Welcome back.
In this meditation we will use shamanic dreaming practices to meet our higher selves as represented by the Sun in our natal charts,
However they appear to you.
We all have the Sun and its home sign Leo in our natal charts.
Even if you don't have any planets in Leo,
All of our lives are strongly influenced by our Sun sign.
Its popularity isn't a mistake.
The fact that when you ask someone what's your sign and they almost always respond with their Sun sign is a testament to the power of the Sun in our lives.
The Sun in astrology is associated with our higher selves,
Who we strive to be in this lifetime.
The desire to align with your soul's purpose,
What you're here on earth to illuminate for yourself and others,
Our connection to the universal consciousness,
The father in some traditions,
And to our crown chakra.
As one of the luminaries along with the moon,
The Sun brings light to earth and is responsible for life as we know it.
If you were born during the daytime you may feel a stronger connection to your Sun sign than your moon sign.
Even if it feels difficult to connect with solar or Sun energies,
They're there.
We all have a relationship to our higher selves whether it's conscious or not.
There's a luminous core within all of us that sources from a pure truth and love and our higher self guides us toward expressing this core within this lifetime.
We all have a consciousness that requires our care and attention,
Moral standards that strongly influence how we live and operate on the earth.
Where the Sun is in our natal chart can help us understand what sort of energies to focus on to act more in alignment with what our higher selves want to express.
How you connect with the Sun or your higher self certainly will be influenced by where it is in your chart and what kind of communication it's in with other planets,
But it's there helping you along on your life journey.
Think of a time when you weren't sure what path to take and the universe gave you a sign or some kind of synchronicity that reassured you of your direction.
Maybe it was a sudden event in your life that felt bad at the time but all them ultimately worked out for the best.
Our higher selves were at play there.
Now we're going to use shamanic dreaming to come into contact with our higher selves.
Whatever you witness here is what you are meant to see.
There is no right way.
Relax,
Taking several deep breaths in and out together.
Breathe in,
Hold,
Release.
Come into the present moment and into your body.
Let go of outside thoughts.
Breathe in again and to wherever you're feeling the most sensation in your body and let it out with a sigh.
Last time,
Breathe in together,
Hold at the top,
Let it go.
Allow your mind to make space for this visualization to happen.
Set an intention to meet your higher self.
Hold it in your heart.
Breathe into it and then let it go.
Imagine you're in a jungle.
It's daytime and the sun is bright in the sky.
There are no clouds here to obstruct it.
Take a look around you.
What do you see?
What kind of plants are in the jungle?
Are there any animals?
Take a look down at your feet and see them on the earth.
There is energy coming up from the earth to meet you and energy coming down from the sky doing the same.
If you pay very close attention,
You can feel where they meet and how the earth seems to ground the electric energy of the sun through your physical body.
Keep looking around.
What colors are there?
It's humid here like a rainforest.
You sense all the life around you,
All of it dependent on the energy of the sun to survive,
Including you.
You walk around a bit,
Observing.
As you turn a corner,
You notice a pathway cut through the jungle.
It's been worn down by animals and humans over many years.
You begin to follow it through the jungle.
What do you notice as you walk?
Is the pathway clear or are there obstacles to get around?
You soon arrive at a clearing and look up.
A short distance away is a stone pyramid.
What kind of stone is it?
Do you feel drawn to it?
You continue toward it,
Finally reaching its large base.
There are stairs leading up to the top of the pyramid.
You begin climbing them one step at a time.
How does it feel as you begin to rise above the tree line?
What's the air like here?
What's the energy like on this pyramid?
Once you reach the top,
You see that there is a flat space,
Large enough for two people.
You take a seat.
Close your eyes and meditate in this space.
You are luminous,
A being of light,
Made of stardust.
Stars,
Just like the sun,
Forge the atoms that construct your body as it is now.
You are,
And always have been,
A part of the oneness of everything.
Can you feel your connection to the Universal Consciousness?
You are the universe come into form to know itself.
You are supremely divine.
Every action you've taken has been divinely guided.
Even the parts of your life that have been so painful.
Even the parts of your life where you feel that you've acted in shameful ways.
In order for the universe to know itself,
It has to know all ranges of expression.
That isn't a path to not act with integrity,
But a portal to understanding yourself and others more deeply.
Think of a time where you felt an intuitive draw to take action,
And think of how it turned out.
Spend some time meditating on times in your life where you felt connected to God,
To the universe.
As you come out of these memories,
Still atop the pyramid,
You notice your higher self sitting across from you.
What do they look like?
What's their energy like?
Greet this part of you that has been leading all of your decisions since day one of your life.
This part of you that chose this incarnation.
Your higher self has a message for you.
What do they say?
Take some time to listen to them.
Even if they don't say anything,
Their presence will have meaning for you.
I'll be silent for a while to give you time and space to receive this message,
And ask any questions you may have to your higher self.
It's now time to leave this space.
Thank your higher self for coming to meet you.
Know that you can come back here anytime,
Or tap into this energy whenever you want.
Make your way back down the pyramid,
Through the jungle,
To the same place you came in.
Has the path changed at all?
Does the jungle or the sky look or feel any different now?
Come back to your body.
Take a deep breath.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take some time to let the messages you receive from your higher self sink in.
Maybe write down anything that feels important to remember.
And don't forget,
You are stardust.
You are the universe choosing to experience life through this specific body,
With these specific experiences,
At this exact time.
It is divine.
