Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Lie down in your bed and get really comfortable,

Try not to wiggle too much,

See if you can relax your muscles,

Let your bones get super super heavy and hopefully,

Eventually,

You'll end up falling fast asleep.

Tucker and Leo had gone to a petting zoo with their bestest friends Annabelle and Cora.

The petting zoo was part of the local zoo.

It was a different section that you could go to.

It had two goats,

One sheep,

It had three bunny rabbits,

A guinea pig,

There was also a pot-bellied pig in there and a very cute looking chinchilla.

Tucker had found that he'd got a lot in common with the goats,

He'd been talking to them for ages.

The names were Billy and Bob.

Billy and Bob also liked to eat everything,

The same as Tucker.

Tucker said,

Oh,

You know,

It's so refreshing,

So nice to finally meet someone that understands and appreciates the value of eating absolutely anything and everything.

Anything that I eat,

I thoroughly enjoy most of the time.

What about you two?

Billy said,

Oh,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Anything.

I even like sucking on human hair.

Oh,

Said Tucker,

I don't think I've ever actually tried that.

But my mummy does wash her hair in some lovely shampoos and they smell so nice.

And when she lays with me and I sniff her head,

Yeah,

I can see it.

I can see her.

I can see the feeling and the need for actually chewing on mummy's hair.

I bet it tastes really lovely.

Bob said,

Have you ever eaten trousers?

Tucker thought about it.

No,

Definitely not.

Definitely not.

While Tucker was making friends with Billy and Bob,

Leo was in one of the corners,

Just sat waiting for it all to be over.

Annabelle and Cora kept going and checking on him.

Cora said,

Come on,

Leo,

These animals are really friendly.

Leo said,

Yes,

Well,

I know,

But you know,

I don't really feel it.

I'm totally OK with being here,

Really wanted to spend the day with you guys,

But I really don't want to involve myself in all the other animals.

Of course,

Some of the animals totally sense this.

You know,

Like when you meet a cat and you want to be friends with a cat and then the cat's like,

No,

No,

Don't like you.

But then if you're one of those people that don't like cats,

The cats seem to want to be all over you.

It was kind of like that with the bunny rabbits.

The bunny rabbits would not leave Leo alone.

It was because he was kind of calm and just sat there and he wasn't trying to pet them or pick them up or tickle their ears or anything.

In fact,

He looked quite disgusted in the whole situation.

And for some reason,

The bunny rabbits were drawn to him like magnets.

They kept bouncing all around him.

One of the bunny rabbits was very brave.

He was called Cookie.

I think he was called Cookie because he looked like an Oreo cookie.

He was black and white,

Like,

You know,

An Oreo cookie.

But Cookie was climbing on his back,

Was trying to tug on his ears.

Leo kept just shaking his head and saying,

No,

Thank you.

Maybe you should just go over there,

You lot.

Just just just go over there.

Cookie said,

Oh,

No,

No,

No,

No.

You're so nice and warm and comfortable.

Leo said,

Well,

You know,

Yes,

I probably am,

But I'm not a couch and you'd probably be better over there.

Go over there.

Go go talk to those kids or go talk to Tucker.

Tucker will like you.

Cookie said,

Oh,

No,

No,

No,

No,

No.

I'm staying right here.

You're very warm and comfortable.

For some reason,

This bunny rabbit,

Cookie,

Really liked Leo.

Eventually,

The other bunny rabbits just kind of bounced off and got bored and went and did other things,

But Cookie would not leave him alone.

Tucker came over at one point and sniffed at Cookie's bum.

Cookie turned around and said,

Excuse me.

Tucker said,

Oh,

Hello,

Bunny rabbit.

What's your name?

Leo said,

It's called Cookie.

Very unimpressed with the whole thing.

Cookie,

Oh,

Hello,

Cookie.

Do you want to play,

Cookie?

Tucker started to pounce around as if he was trying to play with the rabbit.

The rabbit did not want anything to do with Tucker.

Tucker said to Leo,

What's wrong with Cookie?

Why won't Cookie play with me?

Leo said,

I have no idea.

For some reason,

Cookie thinks I'm a couch and he just wants to stay here.

And I know I'm going to get an allergic reaction any minute soon.

I don't even know if I can be around bunny rabbits.

Well,

You seem to be OK right now,

Leo.

And obviously,

Cookie likes you for a reason.

Maybe Cookie can see and feel your kind,

Kind warm heart.

Tucker started laughing.

He could see how much pain Leo was in just having to do this.

Really didn't want to.

Annabelle came over and said,

Cookie,

Cookie,

Would you like to come with me?

Cookie looked at Leo and said,

Oh,

No,

No,

No.

I'm staying right here.

Leo grimaced,

Pulled the most horrific face as if to say,

Oh,

Gosh.

This is horrible.

And he just slumped his head down on the ground.

Cookie took this as an invitation to go and put himself right next to Leo's head,

Snuggling to his neck.

Leo looked even more in pain.

Can someone help me get this bunny rabbit away?

At that moment,

A group of kids came in through the door.

Cookie looked up as if he was very interested.

And then he looked at Leo and then he said,

This is it.

This is my chance.

Cookie bounded across the petting zoo.

And ran through the door while it was still open.

He escaped from the petting zoo.

Leo instantly jumped onto his feet and shouted Tucker.

Tucker came running over.

He thought maybe Leo was at the end of his tether and he needed to get out of there like now.

What is it?

What is it,

Leo?

Is it Cookie?

Where is Cookie?

Leo looked at Tucker and said,

Cookie's just done a runner.

He ran out the door.

Oh,

No,

Said Tucker.

This is absolutely awful.

What are we going to do?

Tucker and Leo ran over to Annabelle and Cora.

Annabelle and Cora were playing with the chinchilla.

It was adorable.

We have to go.

There's an emergency.

One of the rabbits just run for it,

Said Leo.

Oh,

Come on,

Girls.

Come on.

We're on a mission.

We have to save that running rabbit.

Run,

Rabbit.

Run,

Rabbit.

Run,

Run,

Run.

It's running.

It's running.

We have to go save it.

Annabelle and Cora,

Tucker and Leo ran out of the petting zoo.

They ran into the bigger part of the zoo.

At first,

They couldn't see Cookie anywhere.

But then they spotted Cookie over by what looked like a little restaurant,

Cafe type thing.

There was loads of people sat around,

Eating ice creams and drinking cold drinks.

And they were at picnic tables.

Cookie was right there under one of the picnic tables by somebody's feet.

Leo said,

We have to be very careful because if we run over,

I bet you any money Cookie's going to run off.

Tucker said,

What do we do?

What do we do?

By now,

Tucker was very excited.

He was chasing his tail because he just didn't know what to do with himself.

He was so excited.

Annabelle said,

Well,

Since Cookie likes you so much,

Maybe you should slowly walk over there,

Leo,

And just kind of talk to Cookie and say,

Cookie,

You can't escape.

How are you going to survive out here on your own?

Good point.

Good point,

Said Leo.

Leo,

Very stealthily,

Very carefully,

Started to walk over there,

Taking his time,

Being really quiet until he got really close to Cookie.

Cookie looked up as if he could smell Leo or something.

His little bunny nose started sniffing.

Oh,

Hello,

Cookie said.

Leo said,

Oh,

Hi,

Cookie.

I don't think what you're doing is a very good idea.

Have you thought this through?

Have you seen all the ice cream over here?

I'll be fine,

Leo said.

No,

No,

Cookie,

You won't.

You need a balanced diet.

You need bunny rabbit food and hay and carrots and things like that,

And they don't have that here at this cafe.

Bunny looked around and sniffed.

He sniffed lemonade.

He sniffed French fries.

He sniffed lots of ice cream.

Bunny said,

Oh,

I don't actually smell carrots.

No,

I don't.

You're right.

I do like my carrots,

Leo said.

What were you thinking?

What's your plan?

Where are you going to live?

Who's going to take care of you?

Cookie looked a little bit concerned.

I just wanted to be free.

I just wanted to get out here in the big,

Wide,

Open world.

I wanted to run as fast as I could,

Further than that little petting zoo area.

I wanted to make new friends.

Leo said,

Yeah,

But there's other things out here,

Cookie.

There's hawks that could possibly swoop down and get you.

There's unfriendly animals,

Like maybe dogs that are hungry,

Or maybe even people that want to have rabbit stew.

They do that,

You know,

Sometimes.

Cookie gulped.

What?

You mean they don't all want to pet me?

Leo said,

Well,

Out here in the big world,

Some people eat rabbits.

They have rabbit stew.

What?

Said Cookie,

And gulped again.

Cookie's eyes got really big.

What am I going to do?

I don't want to be a rabbit stew.

I just wanted to be free and run.

Leo said,

Well,

If you want,

I can help you get back to the petting zoo and you can just run in circles.

Tucker likes to run in circles.

Tucker likes to run in circles,

Don't you,

Tucker?

Tucker got the cue and started running around,

Chasing his tail.

Oh,

It's so much fun.

It's so much fun.

Look at me,

I'm having so much fun.

So much fun over here near the petting zoo.

I had even more fun inside of the petting zoo.

Oh,

I really like carrots.

I really,

Really do like hay and straw.

And I do love rabbit food,

Too.

I like rabbit food.

Rabbit food's very nutritionally dense.

Tucker was just waffling.

He didn't know what to say.

He was trying to think of anything he could possibly say that made the petting zoo sound enticing.

I think actually Leo had figured it out when he told him that he could possibly be rabbit stew.

That was the part where Cookie the rabbit was like,

OK,

Get me back home.

Leo said,

I understand you wanting to be free and everything,

Cookie,

But this is not the way.

How about you just climb on my back and I take you back over there?

You've got friends over there.

You've got it cushy over there.

You get fed.

You get petted lots.

You get talked to by lots of animals and lots of kids.

And,

Yeah,

I mean,

It's a great life in there.

Cookie looked at Leo and said,

You didn't like it in there.

Leo said,

Well,

I'm a kind of a sensitive dog.

And,

Yeah,

I didn't.

But that doesn't mean you have to not like it in there.

Come on,

Climb on my back.

Let's go.

Let's go back home.

Cookie took a minute to think about it and then he jumped onto Leo's back and Leo walked him back to the petting zoo and back through the door and back inside to where it was safe.

Tucker said,

No rabbit stew in here.

Nobody's going to cook you in here and make you into a nice,

Delicious stew.

Cookie swallowed hard and gulped again at the thought of it.

No,

That's right,

I suppose,

He said.

And then he hopped off and went over to where the other rabbits were and started chewing on a pile of hay that was there just for them.

Leo sat down,

All relieved.

Oh,

Annabelle and Cora came over to Leo and gave him lots of pets and told him he was really good.

Good boy,

They said.

Good boy,

Leo.

Wow,

That was intense.

Leo looked a little bit sweaty,

A little bit overwhelmed.

He looked at the girls and said,

I think I'd like to go home.

Tucker said,

If we're going home,

Then I need to go and say my goodbyes to Billy and Bob.

I won't be two minutes.

Tucker went over to say goodbye to the goats.

And then when he came back,

Annabelle and Cora and Leo and Tucker went home.

When Leo and Tucker got all the way home,

They slumped down on their big,

Comfortable dog bed,

Relieved.

It was a little bit of a stressful day,

Wasn't it,

Leo?

Leo said,

Yeah,

Yeah.

He laid his head down on the bed and closed his eyes,

As if he just wanted it all to be over.

Tucker lay closer to him and laid his head near his paws.

And eventually,

Tucker closed his eyes.

And both of them fell fast asleep.

Luckily,

Neither of them were dreaming about running rabbits,

Trying to escape.

Thank goodness.
