Welcome back.
In this meditation,
We will use shamanic dreaming techniques to meet the warrior archetype of the planet Mars,
However he appears to you.
We all have Mars and his two home signs,
Scorpio and Aries,
In our birth charts,
Even if you don't have any planets in those signs.
In Roman mythology,
Mars is the god of war and the protector of Rome.
As a warrior,
Mars has both offensive and defensive capabilities.
Within ourselves,
Our Mars placements color how we protect and assert ourselves within our lives.
It shows what we're willing to stand up for and what we will fight to preserve or protect.
In this way,
Mars is passion and bravery,
Anger,
And audacity.
Even if you felt disconnected from Mars type energies,
I can guarantee there are places in your life where you have displayed them,
Even unconsciously.
There have also been times in your life when other people have displayed Mars traits toward or around you.
Recall a time when you felt protected.
Maybe when you or someone else stood up for you when you felt you were being attacked.
Whatever comes to mind is correct.
That's Mars energy.
So we're going to use shamanic dreaming to come into contact with your inner warrior,
Your own personal Mars expression.
I want you to relax,
Taking several deep breaths in and out together.
Breathe in,
Hold,
Release.
Come into the present moment and into your body.
Let go of outside thoughts.
Breathe in again and to wherever you're feeling the most sensation in your body.
Let it out with a sigh.
Last time,
Breathe in together,
Hold at the top,
Let it go.
Allow your mind to make space for this visualization to happen.
Set an intention to meet your inner warrior.
Hold it in your heart.
Breathe into it and then let it go.
Imagine you are in an open field.
There are trees on the border of this field and mountains in the distance.
Feel your feet in the grass on the earth.
What time of day is it?
What does the sky look like?
What kind of weather?
What sorts of things do you notice in the environment?
Plants,
Insects,
Birds?
What sounds do you hear?
In front of you,
You notice that a path has been worn into the earth.
You start walking on it,
Heading toward the tree line.
You feel every step of the way under your feet.
As you turn a corner,
A stream appears on your right side.
Stop there for a moment and look into the water.
Stepping in and feeling the rushing water on your feet.
Do you notice anything here?
You step back out onto the path once again,
Following both the path and the stream into the woods.
What's the path like?
Are there any fallen trees in the way or is it clear?
Is it easy to walk or does it feel difficult for any reason?
Trees surround you on either side.
What kind of trees are they?
What season is it here in the forest?
You reach a clearing where you find a fire pit.
There's a large fire burning and places to sit around it in a circle.
You take a seat.
The fire you see represents the fire of life that burns inside of you.
All of your passions,
Everything you care for deeply,
All of the times you've protected yourself and what you love,
Every risk you've taken.
Stare into the fire and see scenes from your life dance in the flames.
You have been so brave.
Think of all the times you've stepped forward into uncertainty,
Into a new venture without knowing whether you would succeed or fail.
Think of your tenacity,
All that you have survived to get to where you are now.
You are a warrior.
Looking up from the fire you see a figure is with you now.
This is your inner warrior,
Your inner Mars that has come to be with you here.
What do they look like?
Greet this part of you that has given you so much.
Express your gratitude.
Your inner warrior has a message for you.
Listen to what they have to say.
I'll be silent for a while to give you time and space to receive this message and ask any questions you may have to your inner warrior.
It's now time to leave this space.
Thank your inner warrior for coming to meet you.
Know that you can come back here anytime or tap into this energy whenever you want.
Make your way back the same way you came into the forest,
Back to the meadow you arrived in.
Has the path changed at all?
Follow the stream and then back around the corner.
Come back into your body.
Take a deep breath.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take some time to let the messages you received from your inner warrior sink in.
Maybe write down anything that feels important to remember.
You are strong and you are loved.
Thank you for going on this journey with me.
I'm wishing you peaceful ease for the rest of your day from my corner of the universe.
