will naturally unfold in its own time.

As we close this meditation,

Take a few more deep breaths,

Feeling balanced,

At ease,

And connected to your body and mind.

On your next inhale,

You can set an intention that all sentient beings can find this sense of balance and harmony.

On your next inhale,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and gently bring movement back into your body.

Open your eyes slowly,

Carrying a sense of calm and balance with you as you move on through the rest of your day and the rest of Libra season.
