Cherry and Vea were over at Akeem's house,
They were playing Lego with him,
They decided they were going to build a whole city,
It was going to take them all day,
But luckily Akeem had got lots of Legos,
Lots and lots and lots of Legos and some building blocks and it was going to be absolutely awesome.
Cherry had drawn a picture,
Here it is,
Here's my picture and I know it's a little bit complexed but I think I'm going to be some kind of architect when I get older,
I've decided that yeah I'm going to build buildings that are absolutely amazing,
Absolutely fan-dabby-dosey and they're going to be so awesome and so different and so inspiring to the rest of the world.
So this is a really good place to start Akeem,
This is a really really good place,

You have to start somewhere right,

I've discussed my project and my plan with Heidi and Heidi thinks it's a very good idea on how we can do the city,
Don't you Heidi?
Heidi said,
Yes I do Cherry,
You've got some amazing ideas and I think where we need to start is the foundation,
You know,
The grounding,
What are we going to use for grounding?
Akeem said,
My mum said we could use this bedding,
It's just a plain sheet,
That way it'll be flatter than the carpet and it'll look like a concrete floor,
You know,
Might be good.
Cherry said,
Oh yeah that'd be perfect,
Great idea,
Can you imagine if we can build a city as big as this sheet,
Is it a single or is it a double or is it a queen or a king,
Can you imagine if it were a king,
If it were a king-sized city,
That'd be so awesome,
Anyway yeah,
Good idea,
Let's start with the foundation,
Let's get all the groundwork done,
We'll do all the paths,
All the buildings,
Where we're going to put them,
Do you think your mum had let us do felt tips on this sheet,

Because is it an old sheet or is it a sheet that she's just going to wash and use again on her bed?
Akeem said,
I think it's an old sheet but I'll check.
He went into the kitchen to talk to his mum.
His mum came in the living room,
She was holding Amelia,
Akeem's baby sister,
She was nine months old and she was super,
Super adorable.

Said Cherry,
Not a baby,
You know I'm not really fond of babies,
I like them but ugh.
Faye nudged Cherry in the ribs and said,

That's not nice.

Said Cherry.
I'm not being rude or anything,
I'm only being honest,
I'm trying to do this new thing where I'm just being very authentic,
I'm not going to lie,
I'm not going to pretend and I'm not going to do things I don't want to do,

I'm not really keen on babies,
I'm not saying I don't like Amelia,
I do,
I think she's very nice,

It's awesome being a big brother,
You get to do lots of fun things and you get to like protect him and play with him and carry him sometimes and look after him and babysit.
Cherry said.
You babysit?
I don't think so Akeem,

Well,
I help my mum,
Akeem said,
I help my mum with Amelia all the time.
Akeem's mum put Amelia down on the ground.
She instantly started to crawl around.
Oh no,
Said Cherry,
How are we supposed to build a city when we've got Amelia in the middle of it?
She's going to be like one of those giant babies crashing down our Lego city,
Can you imagine,
She'll be like,
Like Godzilla or something,
Crashing down all those big buildings in that movie.
Do you remember,

That big giant lizard,
Whatever he is,
Godzilla,
You know what I mean,

Is he a dinosaur?

Anyway,

She's going to be like that,

Heidi said,
She does have really cute feet,
Look at her toes,
They're so cute.
Cherry said,
Yeah,

I'm on a mission,
We've got to get this done,
We've only got all day and you know,
It's very important because it's going against my credentials as an architect,
So I need to like practice,
So do me a favour Akeem,
Get rid of your sis,
Get rid of her,
Get rid of her please,
Can you just like shove her in the cupboard or like,
You know,
Put her in,
Put her in kitchen or something.
Akeem started laughing,
I know what,
I'll get her some of her favourite toys and then she'll play and then she'll be really happy,
Said Akeem.
He brought a box with dolls and teddies and things that she could chew on and she looked very happy with that.
They got to work,
They started to put all the groundwork down,
All of the foundation to the city.
At one point,
Amelia got a little bit close to where they were playing Legos and Amelia was too small for Legos because some of the pieces were too tiny.
Akeem noticed straight away because he was such a good big brother and he ran over and grabbed one of the pieces out of Amelia's little hand.
She could have choked on that,
If she put small toys or small objects in her mouth she could choke on them,
You have to be really careful,
Heidi said.
Okay Akeem,
We'll make sure that we keep all of the Lego out of Amelia's way,
We'll make sure it's nowhere near her,
Good job,
Cherry said.

He's like a super bro,
That's what I'm going to call you Akeem,
Super bro,

You're like a superhero but a super brother,

Protect your sister,
Don't let her choke on that Lego,

Akeem looked a little bit bashful but actually he liked the idea of being a super bro,
A superhero,
So he thought that was pretty cool.
They got stuck in again once they knew Amelia was safe and carried on building the Lego city,
It was coming along really,
Really nicely.
Then at one point,
Veya said,
Where is Amelia going?
What's she doing over there by that plug?
Akeem instantly got focused on his little sister,
He noticed that somebody had took out one of the baby safe plug covers to use the plug and then not put the plug cover back in and that can be dangerous because Amelia might stick her fingers in the plug holes or try and stick something in the plug holes,
You never know because babies don't understand that they're not supposed to do that.
Akeem ran straight over to where his sister was and put the plug cover back on the plug hole so the plug was all baby safe once again.
There he is again,
Said Cherry,
Oh you're such a super bro,
You're like the best super bro in the world.
You know,
I really have seen a different side to you today Akeem,
I thought you were like cool,
Like Akeem,
He's our cool friend that likes to play Lego with us,
You know and build stuff because he's awesome.
But today,
I've seen that you're so sweet and you're so nice and you're so helpful to your mom to look after your sister like this,
It's so good.
And you know what else,
What else?

You could like,
When we finish the city,
You could pretend like to wear some kind of cape or something like that and you could fly from building to building like Spiderman does,
That would be so cool.
Can you imagine?
Well like build it so the buildings are really tall but they're tall enough to get you in between and you can walk through them but really you can pretend that you're flying or like you're like doing a Spidey on them or something.
But you know,
What would a super bro do that's not Spiderman?
Akeem said,
I would blast away danger.
Cherry said,
Oh yeah,
That's an awesome idea.
Oh,
I know what,
We could build a bank and we could pretend that there were some bank robbers and these bank robbers were baddies,
They were real bad and they weren't very nice and they were gonna come and break into the bank and take everybody from Lego City's money.
They were gonna take all the money and all the jewels and all the savings and then super bro comes and he blasts them with his like super bro powers and all the baddies go flying through the streets and flying through the sky and flying over there under the couch.
We can make it really dramatic.
And then,
And then he saves it.
He saves the bank,
He saves the city,
He saves everyone's money because he's super bro.
And then,
And then,
And then to make it look really sweet in the movie.
Oh,
That's it.
We could film a movie.
We could film.
Cherry was on one.
She was getting very,
Very,
Very into this idea.
Now I'm very carried away.
Everybody just stood there and like listened because what else could they do?

Akeem said,
Yeah.
He liked the idea too.
He thought Cherry was awesome and this was a great idea.

So what we'll do,

We'll pretend that you're like super bro and you're coming through Lego City and then,
And then you save the bank and you get the bodies and you blast them away.

And then because you're super bro,
We have to have something in it that's to do with your sister because then it would make sense that you're a bro,

So we'll,

We'll put your sister on a swing in park.
We'll have to make a park.

We'll make a park and we'll put Amelia on a swing and then there's a big gust of wind or something and it's gonna blow Amelia right off and you blast a protective shield around Amelia and she just bounces on the floor like a bouncy ball.
It turns her into a bouncy ball.
Can you imagine?
That would be so awesome if she was a bouncy ball.
Amelia,
I,
I do like you a little bit but I'd like you even more if you were a bouncing baby,
Like a bouncy ball.
That would be really funny.
And then,
And then they listened and listened and listened and built Lego after Lego after Lego and even more Lego.
There was a bank.
There was a park.
There was two restaurants in Lego City.
They made sure to make the buildings tall enough so that when they came to film the movie,
It would look just right.
It would be perfect.
Heidi was the director.
Cherry was the producer.
She was on set.
Cut!
Cut!
She shouted every time she thought Super Bro did something not quite right or he could have blasted the baddies from the bank away much better than he did.
Vea was in costumes.
She made sure that Akeem,
Super Bro,
Had the perfect costume so he looked just right.
They used a curtain around his neck that was pink,
But that was okay.
It's Vea's favorite color.
He had some wellington boots on,
Which were like rain boots,
That made him look a little bit like Peppa Pig,
But that's okay.
And then he had some goggles on from his swim class,
And he looked really cool in those.
He looked very much like a Super Bro.
Vea did a very good job with costumes.
Cherry was very pleased.
Akeem did an awesome job as acting as Super Bro.
Amelia cried a couple of times in the background,
Especially when it came to her nap time.
But they just used the cries as different cries in the movie from scenes where Amelia was being saved by Super Bro,
Especially the one where she started to cry as she flew off the swing,
But then turned into a bouncing baby like a bouncy ball and was totally fine and protected.
They had such a good day.
The city,
When it was done,
Was awesome.
It was the bestest Lego city ever.
And it did take them all day.
By the end of the day,
Everyone was tired.
They were so pooped.
The cats went home.
They got into their big,
Soft,
Comfortable bed.
Snuggled down.
Laid on each other.
And fell to sleep really fast.
And they had the bestest dreams.
