Are you ready to be so still that you look like you're frozen in time and so quiet that you could hear a pin drop on the floor?

Heidi,

Cherry,

And Vea were at their friend's house,

Bo.

Ellery and Hadley were there,

And also their friend Gigi.

Cherry was talking about the fact that Bo's cat,

Honeybee,

Had the coolest name.

Honeybee said,

I would also like to be a bee if I had the chance.

Cherry said,

What do you mean?

Honeybee,

The cat,

Said,

Well,

I just love bees.

I think they're so,

You know,

Brilliant.

Without bees,

You know,

There would probably be no Earth.

Because we rely on bees for the flowers and everything else.

Hmm,

Said Cherry.

That's a really good reason to want to be a bee.

You know,

If I had a really important job,

If I was like one of those animals that was so important,

Like a bee,

Then I think I'd feel very,

Very special.

Honeybee,

The cat,

Said,

Yes,

Exactly.

So I think,

If I could,

And I woke up tomorrow,

I would be a honeybee,

And I would be very good at making honey.

Who doesn't like honey?

Everybody likes honey.

Honey's so sweet and so nice,

And you can have it in your tea.

You can have it on fruit.

You can have it on ice cream.

You can have it in so many different things.

You can make,

Like,

Flavoured honey.

Did you know that?

Did you know that you could have,

Like,

You know,

Like,

Orange zest,

Or maybe flowers,

Or,

Like,

Different flavoured teas,

And you steep it for a long,

Long time,

And then your honey tastes like whatever you steeped it in.

I mean,

That's absolutely amazing.

You know,

Honeybee,

You know what I would think I would do?

If I was an animal that was something different from a cat,

I mean,

Cats are the best.

Cats are so wise,

And so smart,

And so just amazing.

We're,

Like,

So independent,

And we're so free-going,

And we don't need anybody,

And if you just let us play outside,

We would find his own food.

We're very resourceful.

But you know what I would be?

Don't laugh,

But I've always wanted to do this.

Have you ever been to a zoo and seen an octopus?

Not an octopus.

Oh,

Gosh,

Wrong animal.

A hippopotamus.

They sound so similar,

Don't they?

Have you ever been to a zoo and seen a hippopotamus?

They are enormous.

I mean,

Like,

They're gigantic and enormous.

They're so big,

And they're so powerful.

But you know why I like it?

Hippopotamuses,

Hippopotamuses,

You know why I like them so much?

You're never going to guess.

Honey Bee said,

Are they really good swimmers?

Cherry said,

I don't know,

Because when I've seen them at the zoo,

There isn't that much room to swim around,

So I don't know about that.

I would have to do a bit of reading.

I would have to be like my very smart sister,

Heidi,

And sit down and read a book all about hippopotamuses.

But no,

It's not that.

Does anyone else have a guess?

Ellery said,

Is it because they weigh so much?

They do,

Don't they?

Said Cherry.

But yeah,

Hadley said,

Is it because they can eat all the other animals if they want to?

Because they can be very vicious,

You know,

Hippopotamuses.

No,

I'm not that.

I don't think I would be like an angry hippopotamus.

I would be a very happy,

Friendly hippopotamus,

Hadley,

You have to eat.

You know,

A girl has to eat.

So I would imagine I would just have to do what a girl has to do,

Right?

If I was a hippo.

But no,

No,

That's not it.

I'll tell you.

Listen,

There was this one time that I went to the zoo and I was watching this hippopotamus in the water,

Swimming around with its little fat legs.

And I was like,

Oh gosh,

They're so cute.

And then all of a sudden,

This hippopotamus started to poop in the water.

And you know what they do?

They poop and then they wag their tails from side to side so that the poop gets flushed all over the pool.

And it was just like this grassy poop that was flying absolutely everywhere.

It was flying up out of the water.

So funny.

And it was flying from side to side.

It was flying at the bottom of the pool.

It was flying to the other side of the pool.

I was like,

What is this hippo doing?

This is the most impressive poop I've ever seen.

Heidi said,

That's why you'd want to be a hippopotamus.

Because of how they poop.

Yeah,

So impressive.

What would you want to be?

Heidi said,

I would want to be a crow.

I've always loved crows.

They're so big and black and powerful looking.

And they're everywhere,

Have you noticed?

I would like to be a crow.

Because I think crows are very resourceful.

They eat just about anything,

Right?

Bea said,

Mm-mm,

That's so true.

And there is a lot of crows,

Isn't there?

You know what I would like to be?

If I was an animal,

Other than myself,

I would want to be a white tiger.

Can you imagine?

So beautiful.

So,

So fluffy and white.

Kind of like me,

But just so much bigger.

And so powerful.

And just so,

So,

So amazing.

Cherry said,

You know what?

That would really suit you.

And guess what?

Guess what?

Like if you were playing in the snow,

You wouldn't see you,

Would you?

You'd be like this amazing huntress.

Just like hiding in the snow,

Ready to pounce on your prey.

Oh,

Yeah,

That's not like you at all.

But I can so see you being a very powerful white tiger.

What about you,

Ellery?

What would you be?

Ellery said,

Mm,

A fish.

That way I wouldn't have to wear shoes.

I really don't like having to wear shoes.

I like to walk on the grass barefoot.

And fish get to not have any feet.

So they don't have to wear shoes.

Cherry said,

That's genius.

You know,

I really don't like shoes.

I like my feet to be on the ground where I can feel all the things underneath me paws.

I like to feel the grass.

And I like to feel the rocks.

And I like to feel puggles.

Don't you just love when you can feel puggles with your bare feet?

Ellery said,

I'm not sure about puggles.

I don't think I've ever done that barefoot.

You should try it,

Ellery.

It's so amazing.

And it's so nice because all the mud squishes between your toes.

And it just feels so nice and refreshing.

It's lovely.

Hadley,

What would you want to be if you were an animal?

And you were something other than yourself?

If you weren't a girl,

If you were like just an animal,

What would you be?

Hadley said,

A cow.

I like cows.

They eat grass all day.

And they just look like they're so peaceful and so content and so nice.

I don't think you get vicious cows,

Do you?

Vea said,

I'm not sure about that,

Hadley.

Sometimes cows,

I've seen them on videos chasing people.

Hadley said,

Well,

I wouldn't be one of those cows.

I would be a friendly cow.

Beau said,

I would be a dragon.

I'd be a dragon so I could fly.

I've always wanted to fly.

I would love to be a really big dragon.

I'd be a green dragon with like really shiny,

Shimmery scales.

And I'd be able to blow fire like all the way through the forest,

Like past 10 trees if I wanted to.

That's what I would do.

Oh,

I can so see you being a dragon,

Beau.

You would make a really good dragon.

Hadley said,

Rather than just be what we are,

Why don't we,

For the rest of our playtime,

Be the animal that we're going to be,

That we would be if we could?

Vea said,

Ooh,

Me thinks that's such a good idea.

I'm ready to be a white tiger.

Cherry said,

I don't think I've eaten any grass.

You know,

If I'd have had some grass and I'd been eating hay or something like that.

Because I don't know why.

Maybe that's what they feed hippopotamuses in the zoo.

Maybe that's what they do.

They feed them just lots of hay or something.

But yeah,

It just looked like straw poop.

It was like poop,

But straw.

Like chunky,

Chunky poop,

But like straw-like.

Like very,

Very straw-y.

Like a cow would have that kind of poop,

Right,

Hadley?

Because cows just eat lots and lots of grass,

Right?

They just eat veggies.

They just eat grass.

They don't eat,

Like,

Cow.

Or they don't eat,

Like,

Mice.

Or I don't think they do.

Or I don't think they eat,

Like,

You know,

Insects.

I think they just eat grass.

But you know what?

Are they really vegetarian if they eat grass that has an,

Like a ladybug on it or something?

Then would they be going,

Oh no,

I'm not a vegetarian anymore.

Now I'm just like a carnivore because I ate this poor little ladybug.

Would they do that,

Do you think?

Hadley said,

I'm sure if they are eating grass,

Sometimes accidentally they do have insects.

Because insects like grass,

Right?

So it's just an accident.

It's nothing to be stressed about.

Ellery said,

I need a pool.

I need a pool so I can swim.

Heidi said,

Ellery,

You're just going to have to use your imagination.

Pretend,

You know,

You're in a pool.

Gigi,

Heidi said,

We didn't even ask you.

You were so quiet over there.

What animal are you going to be?

Gigi said,

A piggy.

I like piggies because they make the bestest noise.

Cherry said,

You know,

You know,

Gigi,

You're so funny.

And you're so,

That's so true.

You know,

If I was going to be an animal,

Just going off what kinds of sounds they make.

I do like the sound of like a flying hawk or something when it's flying over and it goes,

That kind of noise.

Yeah,

I really like that.

But,

You know,

I think Gigi's right.

You know,

Gigi,

Even though you're kind of small and everything,

You're so smart because piggies have the bestest sound.

I love when piggies are eating and they're just like,

It's so much fun.

I would like to be a piggy.

I think I've changed my mind.

I think it's going to be very,

Very hard to spend the rest of our play date pooping.

Especially when I haven't had any grass.

I need to be a cow so I eat lots of grass and then I need to be a piggy while I'm eating the grass.

I'm going to be a hybrid.

Is that the right word,

Heidi?

When you kind of mix things together?

Heidi said,

Yes,

Cherry,

That's very smart.

Yes,

When you are hybrid,

It means you could be like two animals that have intertwined together,

Like scientifically or something.

I'm a cow and I'm a piggy and I'm going to eat lots of grass and then I'm going to snort a lot,

Honeybee said.

Well,

I'm just going to make buzzing sounds because that's what honeybees do.

They buzz.

Genius,

Said Cherry.

You're so smart too.

You know what?

There's something that we all have in common here.

Have you noticed that we're all absolutely amazing?

And we're so smart.

I mean,

Veya,

White Tiger,

Perfect for you.

Heidi,

Crow,

Very resourceful,

Perfect for you because you are so resourceful because you just suck the knowledge of every book that you read like a sucker and you just suck it up and you just take it all in.

And then what's really amazing,

Heidi,

Is that you seem to remember.

I know when I read a book or I try and do something,

I never remember.

It just seems to go straight through my mind.

Maybe it's because I'm too much of an hippopotamus and all I do is poop.

But that's genius how they spread that poop all over like that though.

So really,

Maybe hippopotamuses are very,

Very smart too.

I'm confused.

There's so many smart animals.

I don't know what I want to be.

The kids,

Honeybee the cat and Heidi,

Cherry and Veya all reenacted their favourite animals for the rest of their playtime.

They had a lot of fun.

I mean,

A lot of fun.

And sometimes they swapped animals.

Like at one point Ellery wasn't a fish anymore.

She was a cow like Hadley and then Hadley wasn't a cow.

She was a piggy like Gigi.

Gigi Piggy wasn't a cow.

She was flying around the garden like she was a crow.

It was the best.

Who would have thought that pretending to be your favourite animal in that moment on that day would have such good fun results when you're playing with your bestest friends?

Who would have thought?

The cats eventually went home.

Ellery and Hadley went home.

Bo was already home.

She decided to snuggle on the couch with Honeybee,

Her cat.

And Gigi went home.

Snorting just like a piggy all the way home.

Wee wee wee wee wee wee all the way home.

The cats showered off and brushed their teeth.

Hopped into their big,

Soft,

Comfortable bed.

And started to chat about the day.

All the good parts.

That maybe if something happened and they felt worried or upset about anything,

They talked about that too.

Just to empty it all out of their minds.

So that their minds were happy and peaceful.

Before they fell fast asleep.

Instead of making a bunch of meds, you could make most Heidi Cherry & Vaya meds 1 or 2 hours long, but you can turn, like 10 different meds into one and pause for 4 or 5 minutes and then get to the other stories.

Here, I'll let you in on somthn. I'm a furry and I'm a bit of everything but mainly a cat because their my favourite animals. Here's a fact for Hiedy. Crows are the smartest birds but you can't have them as pets anymore because people use them as feiths to get money. BTW great story! Love it!

I LOVE IT! if I was an animal I would be a hybrid like Cherry I would be monkey+goat+puppy I would be a monkey because I love to climb and I'm cheeky I would be a goat because I'm noisy and crazy and I would be a puppy because I love puppies! Hippos remind me of my dog because they have the same torso, they both have short legs, short tails, short snout and they eat like pigs! What animal would you be Cory?
