Well,
Good morning to everyone.
So I have a singing bowl and I'll begin by playing the singing bowl at once,
Guide us through meditation,
And then at the end,
I will play the singing bowl three times as a way to call us back.
So let us begin.
So hearing and receiving this singing bowl is almost like a notification,
A reminder.
And you've all chosen to listen to the reminder of being here right now,
To pause,
To practice,
To choose to listen to the inner wisdom amidst so many external messages,
Practicing coming back to the middle way.
So let us come into our bodies,
Our posture,
The posture that feels relaxed yet alert and sustainable,
Nothing to force.
As we settle into this body,
A bit more being curious about any sensations that are here right now,
Knowing that all things arise and fall away if we allow them to.
The laughter knows no any particular sensations in this body,
Particularly the lower part as it's seated,
Grounded,
Connected,
And then bringing awareness to the uplift that comes from this spine that allows us to move through space the way we do.
So this is the container that we're establishing.
Now shifting awareness to the breath,
Wherever you notice it and it feels natural,
And either choosing to let the breath be natural or perhaps breathing in and out equally to settle.
This is your practice,
This moment,
Your breath and allowing the ease from the breath to arise,
Perhaps recognizing that the breath breathes the body.
So being with the inhale and the exhale,
Without judgment,
Without forcing,
Perhaps with a lens of kindness towards this breath that carries us throughout the day,
The breath that regulates us just by deepening the exhale or deepening the inhale.
Feeling the heaviness of the body as it receives the breath,
Nowhere to go and nothing to do in this moment.
Perhaps allowing yourself to feel the fullness on the inhale and the sliding out on the exhale.
A sense of nourishing on the inhale and soothing on the exhale.
And using those words can be a useful tool,
A reminder that we can come back to this moment breath by breath.
Each breath,
Each moment just as important as the next.
Each moment,
Each breath an opportunity to be here and now.
I invite you to take several more moments of being right here quietly with the breath.
Then I will bring the singing bowl three times.
No need to hurry.
No need to anticipate.
The practice calls us back to right here in this moment.
So the invitation is to offer moments throughout our day where feeling the body through breathing can be a great tool to help us find a bit more ease amidst the pace that unfolds.
Thank you so much for this opportunity and may you all be safe and well and may all sentient beings be safe and well.
Www.
Mooji.
