Thank you so much for being here.
My name is Kari.
We're going to meditate together,
So get your sweet cheeks comfortable.
On your meditation seat or your chair.
Or the greyhound.
Whatever feels right for you.
Start to come into that place of stillness if you can.
Place of quiet.
And if you are walking or moving while you listen,
Then bring yourself into more of a state of quiet on the inside.
So you're focused on your thoughts,
You're focused on my voice and how I'm going to guide you for the next course.
20 minutes or so.
So.
.
.
If possible,
Close your eyes.
I'll come to a soft.
.
.
Relaxed gaze if your eyes are open.
And with your eyes closed.
Start to let go of everything else around you.
Part of your practice.
Is to become more contained with your focus.
So let go of the noises out there in the world.
I can hear chickens,
I can hear people moving their garbage bins.
All sorts of different noises.
Just let them start to fade.
And bring the majority of your attention on to the way that you're breathing.
Notice your breath.
Feel your breath.
Imagine that you're catching a wave of your breath like a little surfer dude inside of your own body.
And you're following the inhale.
Just like a wave.
And then exhale.
And you're right in this circular.
Ocean wave.
Of your breath.
Try and make it longer and slower.
Just to bring more of a sense of inner peace.
Into your focus.
And also into your nervous system.
So with that longer,
Slower,
Deeper breath.
You're starting to.
.
.
Communicate with a parasympathetic nervous system that All is well.
This is your time to be calm and quiet.
And at peace.
And you'll start to notice like a softness taking place in your body.
Like that warm,
Soft,
Cozy blanket starting to.
.
.
Wrap around your shoulders.
A feeling of stillness and inner peace.
Feels cozy.
See if you can actually Let your out-breath,
Your exhales feel like a sigh.
Just for a few breaths.
Like her sweet sigh.
Like this feels really good,
Kind of sigh.
Like when you take your shoes off at the end of a long day,
That feeling of Huh.
And then once you're there with me.
.
.
Try and notice.
The shell.
Of your body.
The container.
Of that which holds your spirit.
Can you feel the outside of your feet?
See if you can pull your attention.
I'll make it easier for you,
Make it more specific.
See if you can feel the outside of your feet,
Just the outside of your feet,
The outside of your ankles.
Feel the outside of your lower leg.
Maybe depending on what you're wearing,
You can feel the air around you on your skin and that helps you to Feel the sensitivity of it more.
Or maybe you're covered in clothing,
But maybe you can feel the clothing.
Can you feel?
Your trousers,
Can you feel?
Your socks,
Can you feel?
Try and feel just the outside,
The surface of your skin,
And that small space in between.
Your skin and the rest of the world.
See if you can feel.
The skin on your back.
Your clothes on your back.
Can you feel the weight of your clothes on your shoulders?
The outline of your container,
Your face.
Skin on your face.
Top of your head and your skull.
All the way down your arms to your fingertips.
It's a feeling.
You can feel yourself.
Right?
Your skin is containing.
Creating this image of who you are.
But what if we changed that?
What if you allowed yourself to feel as if you were part of everything?
And there was no container.
So that you could really get that sense of union.
Let me help you.
Using your imagination.
Imagine that.
You just took off all of your clothes.
And you're getting into the shower.
It could be your shower that you see in your mind to make things easier.
Your walls,
Your shampoos and soaps and things like that.
That familiarity helps you to Imagine.
Because you're pulling also from memory.
Imagine.
That you're closing your eyes in the shower.
And you're allowing the water to run down the front of your face.
As warm,
Soothing water.
Down the back of your head.
And you can feel yourself lifting your face up to the showerhead.
Let it run down the sides of your head.
Adding a little bit of magic and more creation.
Let yourself feel.
Like the water that is coming from your shower.
Is very light.
High vibrational to mature.
Of light.
Energy.
Who warms like the sun.
This mixture.
Imagine it's warm,
But also really Relaxing.
Like a feeling of.
.
.
Honey.
Running down the top of your head.
The back of your head.
And as it does so,
As it starts to touch.
Your skin.
It changes.
The transparency.
Of your body,
It starts to dilute,
Separate as if your cells are starting to change and open.
And separate.
Like you were becoming the invisible man,
So to speak.
Create this image in your mind.
See it.
This lovely warm light.
Hitting the top of your head.
And as it does so,
You start to pixelate.
You start to.
.
.
Open.
It comes down your face,
Down onto your chest.
Feel it rolling down over your shoulders and down into your arms.
Your elbows.
All the way down to your fingertips.
And as this light caresses your skin,
Your shell.
It changes it.
Transforming it.
So that it becomes.
More transparent.
Mark open It runs down your back.
Down your hip.
Down your legs.
And as you look down at your feet,
You can watch as your cough,
Start to just disappear.
Uh feet start to disappear.
Your toes.
Until.
.
.
You still feel the light.
You can sense it.
But now it feels as if it's just.
.
.
All over you.
As you have no container,
It's inside of you.
Running through you.
And the more light that falls on you here in the shower.
The more you start to feel a lightness within yourself.
Like a floaty sensation.
You're no longer heavy and dense.
And no longer physical.
You're just this light.
Particles.
And these particles can Spread.
Past the bathroom.
Your openness has no bounds.
It opens past.
The container of your home.
Imagine you as light.
Start to go up.
And a bird flies by and.
.
.
You just travel through it like light.
But for those split seconds of Union,
You become the bird.
You can feel its wings.
It's fly.
It's heartbeat.
And just like that.
You keep moving through the experience.
Traveling through the trees.
Traveling soon.
Sky.
The space.
Extending even more.
Into the sand.
Going into the ocean.
And everything that you come in contact with as light,
You become.
You become the sand.
You become.
Tuition.
You become.
One with the child running and giggling and laughing.
On the beach making sandcastles.
You become the old man working behind the counter.
In the flower shop.
You feel his aches and his pains,
His creaky old bones.
You feel the beat of his heart.
And you keep going.
Your light shines through a dark,
Dim walk.
In the park.
Its vast little heartbeat,
Its tongue wagging.
You float.
Through.
A cemetery.
And through all.
That is there.
You just float all the way through.
Every type.
Of life on.
Every type of object.
You can become.
Long ways.
In this form.
You can become one with your lover.
One with.
Your children.
You can even become one with that cranky,
Person in your life that causes you discomfort.
And through all of it there is a pulse.
Whether it's a heartbeat or an energy pulse in the trees.
In the ocean.
In the sky.
Or whether it's a heartbeat in the dog,
The old man,
The child.
That same pulse is in all that is.
And you can feel it and be all of it.
When you take away.
Your shower.
And if we imagine that your shell isn't It's not just this physical thing,
It's a metaphorical thing.
This thing that separates you from all that is,
Then you can allow yourself to see the message in this meditation.
And that message is that You really are an aspect of all that is.
If you just let yourself feel it and see it.
Come back to your shower.
Bring your focus back to looking at your feet.
See your feet appear there once again,
Your calves,
Looking up,
Your thighs,
Your body.
Look down at your hands and your arms,
Everything back into its container back into its physical beautiful self.
Take a second and see if you can feel your heartbeat in there.
Just a reminder of that heartbeat in everything that you can touch.
And then very slowly you can completely shut off your imagination and open your eyes and come back into This moment.
This space.
Namaste my friends.
