Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Make sure that you're very,

Very comfortable in your bed.

Try and stay still and quiet as you listen to the meditation story so that your body can calm down and get sleepy and comfortable.

Heidi,

Cherry and Vea were babysitting.

They were babysitting Zoe,

One of their bestest friends,

Who was six,

And Zach,

The little brother,

Who was two.

The cats were very excited since it was the other way around and they were being babysitters,

Not being babysat.

So they felt very grown up and very,

Very,

Very,

Very excited to be with Zoe and Zach.

Cherry had everything planned.

She thought that they could watch TV and possibly eat popcorn and then have a bath and get all warm and comfortable and ready for bed and then have maybe a nighttime story and it would all go perfectly.

Heidi had been doing research on how you babysit.

Make sure that the children are safe at all times,

She said.

Make sure that you're watching the children at all times.

Make sure that nothing could be in the vicinity of the children that they could possibly choke on or cut themselves with.

She'd done lots and lots of safety research and she was ready and prepared for anything that came into the situation.

Vea had bought extra dress-up clothes.

She wanted to play dress-up with the kids.

She thought Zoe would really like that and you never know,

Maybe Zach would like that too and who doesn't want to be a princess after all?

That's what she thought.

Cherry said,

Now Vea,

You just be careful because,

You know,

Not everybody wants to be a princess.

I know you think that they do and I know that you think that the whole world,

Like everybody in the world,

Like every single person,

Every single animal,

Every single rock,

Every single plant,

Everybody wants to be a princess.

But,

You know,

You might be surprised to know and find out that that's not actually the case,

Vea.

Sometimes people would rather be like doctors or they'd rather be like veterinarians or maybe they want to be like superstars like me.

You know,

Princesses is okay but it's a bit boring sometimes,

Vea.

I mean,

What does a princess do except spin around and say la la la la la la?

Vea said,

Oh,

Me thinks being a princess is much more complex than that,

Cherry.

Cherry said,

Well,

Yeah,

It probably is,

Vea,

But all we see you do is spin around in your pretty dresses and say la la la la la la.

Well,

What about skydiving?

Can you do that in a princess dress?

Don't think so,

Said Vea.

What about surfing in absolutely tremendously huge,

Huge,

Huge,

Not huge,

Huge waves?

Can you do that in a princess dress?

No,

You can't,

Can you?

What about scuba diving?

Diving deep down in the ocean and finding like very special rare corals?

Can you do that in a princess dress,

Vea?

No,

No,

You can't,

Can you,

Zach?

Zach,

Like I said,

Was two,

Just looked at Vea and said,

No,

You can't,

Vea.

Good job,

Zach,

Said Cherry.

You're my little friend.

Me and you,

We're gonna be besties,

Right?

We're gonna be so good friends.

You know what,

Zach?

You know what?

I made popcorn.

Can you eat popcorn?

Let's me and you go sit on the sofa.

Zoe,

Can your baby brother eat popcorn?

Zoe said,

Yes,

He can.

Oh,

Good,

Because my,

My,

My idea is we're gonna sit down,

Zach.

We're gonna watch a movie.

We'll let,

We'll let Zoe play with princesses with Vea for a little bit and then me and you are gonna sit down and we're gonna watch this action movie and,

And,

And we're gonna watch,

Have you seen The Incredibles?

We're gonna watch The Incredibles and I'm gonna pretend that you're like Dash,

The baby,

And you can like turn into fire and zoom all over the house.

Does that sound fun,

Zach?

Zach said,

Yeah,

That sounds fun.

See,

I knew it.

I knew we were gonna be besties friends,

Me and you,

And then while we eat his popcorn,

You'll be careful eating your popcorn,

Right,

Heidi?

Heidi said,

Yes.

While he's eating his popcorn,

I will stand by with a sippy cup of juice and we'll make sure that he is safely chewing each piece of popcorn because I read that popcorn can be very chokeable.

Yeah,

I knew it.

I knew that.

So,

Like,

Eat your popcorn properly.

Eat like this.

Chew,

Chew,

Chew,

Chew.

Zach,

Chew it like me,

Look.

Cherry was doing chewy faces,

Making sure that she chewed her popcorn extremely well and thoroughly.

Really thorough,

Jack.

Really thorough chewing before you try and swallow it because we don't want you choking like I almost did then.

I think I nearly did choke.

In fact,

I was trying to talk with the popcorn kernel in my mouth and when I went like that,

It sucked it to the back of my throat and it made me cough and then,

And then look what happens,

You see.

Zach,

It's so easy and that could be that.

You could be choking and then we'd have to do,

Uh,

What's it called,

Heidi?

Um,

CPR,

Heidi said.

Yeah,

That stuff.

CPR.

Uh,

C stands for caretaking.

P stands for because they might be choking and an R stands for be really,

Really quick.

So,

CPR.

Yeah,

We have to do that and then,

And then we have to press on your chest and we have to bash and bash and bash and bash and bash your chest and then breathe into your little Zach,

Zach two-year-old mouth and then maybe I'd have to stick my paw all the way down your throat and,

And grab hold of the piece of popcorn kernel that's choking you.

I don't really want to do that.

Do you want to do that,

Heidi?

Heidi said,

Um,

No,

Not really.

If we can avoid it,

I'd like to just keep Zach safe,

Please.

Make sure he chews his popcorn properly and has a drink in between each mouthful to wash it down correctly without making him choke.

Yes,

Yes,

That's what we're gonna do,

Heidi.

That's what we're gonna do.

That's me.

I'm the bestest babysitter.

I'm watching him.

Every single morsel,

I'm watching him.

Right.

Cherry and Zach sat down and ate popcorn and drank juice and watched some TV programs.

He wasn't really interested in watching a full movie.

They watched little bits of The Incredibles,

The bestest parts,

But then he got bored really quickly and wanted to get up and go do something else.

And Cherry was not happy with that.

She wanted him to stay still and just do exactly what she said.

But two-year-olds very rarely do that.

So she was having a bit of a trouble and she got her paws full trying to take care of Zach.

Vea was doing such a good job playing princess with Zoe.

Zoe was such a sweet,

Kind,

Loving,

Fun little girl.

And Vea was having the whale of a time playing dress up and doing princess things.

They were brushing each other's hair.

They also played princess chase,

Which means you have to chase a princess around the house and then when you catch them,

They have to chase you around the house.

And that went on for quite some time.

In the meantime,

Heidi just read book after book after book on how to be the best babysitter in the entire world and how to keep children safe while you're babysitting.

She was so prepared that she really missed out on what it is like when you babysit because she wasn't even participating.

She was too busy reading her books,

Getting ready to participate in the babysitting experience.

They were having a really fun night.

And then it came to bath time.

Cherry was already pooped.

She'd been chasing Zach everywhere,

All over the house.

He had Play-Doh stuck in his hair.

He had slime all over his t-shirt and his shorts.

He was a mess.

But they had so much fun.

It was bath time.

Bath time.

Come on,

Guys.

Come on,

Guys.

This is my favorite time.

I love bath time.

I love bath time because I like to pretend I'm a mermaid.

I also like to pretend that I'm deep sea diving,

Like a scuba diver,

Because that's also awesome.

And I also like to pretend that I'm Santa Claus because I like to put the bubbles all over my head and all over my nose and all over my chin and all over my cheeks.

And so it looks like a big giant beard.

Let me do that for you right now,

Kiddos.

Cherry put bubbles all over her face and she looked just like a Santa Claus cat.

And Zach thought that was hilarious.

And so did Zoe.

Bath time went very well.

It was time to get pajamas on.

Comfortable,

Soft,

Warm pajamas.

They jumped into bed.

And Heidi took everyone in,

Including Cherry and Vea,

Because they were absolutely pooped.

Right,

Said Heidi.

Time for a story.

Once upon a time,

Said Heidi,

There was a little girl called Zoe and a little boy,

A brother called Zach.

Zoe and Zach smiled at each other because the story was about them.

It's always nice to have a story about you,

Right?

Zoe and Zach lived in the forest,

Far,

Far away from the rest of the world.

They had a tiny little house that was made out of cookies.

Ooh,

Said Zoe.

That sounds really yummy.

Yes,

The cookie house had all different types of cookies.

Chocolate chip cookies,

Gingerbread cookies,

Lemon frosted cookies.

All the different walls were different flavors.

The roof was made of thick,

Double chocolate chip cookies.

They had a chimney that was made from a pipe that was made out of ginger snap.

Everything,

Everything.

All the furniture was made of cookies.

Their bedsheets were made of like a sugar cake cookie.

Everything,

Everything was edible.

Cherry said,

Oh,

That sounds absolutely delicious.

Wouldn't you love to live in a cookie house,

Zach?

Zach said,

Yes,

I would.

Cherry said,

I know,

Me too.

We're such good friends.

Anyway,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Carry on,

Carry on.

It sounds so nice.

Everyone who lived in the cookie house,

Said Heidi,

Was made of cookies too.

What,

Said Cherry.

No way,

No way.

I can't be made a cookie.

I'm made of cat.

Zach said,

I can't be made of cookies.

I'm made of Zach.

Zoe said,

I can't be made of cookies.

I'm made of Zoe.

Faye said,

Me don't,

Doesn't think I can be made of a cookie because my tummy feels like Faye.

Just pretend,

Said Heidi.

Everyone in the cookie house was made of cookies,

Cherry said.

I want to be like a custard cream.

I like custard creams.

I had one one time when I went to England.

It's a really nice,

Nice cookie,

But they don't call cookies in England,

Cookies.

Guess what they call them,

Zach?

Zach said,

Big cookies.

No,

No,

Zach,

They don't call them cookies in England.

They call them biscuits.

Everybody has biscuits and a cup of tea in England.

And yeah,

Anyway,

Yeah,

So I'm going to be a custard cream and,

And,

And you could be a jammy dodger.

Zach liked the idea of that.

And then he said,

What's,

What's a jammy dodger?

A jammy dodger,

Said Cherry,

Is a biscuit that's like a vanilla,

Like crumbly,

It's like a crumbly vanilla biscuit.

And then it has a jam center in it.

And it's like a jam ring.

Well,

It's a biscuit ring.

It's very hard to describe,

But you're,

You could be definitely like a jam center like that.

Yeah.

Like a jam,

Jam in England is like jelly in,

Uh,

In America.

Like you call it jelly.

Um,

That stuff that you put on your toast,

But it's not called jelly in England.

It's called jam.

You have jam on toast.

Yeah.

Anyway,

I know so much about England because I'm so like,

You know,

I just do know.

In fact,

I think I know so much about England because Corrie's English and she's from England and she like lets us know all sorts of cool stuff about England all the time.

And so yeah,

Anyway,

Sorry,

Heidi.

Sorry about that.

Carry on.

Heidi carried on telling the story.

The story lasted for quite a long time.

Zach fell asleep first.

Then Cherry,

Because she was absolutely really,

Really,

Really,

Really,

Really,

Really tired.

Babysitting was hard work,

Especially when in around after a two year old.

So he fell asleep,

Snuggled in to Vea.

Everything was good in the world.

Everybody was safe.

Heidi had done a very good job at keeping all safe.

And then eventually Heidi fell fast asleep too.

And they all slept and slept and slept.

And they all slept and slept and slept and slept and slept and slept and slept and slept and slept.

I just wanted to know, does cherry have adhd? I have a friend with adhd and cherry seems to display very similar behaviour in the way she acts and speaks.

I wouldn’t want to live in a cookie house because it would get all soggy and gross. There would also be so many ants everywhere. Also if you’re also a cookie then wouldn’t that be like having a house made of human flesh? Anyway I love your medetations so 5 stars! :)
