Are you ready?
Are you ready?
To meditate with Corrie.
Make sure that you're in.
Somewhere comfortable.
Like your bed.
Or maybe you're on the sofa with a cozy blanket.
Or maybe you're in a really soft,
Comfy chair.
And you're cuddling your teddy.
Or maybe you're having to tidy your bedroom,
But we won't talk about that while you listen.
Preferably,
Preferably,
You'll lay down in your bed.
And you're ready to go to sleep.
That's the bestest place to be.
Heidi.
Cherry.
VEYA were hanging out at Tukko.
And Leo's house.
They were very bored.
Wow.
I say they were bored,
But.
.
.
There wasn't much silence.
Cherry had been watching the World Cup Soccer.
Oh my goodness.
She was going on and on and on about that tall Viking woman.
With the ponytail.
Um,
She didn't know his name and nobody else did.
And um.
.
.
She was very much into soccer at the moment.
Very much into soccer.
Oh my gosh!
OMG!
The goals,
The goals that some of these.
.
.
Classic football.
That some of these football players some of them some of them are just amazing I mean oh my god and what's that one called now?
What's that one called now?
Oh!
Bellingham I think it is.
The one that plays for England.
It's amazing.
It's absolutely amazing.
Gosh,
He scores so many goals.
Tooka said.
I need to go pee.
He went out.
Through the dog door,
Onto the bike garden.
And decided.
It was time.
To take up.
His magical stone.
For those of you that don't know.
That could possibly be listening to this story for the first time.
Took her.
Has a magical star.
He found it on time.
It's white and it's got golden veins all over it.
And every time he holds it up to the sun or the moon.
The magical light from above.
It gives him one wish.
Just follow along.
Went over to the Buddha statue.
Where he always buries his stone and covers it up and hides it.
He digged into the earth next to his Buddha statue and then found his stone.
It was getting pretty late but there wasn't very much moonlight.
It was one of those half crescent moon kind of things.
But he thought,
I'll give it a try anyway.
He held the stone up to the moon.
Like magic.
His white stone.
Start to glow.
And then the veins.
The golden veins got all sparkly in the moonlight.
And damned.
His angel appeared in the stone.
As she was.
This tiny little angel.
Staring down at him.
Moving her wings gracefully back and forth.
You get one wish.
She said.
Just one wish.
Took a sad.
Oh,
You know my wishes so well,
My beautiful angel!
I still will!
I want to pee.
HUMAN!
Along with all of my friends in the kitchen.
Just like that.
Took her.
Was sad.
On a bench.
In a big.
Real.
Very big.
Very loud.
With a lot.
Of people.
He looked down at his clothes to try and figure out what had happened.
Couldn't think about what had happened.
Oh no,
It wasn't Sokka,
Was it?
Thought to himself.
You look down.
It wasn't soccer.
But it did have like.
.
.
A gym vest,
Like a gym tank top on.
That was black.
With a white trim around the sleeves and the neck.
And then his shorts were black.
Hmm.
He saw it.
These aren't shorts I would normally wear.
He thought to himself.
And then he looked down the bench and saw Leo.
Nivea.
Nighty!
And cherry.
All the way at the end.
Cherry was wearing a bright red leotard.
With long sleeves.
Heidi was wearing a purple one with long sleeves.
And Bea was wearing a sparkly white one.
With long sleeves.
Leo was wearing.
Navy blue shirts and tank top,
Just like Tucker's.
And then he looked around and realised all the noise,
That background noise that he was hearing.
Was coming from crowds and crowds and crowds of people.
And there was a girl.
On this.
Explore.
In front of them.
You realized.
It was like a gymnastics performance.
And the girl was running around with a ribbon.
Doing all these amazing somersaults and backsaults and flips.
You know,
He.
And all this stuff.
Double flips at one point.
She ran and did like a double twist and a flip up in the air and then landed.
Perfectly.
And took her gold.
He looked at Leo and said,
I don't know why we're here,
" Leo said.
And petrified.
I'm absolutely petrified.
Cherry,
All the way at the end,
Said,
I wish came true.
I've always wanted to run around with one of those ribbons.
Sokka cringed.
No.
He saw it.
Cherry Spot.
Heidi,
Stop the glasses.
Oh wow!
Let's see how this goes.
She had a book on her lap.
She was reading.
Wuthering heights seem very deep.
But she was loving it.
And damned.
Vea looked at her outfit and said,
Look like an angel love this leotard I never thought of buying leotards before.
I'm cheating!
Favorite.
Cherry said,
OMG,
Right?
Achoo!
Heidi just looked back down at her book and carried on reading as if to say she couldn't care less that they were there at the gymnastics place.
Is very into her book right now.
Real sad.
You don't have to do anything,
Do we?
Hopefully we can just watch.
And them.
This guy came over to them.
They figured out very shortly that the guy was their coach.
Took her.
He smacked his hands together.
You're up next.
Grab your ball.
I like balls,
Thought Tucker.
He likes to run and play with them and catch them.
And sometimes bite them.
He wasn't a dog right now.
He was a boy.
Well,
You know,
A young man,
He'd like to call himself.
You look down.
By his feet with a ball.
And he thought.
Oh no.
Oh gosh.
All right.
I'll just channel my inner dog.
Took her.
Walked up over too.
This like,
Oh,
Big,
Big,
Big.
Area that looked like a giant trampoline.
Put his toes on it,
And it was a little bit bouncy,
And he was like,
Well,
That might be fun.
Might be fun.
And then he stood in the corner and this music started.
And when the music started.
Took her,
Instantly kinda channeled.
Something.
Because the music.
Made him think of all of these times that he'd been rehearsing.
Flashbacks of different things you did with this ball.
And he sighed.
Oh,
Gosh.
I might actually be able to do this.
The music got to the point at the beginning where he was right there.
And he knew he had to start.
Started running.
He did like a really cool forward roll and then bounced on his feet and jumped up,
Threw the ball up in the air and then caught it,
But then the ball kind of,
He did this weird thing where he didn't catch it with his hands,
He caught it with his shoulder and it kind of rolled,
He like caught it and it rolled down his arm and then he rolled it back up his arm and then like head-butted it up and rolled it over and down the other arm and back up and he was like,
Oh my gosh,
Really good?
And he did this whole performance.
Cherry was sat there like this.
Heidi's glasses were halfway down her nose and she was peering over them like this.
She couldn't believe it!
Veyasad.
Oh my!
Tucker's amazing!
When he finished,
Everyone cheered.
Like it was the best thing they'd ever,
Ever seen.
Cherry was like.
.
.
Whipped cheese?
Chocolates and maize balls?
Then the coach came over to Cherry and said,
You're up next,
Cherry.
Cherry had one of those ribbony things on a stick next to her and she was so excited!
Oh and Jay!
All of my dreams have come true!
All the crowd were kind of muffled and calmed down after Tucker and then.
.
.
She walked up onto the stage part and then she stood there and then the music started.
Fist.
There was nothing but a slow whatever the words are It was the flash dance music.
Cherry was out there doing rolls on the ground and not doing very much,
Just being dramatic like fire.
Do do do do do do And then.
.
.
It started to go really fast.
Disbelieving Cherry started running really fast,
She did a roly-poly,
Jumped up in the air,
Spinning them,
Staying around.
Unfortunately.
Cherry didn't get any flashbacks about practicing.
Cherry!
Just went for it.
There was no routine.
There was no expertise.
Nothing that showed that Cherry knew what the heck she was doing.
But she was having the bestest fun,
She kept tripping over the ribbon and then she got Bleh,
I'm a pancake.
And she laughed and she rolled and she twisted it and she did like a snakey thing with it for ages as if she forgot that she was performing.
But she was obsessed with this ribbon and what it could do.
So cool!
Look at it!
So cool!
She's saying to the crowd.
Oh,
Well,
Luckily for Cherry.
.
.
This crowd loved her.
And they were clapping and she kept like papping her hands together,
Clapping.
Watch this!
And all she was doing was like shaking the ribbon around her head but everybody was cheering like she was a mistake to be there like she was some kind of clown performance but everybody in the audience were all like clapping at the same time and they were all shouting Cherry!
Cherry!
Cherry!
Leo took her inside.
It sounds like England in the crowd.
England!
While they were watching soccer.
England!
Woo!
Woo!
Woo!
England!
Tucker said,
I can't believe that everybody thinks she's amazing.
After my performance?
She's getting really loud cheers,
I don't get it.
Leo shook his head and said,
Well,
That's cherry for you.
It was finally done.
And the coach came up to Heidi.
And Heidi.
Looked up from her book and said,
Oh,
Is it my turn?
Heidi.
Was just no ball,
No ribbons.
Yes,
He said,
It's your turn.
Go do your performance.
And she looked at Aveyr and said,
This is going to be horrible.
She took a book with her.
Heidi decided to start in the middle of the stage.
She placed a book down on the ground.
Everybody went super quiet.
Maybe the book is kind of like a prop.
People were thinking.
It's part of her performance.
A man.
Heidi.
Felt this kind of tingle in her body when the music started.
Just like took her.
And she got all of these ideas in her head.
She started on the ground as if she was reading a book laid on her belly,
Swinging her legs around.
Like some young girl in her bedroom reading a book on her bed.
But then when the music started.
.
.
She put the book down and she took off her glasses as if to say,
I mean business.
And then.
.
.
Oh my gosh,
She did the performance of a life!
You know that one that they were watching in the beginning that could jump and do like twists in the air and then land?
She's doing all that kind of stuff.
Whatever those moves were called.
She did one thing at one point and she ran from the corner of the floor.
And then she started doing backflips and she did like four of them in a row.
And then stood up perfectly and the crowd cheered.
Cherry was like,
That's my sister!
Shouting at the top of their lungs.
Has she already ever read books?
Via Giggled.
It was amazing.
Heidi was absolutely amazing.
And then she did this thing where she just kind of stood and jumped and flew herself backwards.
Landed in a crab.
And then pretended that she was reading a book upside down and it was so cute and everybody was like,
Yeah!
The coach started walking up to Tucker and took her.
Again.
And then he stopped in front of Leo and Leo looked up and went Oh no,
No.
No,
Can Rhea go next?
The coach said,
No,
Come on,
Leo,
You can do it.
You're up next.
Leo wasn't getting any flashes.
What do I do?
He just walked up and stood there in the middle.
I don't know.
I don't know what to do.
We started getting our arms sweaty.
His hands were shaking.
Oh gosh,
This is awful.
And then Leo put his hand up and said,
Can I go to the bathroom?
And somebody on the side said,
Yes,
You can.
Who's next?
The Leo said,
Phew.
And he went to go potty.
Leo decided to stay in the bathrooms.
Nobody would find him.
That's what he was hoping.
And it was Faye's turn.
And there you had a ribbon and it was silver and all sparkly and it matched the silver bits in her white leotard.
Oh my,
It's my turn!
Veya's music was classical.
Like da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da-da,
Da-da She was so graceful.
She didn't have any memories of anything,
But she just happened to look really pretty.
And the crowd seemed to like everything that she did.
They couldn't find Leo.
You know why they couldn't find Leo?
Leo found a window in the bathroom and he hopped it and he was out of there.
Gymnastics is not for Leo.
But when it came to the scoring.
Guess who,
Guess who got the most scores?
That's all I have.
You know it.
Cherry the Clown.
I know,
I know.
I know,
I know.
I always knew that I was a gymnast.
I always knew it.
I just knew.
I could tell.
You know how everybody's always saying.
Do gymnastics!
Do one!
Go on!
Do gymnastics!
Do gymnastics!
You'll be so good!
You'll be so good!
And I'm like,
I know!
I know!
But do I want to commit?
You know,
Do I want to spend all my time practicing and all this stuff when I've got so many other things I'm good at?
I mean,
Like.
.
.
You know oh gosh it's so hard being so good oh and then Vea said oh like that and Heidi hit Cherry with a book on her shoulder.
All right,
That's enough,
Heidi said.
Cherry smiled.
I know,
I know.
Must be hard to listen to.
Tucker said,
I was so much better than you.
I don't get it.
And you know Leo,
Leo would have beat you.
Everybody howled.
Laughing at the same time because Leo was probably 10 miles away already.
Tucker even had to laugh at that one because he knew there was no way.
Leo,
Would it be anybody?
In fact,
Tucker was surprised that Leo didn't pee his shorts on the performance thing.
Hmm.
Leo.
Lesson.
We love him though,
Don't we?
You know,
Before long.
Tucker and Leo.
We're back on the big,
Soft,
Comfortable dog bed.
And Heidi,
Cherry and Vaja.
The cats.
At God Home.
Leo was almost asleep.
And took us out.
Where did you go?
Where did you go,
Leo?
Wow!
And why?
Leo just looked at him for a second like this.
And then closed his eyes and went to sleep.
And took her.
Laid there for a while thinking about how his performance was so much better than Cherry's.
And then eventually.
He fell fast asleep.
The End.
