This meditation is one of a 10-part series focusing on connecting with the astrological archetypes of the planets. In this guided visualization, you will meet the Crone archetype of the planet Saturn, however, they appear to you. You will reflect on past decisions, what motivated them, and cause and effect to learn how Saturn shows up uniquely for you. My planetary meditations are based on traditional/ancient astrology practices--they may not align with all schools of astrological knowledge.

Welcome back.

In this meditation,

We will be using shamanic journeying practices to meet the crone archetype of Saturn,

However they appear to you.

We all have Saturn in its two home signs,

Capricorn,

And in traditional astrology,

Aquarius,

In our birth charts.

Even if you don't have any planets in Capricorn or Aquarius,

Their energy still exists in your natal chart and influences a part of your life.

In Roman mythology,

Saturn is the god of time and agriculture,

The father of Jupiter and other major gods and goddesses.

He was often depicted with a scythe ready to reap crops that have come to harvest.

In Greek mythology,

Saturn's equivalent god is Kronos.

In the solar system,

Saturn is the ringed planet,

Sixth from the sun,

And the last of the planets we can observe without a telescope.

Before the discovery of Uranus in 1781,

Saturn was the last of the planets considered in the natal chart.

Saturn in our charts describes how we deal with boundaries,

Limitations,

Long-term lessons and consequences,

Where we need to be careful to operate with the highest level of integrity,

And the legacies we leave after our lives are over.

Even if it feels difficult to connect with Saturn-like energies,

They're there.

We naturally have a relationship to the Krone archetype,

Or any of the many archetypes that Saturn correlates with.

Think of a time where you faced a consequence for an action you took.

It doesn't have to be a negative result.

All of our actions have consequences,

Whether good or bad.

Even remaining inactive has consequences.

Think of the idea of the butterfly effect,

That even the smallest actions can have large results.

Saturn teaches us that we inevitably cause ripples in the world just by existing,

And that our intention and integrity matter in how these ripples change the world.

These sorts of consequences and lessons are Saturn at play.

The Krone archetype is a wise old woman who intuitively understands these Saturn lessons.

By tapping into her,

We can come into deep relationship to our personal Saturn placement.

The part of you that takes your life experiences and crafts deep understanding from them is also related to how Saturn is placed in your natal chart.

How you connect to Saturn,

Or your inner Krone,

Will certainly be influenced by where it is in your chart and what kind of communication it's in with other planets.

It's there,

Helping you along in your life journey.

We're going to use shamanic dreaming to come into contact with your inner Krone,

Your own personal Saturn expression.

I want you to relax,

Taking several deep breaths in and out together.

Breathe in,

Hold,

And release.

Come into the present moment and into your body.

Let go of outside thoughts.

Breathe in again,

Into wherever you're feeling the most sensation in your body,

And let it out with a sigh.

Last time.

Breathe in together,

Hold at the top,

And let it go.

Allow your mind to make space for this visualization to happen.

Set an intention to meet your inner Krone.

Hold it in your heart.

Breathe into it,

And then let it go.

Close your eyes and imagine you're in an old-growth forest.

Your feet are firmly planted on the ground.

Ancient trees tower around you,

Their canopies blocking out a significant amount of the sky overhead.

Look around you in the forest.

What do you see?

What is the weather like?

What time of day is it?

What season is it here?

Do you notice any other animals,

Plants,

Beings?

What does the energy feel like in this place?

You feel the air on your skin.

There is a sense of magic here,

Seeming to radiate most strongly off the oldest of the trees.

You walk over and ask if you can touch one of them.

What happens?

What does it feel like to touch one of them?

After observing here for a while,

You notice a pathway through the forest.

You start to follow it.

What does this path look and feel like?

Are there any obstacles in the way,

Or is it completely clear?

What does the energy feel like as you walk through this old forest?

Keep noticing what's around you.

The path leads to a cave.

As you get closer,

You notice the cave is made of obsidian.

It's black,

Reflecting the light around it.

Inside the cave,

You see a fire burning.

This light reflects off the walls of the cave,

Illuminating your way into it.

You make your way over to the cave.

First you observe the outside.

What does it look like?

How does it feel?

Is there any energy coming from it?

You make your way inside,

Coming to sit by the fire.

It feels welcoming.

What does it look like inside the cave?

You turn away from the fire to face the wall of the cave closest to you.

In the reflective surface of the obsidian,

You see your own reflection.

Then you begin to see images.

You see your life playing out,

Stopping and starting in different places where your actions made a big difference in your own life and the lives of others.

What do you see?

You see your regrets and your pride.

You see where you acted in alignment with your highest level of integrity and where you didn't.

These visions aren't made to make you feel guilty,

But to show you how much of a difference it makes.

You see times where you didn't do or say something and that inactivity had its own consequences.

These are all lessons for you to learn how to respond in the future.

How do you feel?

How does it feel?

How does it feel?

What memories seem to impact you the most?

You look away from the wall and notice there is another being sitting in the cave next to you.

This is your inner crone,

Your inner wisdom,

The one who keeps track of your longest of life lessons and helps you to gain understanding and intuition for how your actions affect yourself and others in this lifetime.

What do they look like?

What does their energy feel like?

Your inner crone has something they want to tell you.

Listen to what they have to say.

I'll be silent for a while to give you time and space to receive this message and ask any questions you may have to your inner crone.

It's now time to leave this space.

You thank your inner crone for coming to meet you.

Know that you can come back here anytime or tap into this energy whenever you want.

You make your way back the same way you came into the cave,

Back to the part of the forest you arrived in.

Has the path changed at all?

Come back into your body.

Take a deep breath.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take some time to let the messages you received from your inner crone sink in.

Maybe write down something that feels important to remember.

You are a complex being navigating a complex life that is so much more entangled with the web of universal consciousness than we could ever fully comprehend.

The crone part of you has a deep understanding of this and can help you to navigate your decisions.

Thank you for going on this journey with me.

I'm wishing you peaceful ease for the rest of your day from my corner of the universe.
