Are you ready to meditate with Kari?
Make sure that you're comfortable whether you're laying down in bed or you're snuggling on the couch.
Whatever you're doing,
Try and slow everything down so that you can relax your body and let go of your busy day.
Tucker and Leo were over at Ashley's house.
They were visiting their friend Ashley.
She was this awesome cute little girl.
And the cool thing about Ashley was she had a very cool cat called Max.
Max was friends with Heidi,
Cherry and Veya but Leo and Tucker had not met Max yet.
Ashley was sat on the couch with Bunny.
Bunny was a very soft stuffed teddy.
She had a pink nose and pink ears.
She was light brown.
She was friends with Max the cat.
She liked to play at wrestling with Ashley.
She was a very independent girl,
Very independent woman.
And she was super strong.
I mean like physically strong.
So Bunny,
The stuffed teddy,
Was very stylish and the cutest thing was she loved to sleep with Ashley at night.
But so did Teddy the cat.
Tucker was very excited about meeting a new cat.
But at the same time he was a little bit nervous.
Leo and Tucker were stood at the front door waiting for someone to come and let them in Ashley's house.
The doorbell rang and Tucker looked at Leo and said,
I always love meeting new friends and new people.
It's so exciting.
And you know it makes the world so much more interesting Leo.
You know if you'd have stayed home,
Which I know you wanted to,
Just laying on your bed not being bothered by anybody,
Then you would have never met Ashley's cat.
And apparently Max is supposed to be a very interesting cat.
He likes to meow a lot and at first apparently he seems a little bit annoyed.
I am,
What,
Cherry told me that Max can look a little bit miserable actually,
Like a little bit serious.
But I was like,
Oh don't you worry Cherry,
I think Max will really like me and Leo.
Leo said,
Well that's all good and well,
Tucker,
But what if we don't like Max?
And I'm not really into,
You know,
Kids.
Kids are nice and all,
But they're loud and they tend to be annoying.
And I really don't like,
You know,
When they're playing around you and banging and making lots of noises.
It makes me very nervous.
Tucker said,
Ashley's not that small.
She's quite a big kid,
You know,
She's really big.
But you'll be worrying that she's tiny and she's just going to be like a little baby,
Grabbing at you and poking at you.
Because she isn't,
She's a big girl.
And you know,
Like I said,
Even though Max looks very miserable,
Cherry said to me,
She goes like this,
She went,
Tucker,
Don't you worry.
Once Max meets you and he knows what you like and he like gets to know you and everything,
You'll be like,
Wow,
This dog's so cool.
Tucker said.
So,
You know,
That's what Cherry said and I like Cherry.
I believe Cherry.
I think Cherry wouldn't lie to us.
And apparently,
Apparently Max likes to sleep sometimes in a dollhouse.
I mean,
That's kind of cool,
Don't you think?
He likes to sleep in Ashley's dollhouse and Ashley's like,
I don't know,
She really likes Max.
So apparently Max should be nice.
The door opened.
Ashley was at the door.
She got Bunny in one hand and Max was stood behind her.
Tucker said.
Oh,
This is the bit where I get really nervous because I like to eat cats sometimes.
But you know,
I'm not going to,
I'm not going to,
Even though they're like little perfect size snacks.
I'm like,
I've been so good at not eating Heidi,
Cherry and Veya.
Even though Veya is so cute,
She's so white and fluffily,
She looks like a marshmallow.
And I'm like,
Oh,
That marshmallow looks so tasty right now.
I could just eat it.
And then,
Oh,
Look at Max.
Look at Max,
Leo.
He's like the same colors as Heidi.
He's all gray and fluffy and stripy.
You look like Heidi.
You look like our friend,
Heidi.
Max meowed really loudly and didn't seem to be interested in anything Tucker was saying.
In fact,
Max looked quite bored at the fact that Tucker and Leo were at his front door and he just walked away,
Climbed on the couch and looked like he was going to take a nap.
Leo said,
Well,
That wasn't very friendly.
Tucker said,
Don't you worry,
Leo.
Apparently Max likes to sleep a lot.
He's a bit like,
You know,
A sleepy cat.
So that's okay.
We can still play with Ashley and we can still play with Bunny.
Apparently Bunny's really strong and she can pick us up.
I bet any money that Bunny can pick me up.
You know,
Like when you weight train and you lay on your back and you do like body lifting,
Whatever it is.
And then she's going to do that with me,
I bet.
Ashley,
Said Tucker,
Do you think Bunny can pick me and Leo up?
Ashley said,
I bet she can.
She's really strong,
You know,
She's like the strongest woman I know.
See Leo,
See,
Ashley thinks she can pick us up.
The dogs came into Ashley's house.
They went out onto the back garden and they played with bubbles,
Ashley booed bubbles and Leo didn't play at all.
Just kind of sat on the side and looked around and he was trying to decide if the plants that were on Ashley's back garden were something that he could possibly be allergic to because if he's allergic,
Then he would get hives.
And then if he got hives,
He would have to go home.
And when he got home,
He would have to have an antihistamine and then the antihistamine would make him very sleepy and so on and so on and so on.
So he was very busy in his own head trying to figure out his layout right now,
The surroundings.
Whereas Tucker was like a mad,
Crazy,
Rabid dog,
Chasing bubbles all over.
And Ashley was creating some really big,
Enormous bubbles.
Tucker was in heaven.
This is the best Ashley,
This is the best.
How did you know I like bubbles?
I love playing with bubbles.
It reminds me of when I were a tiny puppy.
When I were a tiny puppy,
You know,
Sometimes my very first owner,
Because I was like,
I was one of those puppies that was left on the street,
You know,
Ashley.
It was a very sad tale.
It was a very sad tale.
I was born right.
And then my first owner had kids and those kids would play with bubbles sometimes and I would chase the bubbles.
But I was only a tiny little puppy and I would chase and I would jump and I would yelp and I would bark and I would do all sorts of fun stuff.
It reminds me of just the one or two very nice times before they left me on the street.
Ashley said.
They left you on the street?
Yeah,
They didn't want me anymore.
So I had to fend for myself on the street and I was a very hungry puppy.
And some of the things I had to eat,
Ashley,
I think that's why I like to eat cats.
All like little people.
No,
I don't eat little people.
No,
I'm only kidding,
Ashley.
But I do like to lick little people because they always taste so delicious.
They taste like cream soda.
You know,
Don't you ever notice?
Have you ever licked yourself,
Ashley?
Lick your arm right now and see what it tastes like.
I bet you taste a little bit salty and a little bit sweet and I bet you smell really nice like marshmallows and ice cream and cream soda all mixed together.
Those are some of my favourite things.
That's why I always have a hard time not eating veal because veal looks like a marshmallow,
Doesn't she?
But what I was saying was,
Oh,
Ashley,
I ate some terrible things on the street.
And then sometimes,
You know,
It's like I'm back there again and I have nightmares and I'm like,
Oh,
And my little paws are going really fast while I'm sleeping.
And then Leo will wake me up and he'll say,
It's OK,
Tucker,
You're OK.
You're safe now.
You've got this home and you've got mum and dad that love you and you've got everyone around you that loves you.
There's no need to be frightened.
And then I remember where I am and I think,
Oh,
I'm so grateful.
I'm so grateful that somebody picked me up off the side of the road and took me to the pound and then my mum and dad found me at the pound.
And then and then Jenna and Isabelle found me and they were like,
Oh,
Look at this doggy.
This doggy looks so cute.
And then when they got me home,
They realised I was a bit of a monster.
Actually,
When I was a puppy,
I was so naughty.
I would eat shoes.
I would eat carpet.
I would eat table legs.
I was so bad.
Leo was a very nice puppy.
He was very gentle.
But he would do this thing where he would run around and he would do this crazy thing where he would run on the sofa and then back on the sofa and then run across the sofa and bounce off the side of the sofa and then run back on the side of the sofa and run back.
It was like he was a dog gone crazy.
But I didn't do that.
No,
I just like to chew everything.
And I was always naughty.
And because I was naughty,
I ended up with the name Tucker.
I don't know why.
But anyway,
So I must look like a Tucker.
So then I was like,
Thank goodness,
Thank goodness.
I turned out to be a lot calmer when I got older,
But I have some PTSD.
That's when like things happen to you when you're in the past and it can be traumatic.
Traumatic things can happen to you and then you get PTSD,
You know.
That's what the psychologists call it.
And then what happens is when you've got PTSD,
You get yourself in certain situations where,
Oh,
It all comes coming back,
All the trauma.
They've been living on the streets.
And then when that happens in my dreams,
I get so frightened.
But the PTSD also makes me want to still eat puppies or like little cats or maybe like,
You know,
Anything small really.
Oh,
But you know what?
You know what,
Ashley?
My mum and dad have chickens and I don't try and eat the chickens.
You think that's strange?
Ashley was blowing bubbles,
Jumping all over the back garden with Bonnie in her hands,
Listening to Tucker,
But not really paying attention because Tucker was going on for quite some time about his past and his PTSD.
Tucker looked over at Leo and Leo had already fallen to sleep.
He was lazing in the sun.
It was a lovely day and Ashley had a very nice back garden.
After Leo realised that he wasn't really allergic to any of the plants,
He let himself relax a little bit and he got snuggled down on a piece of soft grass and he was very happy,
Snoring away.
Ashley said that she felt very bad that Tucker was a puppy that was left on the street,
But it was very good that he got found and that the pound had him and that the pound didn't just like,
You know,
Keep him there forever or even worse,
Have to get rid of him somehow.
Because that's what happens sometimes if they have dogs too long or cats too long,
Which is very,
Very sad.
Tucker said,
I know Ashley,
I'm so lucky.
Look at me now.
I'm on this back garden with you and we're playing with our bubbles.
And later on,
After we have a little snack,
Not like a cat snack.
You know what my favourite snack would be?
Kit cats.
Do you get it Ashley?
Do you get it?
No.
After we've had a little snack and maybe,
Maybe a little refreshing drink,
Then maybe you can show me how strong Bunny really is because you keep bragging about how strong this Bunny is and I've not seen her lift up anything yet.
All she's doing is snuggling into you and looking very,
Very happy.
This Bunny needs to prove how strong she is.
We need to do some wrestling or something or maybe like a little bit of weight training,
Like I said earlier.
They had the snacks.
They had the refreshing drinks.
And then Ashley showed Tucker how strong Bunny was.
Believe it or not,
Without going into too much detail,
Bunny the stuffy was like the strongest stuffy Tucker had ever seen.
Leo slept through it all.
And then when it was time to go home,
Leo and Tucker said their goodbyes.
Max,
The friendly cat but not so friendly cat,
Was just asleep the whole time.
Tucker said,
Bye Max,
Maybe next time we'll get to play with each other or maybe not.
Tucker said as he looked at Max's face that looked a little bit grumpy and unhappy.
I don't think I'd want to eat that cat.
Tucker said on his way out of the house,
I think it might be a little bit spiky and not very nice.
It's a bit spiky,
Isn't it,
That cat?
Leo started laughing and the dogs walked home.
When they got home,
They settled down on the dog bed.
Tucker told Leo all about the Bunny and how strong she was and the things that they did while he was asleep.
Leo was impressed but still he was glad that they left him alone and let him nap.
And then eventually,
Tucker and Leo both fell fast asleep.
The end.
