The Cosmic Breath

The Cosmic Breath is a long version of a meditation I created as an offering for this year's virtual Burning Man. A sweet lullaby supports this guided meditation to the edge of the expanding universe and back with each breath. You will be transported on a mind-expanding journey. Contemplating the universe in this way is great for creativity and flow as well as relaxation and deep sleep. Enjoy!

Wandering the Playa at night and looking up, You can see a riverbed of stars, Our galaxy stretching across the sky. Take a deep, Cosmic breath. As you inhale, I invite you to stretch your consciousness beyond our galaxy all the way to the edge of the expanding universe. As you exhale, Come back to your body. That is one long breath. Experience each breath as a journey to the edge of the universe and back. The mind expands and rolls back with the breath in cosmic waves. And even though it's a long distance in a short period of time, Don't rush. Take a look around and allow yourself to be awestruck by the profound beauty and elegant design. As you inhale, Take a deep, Cosmic breath.
