This meditation is designed to be repeated daily, creating a sense of ritual. Ritual is anything we do repetitively. This creates a feeling of structure, and within structure, we can relax and feel secure. Meditation is very simple, made easy, so you can just relax, sit down, and connect each day! My name is Kari.

Let's sit down together and do this morning ritual.

Ritual meaning that we repeat it,

Repeat something each morning so that it becomes repetitive but also familiar and in that familiarity we get a sense of ease and calm safety through the control of the ritual.

Sit in a comfortable seated position.

Make sure that your spine is straight so that any information that is downloaded to you during your meditation can easily channel through your spinal column into the brain and the thinking system.

Relax your hands on your knees or rest them in your lap.

Close down your eyes and start to actively soften different parts of your body.

Relax down your shoulders.

Soften the space around your eyes.

Let your jaw soften.

Relaxing your tongue in your mouth because this is the beginning of your day.

Check in with your entire body just so that you get a sense of how you feel,

What your body feels like this morning.

Feel into your arms,

Your legs.

Pull your attention into your torso,

Your heart.

Become aware of the sensations in your tummy.

Notice if it's relaxed or tense.

Check in with your emotional state today.

Your heart,

Your mind.

Feel into your emotional state.

Do you feel light,

Heavy,

Tired?

What's your overall sense of where you're at this morning?

And once you've done an analysis of all of that it's time to set an intention on your day.

Purposefully starting to take longer,

Slower,

Deeper breaths.

Bringing in some new fresh oxygen.

The intention of your exhale is to release and let go of any stagnant energy in your body.

Breathing in the new,

Releasing the old.

Feel as if you're doing an intentional sweeping,

Cleansing of your emotional body,

Your physical body,

And your mindset.

Just by breathing in nice,

Long,

Slow,

Deep breaths.

Nothing complicated is required of you this morning.

When you feel like you've done about 10 to 15 breaths,

Then see in your mind that your intention is complete and successful.

You brought in some new fresh energy into your body with your breath and you've let go of all of the stagnant energy from your previous night.

Ready to start your new day.

Namaste,

My friend.
