Are you ready to meditate with Cori?
Climb into bed and make sure that you're super,
Super comfortable.
And that way,
You can lay down and relax.
I'll be telling you a story about Heidi,
Cherry,
And Vea.
Sasha,
Poe,
Tucker,
Leo,
And D'Angelo.
Get ready.
Everybody was hanging out at Tucker's house.
It was early morning and they'd all come over to talk about something very,
Very important.
Children.
All of the animals love kids.
They had lots of friends that were kids.
They loved going to school to visit kids that were their friends.
They loved going to the park.
They loved hanging out with kids and just being friends and being close to kids.
Because kids are the best.
And Tucker wanted to know what it was like to have his own babies.
They were all talking about it,
Sat around the kitchen island.
OMG,
I think it'd be horrible.
Horrible,
Absolutely horrible,
Said Cherry.
I pay too much attention to myself to be worried about kids.
I mean,
I love kids.
I've got so many friends that are kids.
I mean,
I've got so many girlfriends,
So many boyfriends.
I love them all.
I love to play soccer with my friends.
I love to skydive with my friends.
I love to go to the mall with my friends.
I love to do sports with my friends.
I love to skateboard.
Heidi said,
We get the message.
Heidi said,
I love kids too.
And Faye said,
Me too.
I love them so much.
They're so funny.
I would like children.
I would like lots and lots of little girls.
Mr.
Kitty said,
Hmm,
I like boys.
Vaya said,
Hmm,
I suppose I could have some princesses as well as princesses.
And she smiled at Mr.
Kitty.
Sasha said,
You know,
I don't know whether I want kids.
Would I want kids?
Leo said,
I think I'd be allergic to kids.
I think they'd give me stress balls and hives.
And I think all my fur would fall out.
Tucker said,
Yeah,
But if you had kids,
You wouldn't have fur.
Because you'd be human.
Which reminds me,
I think we should do it.
Tucker went outside onto the back garden.
And he dug up his magical stone.
His magical stone that he always buried next to the Buddha statue.
He dug it and dug it and dug it and dug it and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and kept digging and digging and digging and digging and,
You know,
All of that stuff.
It seemed to be a lot deeper than it normally was.
And he was a little bit worried at first that he wasn't going to find it.
But he found it.
He brushed off all the dirt and held it up to the bright morning sun.
His white opaque stone shone in the sunlight.
And the golden veins appeared in the stone.
And then his angel appeared.
She was there with her wings.
Just looking all beautiful in the sky.
And she looked down at him and said,
You get one wish.
Just one wish.
Tucker said,
I want to be human,
Please.
Humans are the best.
Along with all of my friends.
And just like that,
For some reason,
This time,
Tucker sneezed.
He sneezed four times.
Achoo!
Achoo!
Achoo!
And then,
Achoo!
His nose was so itchy.
And on the last sneeze,
He opened his eyes and found himself in one of those indoor jump places.
You know where they're all like trampolines?
Like a jump house.
They were all trampolines.
There were ropes over the trampolines.
There was one of those slidey things.
What are they called?
You know,
Like a zip line.
There was a zip line over the bouncy,
Chunky ball areas.
You guys know what I'm talking about.
One of those bounce places where it's all trampolines,
Basically.
They were in there.
Tucker looked to his left and he noticed Heidi sat with Po.
They were middle-aged.
They got on a tweed skirt and she was wearing a blouse with flat loafers,
Penny loafers,
That were burgundy.
And she had a little clip on her hair,
Just to the side like that.
And her hair had been bobbed off into a little bob.
And Heidi looked about maybe 30,
Something like that.
And Po was dressed in tweed.
And he had like tweedish brown trousers on and a waistcoat with a t-shirt underneath.
They looked very much like a couple.
Like a middle-aged,
Cute,
Kind of square couple.
Heidi shouted,
Sammy!
Sammy,
Be careful!
That's really high!
Tucker looked over at a child,
A boy.
He looked about six.
He had glasses on,
Just like Heidi's.
He was called Sammy.
It was Heidi and Po's son.
Okay,
Mommy!
He shouted.
So cute,
Thought Tucker.
And then he looked over to his right and he was holding hands with Cherry.
Cherry was sat there with a white t-shirt and jeans.
He looked down at his own clothes.
He was very casual in corky pants and a grey t-shirt.
Cherry and his own body were about the same age as Heidi and Po.
And Cherry shouted,
Cherry shouted,
Billy!
Po,
Be careful!
Tucker instantly found his two boys playing on the zipline.
Spotted them a mile away.
Bright red hair,
Both of them.
His black hair jean had not got through at all.
And they were both the spittin' image of Cherry.
Super cute.
They looked about five and seven.
And then Vea was on the other side of the bench with D'Angelo.
And Vea and D'Angelo had two girls,
Paula and Lily.
D'Angelo was over pushing Paula down the zipline.
Vea was sat on the bench.
Vea shouted,
You guys look so good!
Keep doing it,
Honey!
You're doing so good!
She shouted to Lily and Paula who were hanging out with their dad on the zipline.
And then Leo and Sasha.
Leo and Sasha.
And Lola.
Lola was only three.
And she was sat on Sasha's knee.
She didn't want to bounce.
I don't feel like it,
Mommy.
I don't want to do it right now.
Sasha said,
It's okay,
Honey.
You can watch.
Leo said,
Oh,
She's just like me.
She was.
Lola was just like Leo.
She looked like Leo.
She acted like Leo.
She was timid,
Quiet,
Soft and sensitive.
Just like Leo.
And Sasha loved them both very,
Very much.
Tucker sneezed again three more times.
I think I'm allergic to this place.
Cherry said,
It's probably all the stinky feet from the kids.
Tucker said,
There is a lot of stinky feet in here.
Cherry started laughing.
It's pretty gross,
Really,
If you think about it.
Vea said,
Well,
It's worth it.
They're having fun.
So how have you guys been?
Tucker wrapped his arm around Cherry and said,
We're doing good,
Thanks.
How about you?
Oh,
Wow,
Said Vea.
We're busy,
But we're happy.
Aren't we,
D'Angelo?
D'Angelo grabbed a hold of Vea's face and kissed her all over it.
Always happy with you,
Honey,
He said.
Sasha and Leo watched and smiled.
And Heidi and Poe,
They said,
Oh,
By the way,
And then Heidi said,
Yes,
By the way,
The play that we writ and we directed and everything is finally finished.
And in three months time,
It's going to be showing at the theatre downtown.
Poe looked very proud.
Yes,
Honey,
Yeah,
We finished it,
He said to all his friends.
Heidi was very proud.
Heidi and Poe had written a play together.
It was their second play.
They were actually really well known.
They'd even had one of their plays on Broadway.
They were a really sweet couple.
They were very happy together and very much alike.
And they never got bored of each other.
And they definitely,
Definitely didn't get bored now that they had the kids.
Wow,
Sammy.
Sammy,
Billy,
Poe,
Paula,
Lily and Lola,
All of the kids,
All got along.
It was like they were growing up with each other,
Just like Heidi,
Cherry and Bea and Tucker and Leo and Sasha and Poe had spent all their years together.
It was really sweet to watch the kids.
Until Lola sat on Sasha,
Said,
I think,
I think I just messed up.
And then Sasha felt it warm and wet on her leg.
And Leo said,
It's OK,
Honey.
Let's take you to the bathroom and go get you cleaned up.
OK,
Daddy.
She reached up her hand and he held over her hand and walked her slowly to the bathroom with the bag over his shoulder to take care of little Lola and her accident.
The rest of the kids were just having a whale of a time.
Way too much fun.
They all loved each other.
Tucker said,
I like having kids.
I like being middle aged.
And I like being friends with you guys still.
And Cherry said,
I like that you're my husband.
And I love you,
Tucker.
And Tucker smiled at her and said,
Love you,
Sugar.
And Cherry melted.
When they all eventually,
Somehow,
Very magically,
Turned back into cats and dogs,
They found themselves sat around the kitchen island once again,
As if they'd just blipped into the future,
Seeing themselves all together,
All married,
With children,
As couples.
Now,
It was very awkward.
Cherry was looking at Tucker and Tucker was looking at Cherry as if to say,
Wow,
We get married and we have kids.
Heidi and Poe weren't surprised.
Vea looked at D'Angelo and,
Well,
Mr.
Kitty and gave him big kisses on his cheeks.
And it felt like they'd already been married for years.
And Sasha and Leo looked very embarrassed at each other.
And they blushed and got all shy.
Sasha was going back to Mexico tomorrow.
She'd only been in town for three days.
But Leo had very much enjoyed it.
He always enjoys when Sasha's next door and he can talk to her through the fence on the back garden,
Just be near her and smell her and bark and play and do all the things that they do when she's in town.
But they looked at each other as if to say,
Wow,
We're actually in love when we get married.
It's kind of cute.
Tucker did his normal Tucker.
Right then,
Well,
I think it's probably time for you guys to go because me and Leo's got a date with the garden.
We need to go and pee,
Don't we,
Leo?
They were very much dogs once again.
And Cherry said,
Oh,
And gee,
Tucker,
You're so gross.
And then she smiled at him.
And then they went home.
The end.
Bye,
Guys.
Now go to sleep or else.
Bye.
