So thank you so much for joining this morning,
Or this evening,
This afternoon.
Whatever the time is for you.
Let's meditate together.
Make sure that you settle in and close your eyes.
Shut out the rest of the world.
Change your breath.
Your normal pattern of breathing.
So as always,
You know,
If you follow my meditations,
You'll know that we always start with the breath.
Breath is boss.
Breath is the ruler.
Sometimes conscious,
But always subconsciously.
Breath is boss.
So if you can take a moment to just manipulate the breath within you.
Bring it to a calm.
Slower pace.
Breathe in through your nose and maybe for a few breaths.
Take a deep release and breathe out through your mouth.
Go back eventually to breathing in and out through your nose.
See if you can start to follow the loop.
The wave of your breath.
Feel it.
Ask it.
Rises as you breathe in and then feel the wave fall and drop and recede as you breathe out.
Constant motion.
Just like your heartbeat.
Just like the ocean.
Fall into the rhythm.
The rise and the fall.
See if you can allow yourself to just relax into it.
Shut out all the persistent.
Voices and noises and thoughts in your mind.
In your environment.
Close down so if there's noise around you.
Just let it fade.
Let it be part of something that's outside of yourself.
Follow the wave of the rise.
In the fall.
That will help you to start to become more peaceful and relaxed.
As we move.
Deeper into the journey of your meditation.
Check in with different parts of your body,
Make sure that there's no tension.
So soften your shoulders,
Relax your jaw.
Relax your tummy.
They're the three main places.
Make everything soft and pliable.
That way you're open.
So that you can receive.
And then what I'd like you to do.
Is imagine in your mind that you're standing outside.
There's nothing.
Important.
Around you.
Just focus down on the ground.
Notice your feet.
And if you can,
Create in your mind that you're just standing on.
Hard dirt like it's just a boring did flaw.
No grass,
No flowers,
No nothing interesting.
And then as you look up,
All you really see is just this dirt floor for miles,
As if it was the desert.
And up in the sky there's this average normal looking sky.
All of these things purposefully set in your visualization because they're not what we're interested in today.
What we're interested in today is for you to just kind of start to allow.
A giant.
Brick wall.
There in front of you to form.
Brick by brick.
Watch it in your mind.
They could be small.
Red bricks,
They could be big,
Chunky.
Homemade kind of bricks that you would find in a quarry.
Just let your mind play.
But the end result is that you have this giant.
.
.
Brick wall that you cannot see over.
In you.
If you look to the left and the right,
You can see where it ends,
But you can't really see around it.
Big enough for you to just Basically,
All you can focus on is this big brick wall in front of you.
I'd like you to settle in and get comfortable.
So if you need to imagine in your mind that you're taking a seat on the ground.
On this solid,
Hard,
Kind of dusty,
Dirt path,
Dirt surface beneath you.
And I'd like you to contemplate.
The wall.
This is a wall.
In this meditation.
In this metaphor.
This is a wall that you've created with your mind.
As a defense mechanism.
Between you and me.
Life.
This wall.
That you have created.
That.
Right now you can sit and look at.
Most of the time is completely invisible to your sight.
It's like a barrier between you and me.
Life.
And this barrier is being created through your life experiences.
It's been created through past events and traumas.
This wall is being created through beliefs.
Just look at the wall.
So know that you're on hands.
Through your mind.
Created this divide and it was created from the ego perspective to keep you safe.
Now just pause for a second.
In real life.
People are fixing the roof where I live and they just arrived and they might start making noise.
But this is good practice for you.
Just ignore the noise in the background.
If it starts to take place.
Stay focused in your visualization for me.
So going back in.
Know that the wall is what you have created with your mind.
But know also that you can start to.
Pull apart the wall.
And you can pull it apart with every realization.
That you have.
During this meditation.
Parts of it will start to crumble.
And break down.
So the first realization that you're going to have as you sit and you look at your wall that you created,
This defense mechanism to keep you safe,
That is under the title of Control.
Boundaries.
Routine and specific behaviors that you have,
All with the illusion that this wall.
Protects you.
But the first realization I want you to sit and just think about is that the wall is something that can be attacked.
From the other side.
The wall is something that can be broken down.
The wall is something that actually attracts.
Things from the other side that makes them think,
Oh,
What's behind that?
I need to get beyond it.
It creates a sense of.
.
.
Secrecy.
This is all subconscious.
But everything beyond.
Involved in life beyond this wall of yours.
Is intrigued by it and wants to get around and in.
Also,
Because there's a wall there.
You think the wall absorbs all the blows.
All the attacks It prevents things.
But really all that's happening is.
.
.
It's taking away your own self-belief that you can handle what's beyond it.
If you take away the wall.
If you allow in your mind for it to crumble and fall.
And beyond it is life.
And.
.
.
You trust that you can handle.
All the different paths that life can take you.
There's nothing to.
.
.
Hide behind.
There's nothing to give you a false sense of safety or security.
It's just you.
And life.
And the more it's just you and life.
And you take the tumbles of what life brings and you take the hits and the falls and the rolls.
The bigger,
And wiser.
And stronger and more capable.
You start to become.
And as you start to become more capable,
Is less and less need.
For a pretend wall to keep you safe.
Just think about this.
This is the next realization.
We're led to believe that we need to protect.
Ourselves.
And with that simple belief it creates fear.
It creates a feeling that We are fragile.
And therefore need protection.
But really,
In all truth,
What you are is a creation that is here on Earth.
To experience.
Life.
All the good,
And the bad and the ugly.
Is here.
To be of service.
The bad,
The things that are painful,
The things that hurt us,
The things that wound us.
When you look at them from a higher perspective or not.
They are unpleasant experiences,
But within them,
There is growth.
Just as much growth as positive experiences.
It's just us human beings prefer to feel pleasure.
Them pain.
So we're led to believe that everything that is hard and troublesome and painful.
Is bad.
But in truth it's just a different form of learning.
And behind that wall of yours,
You're not gonna learn anything.
Other than.
Fear.
Fear to go around it fear to go on the other side of it,
Fear that without it you're incapable.
It's an illusion.
You're a human being and you're going to have good days and bad days.
The whole point of this journey is to become self-aware.
And the more self-aware you are,
The more you will realize that This too will pass.
And within that mindset there is light.
This light.
See if you can,
If you haven't done so already.
Take away the wall.
You can smash it,
You can.
.
.
Blow it up,
You can take it down.
Whatever you need to do,
But see it as gone.
Recognize that you're a human being and within that there is humility,
And there will be good and there will be bad and there will be very very uncomfortable and they will be very,
Very sweet,
Pleasurable moments in life.
But if you have your own back and you trust.
Then it's all within the Divine's path for you.
I trust in the path of.
Divine.
I trust in the path of divine.
Don't hide behind your wall.
Don't hide behind control.
Just trust yourself.
I'm going to count to three.
And when I do,
You can open your eyes and come back into your reality.
Maybe with just a little bit of a different mindset.
One.
2.
3 Opening your eyes,
Coming back into the group.
Back into this space.
Namaste,
My friends.
