A Poem To The Gnome

Gnomes are mythical creatures that inhabit the earth and tend to nature. But I believe they are certainly more than mythical. Gnomes are benevolent and loving beings—nature’s caretakers, if you will. This recording is a poem I wrote to honor gnomes and welcome them to my garden. The background music, Welcome Gnome, is a song I recently wrote and recorded. Brightest blessings to all.

Throughout the night these lights will burn. A safe hearth is all we ask in return. May this candle give you light for all the tasks you complete at night. We offer you crystals and shiny things and wish you the magic that each of them brings. You tend to nature and never tire. Your presence here does truly inspire. Come into our garden to play and to rest. Give to our plants nurture and make them their best. Winter, Spring, Summer, And fall you bring forth rains and make trees grow tall. You dear gnomes are welcome here. Share our space without any fear. Protect and guard us in all that we do and know that each day we celebrate you. Blessed be.
