Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Get yourself all comfortable in your bed.

Make sure that everything is just right in your room.

Turn down the lights.

Make sure that you've got your stuffy or your cuddly animal so that you can relax your body and feel safe and warm in your bed.

Once you've closed down your eyes,

I'd like you to start to use your imagination.

That wonderful part of your mind that can make up stories.

That's also the part of your mind that can imagine things,

See things as if they were right there.

I'd like you to pretend that you're outside in the garden and instead of you being you,

You're actually a tree,

A big,

Tall,

Strong,

Happy looking tree.

And if you focus on your feet now in bed,

Take all of your focus and attention down into your toesies,

Down into your feet.

Just whittle your toes for me and like whittle your feet around a little bit so that you can feel them.

Imagine that these wonderful toesies of yours were like roots in the soil.

You know when you walk barefoot on the dirt or on the grass and you can feel it underneath your feet like that.

But imagine that your feet are the roots of the tree and they're buried deep down into the soil.

And the soil feels all cool to touch,

A little bit wet like it's damp.

Like when you go to the beach and you go in that part of the sand that's near the water and it feels wet and cold underneath your feet.

Imagine that that's what the soil feels like around your roots because you're the tree,

Remember.

And your roots,

Your feet,

Are really deep,

Deep,

Deep down in this soil.

So the rest of you,

The rest of you that's this big,

Tall,

Happy-looking tree is super sturdy and strong.

And when the wind blows,

Even the biggest,

Biggest,

Biggest,

Strongest wind,

It only just blows your branches and your leaves a little bit.

It doesn't move your legs and the trunk part of the tree because it's so grounded and rooted into the soil.

You're super strong.

No wind,

No rain,

No storm is going to make you wobble too much.

But today is a sunny day.

Today is one of those days where you push up your arms to the sky,

But really your arms are the branches.

And you stretch them and reach them as high as you can up into the sky as if you're trying to grab the sun from the sky.

And you get so tall and so long.

And you can feel this in your body as you lay down in bed.

It feels like you're so,

So tall that your head is in the sky.

But remember,

Your head are the tallest branches of the tree.

And you have hundreds and thousands of leaves all over your branches.

And there's a slight breeze in the air,

Just a gentle wind that makes all your leaves rustle and sing.

And it's like you're singing a song to the world as a tree.

The wind picks up a little bit and starts to move just some of your tiniest branches,

Swaying them in all different directions.

And it feels really nice,

It feels as if you're dancing with your arms up in the air and your body's starting to kind of sway a little bit left to right to the music.

And you're reaching higher and higher,

Trying to grab a hold of that bright,

Warm sun up in the sky.

But at the same time,

You can feel your feet,

Your roots,

Deep,

Deep down in that cold earth.

And your toes are like roots that are holding on really tight,

Like little monkey toes.

The wind starts to pick up a little bit more,

It gets louder.

And as the wind gets louder,

Your leaves get louder.

You sing even stronger.

And a few more of your branches start to sway in the wind.

The thicker ones are being pulled left and right and back.

And it feels super relaxing.

Your whole body is enjoying the sensation of the wind,

Twisting and twirling around your trunk,

Your leaves,

Your branches.

And still,

That big,

Big,

Bright golden sun shines down on you from up above.

And you seem to get taller,

Reaching even higher,

Growing towards the sun.

A big white cloud comes up in the sky,

Then a big gray cloud comes up in the sky.

And then an even darker gray cloud covers the sun,

And the air around you gets cooler.

The wind slows down and then completely stops.

Everything is still and quiet.

Your whole tree is shaded by the big gray cloud,

And the cool air all around you feels refreshing.

It feels like you're being dipped in cool water on a really hot day.

And you appreciate the sensation of the coolness.

And even though there's no sun,

You keep growing and you keep reaching higher and higher,

But your feet,

Your roots are still stuck deep into that damp earth that's keeping you strong and sturdy and rooted to the ground.

The cloud seems to shift and change and it starts to rain.

At first,

It's just little drops of water here and there.

And then there's more,

And then more.

And before you know it,

You're being rained upon.

The leaves start to make wonderful sounds,

Pitter-patter sounds as the water lands on your leaves.

It's like listening to hundreds of tiny little drums.

It sends a shiver all the way down your trunk.

And you reach your arms,

Which is your branches.

You reach them out even further and wider all around you so that you can catch this wonderful water that's coming from the clouds.

It feels refreshing,

Renewing,

As if all of your troubles are being washed away.

The tallest part of you,

The tallest branches in the sky,

Seem to look up towards the rain and you allow the rain to fall down onto what would be the top of your head and your face and your shoulders.

And it feels so nice.

You feel like the rain is bringing life and energy into your body.

Like it's watering you.

You're literally being watered from the sky.

And you realize that when you get watered,

It makes you feel full of new energy.

And you can reach even higher and grow even taller.

Your whole body gets so,

So long.

You feel like you're in the happiest place ever.

You've got the earth beneath your roots.

The rain is falling down on all of your branches,

Feeding you this wonderful,

Happy,

Vibrant energy.

And then just as quickly as it came,

The rain slows down to the odd drop here and there.

And the grey cloud passes.

And the sun shines its golden light back down all over you once again.

You can feel the sun drying off your body.

And the contrast between the cool,

Fresh rain and this warm,

Cozy sun feels really nice.

It feels nice enough to start to make you feel as if you could go to sleep.

Just relax in the sun.

Some of your branches get a little bit heavy.

Your arms feel as if they're tired.

And then some more branches feel heavy and tired.

And then some more branches feel even heavier and even tireder.

Your leaves kind of get heavy and fall as if they're all starting to fall to sleep.

And the entire part of your tree just relaxes completely.

All the way down to the roots in the ground,

Everything feels sleepy and tired and relaxed.

You feel warm and safe and comfortable.

The birds are singing,

There's butterflies and bees,

Dragonflies.

All the ground around your roots starts to dry out and you can feel the slightest little bit of warmth coming down onto your roots.

And you fall asleep.

And it feels so good to just let yourself sleep.

Your whole body is so cozy and comfy.

So you just sleep.

And you sleep for the longest time.

And you decide that it feels really nice to be a tree.

The end.
