Meditation with Kori Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

Lay down and get super comfortable in your bed Make sure that everything is just right in your room Meditation with Kori So that you can relax your body and let go of your busy busy day Heidi,

Cherry and Vea were down the street playing with their friend their cat friend Harold I say they were playing but really something quite sad was happening over there today Harold was very good friends with the guinea pig the guinea pig that belonged to Tom Tom was the boy that lived in the house Tom was kinda like Harold's best friend and the guinea pig's best friend He played with them the most the guinea pig was called Snookums and Snookums unfortunately had died poor Snookums was gone Tom had had Snookums for a very long time and Snookums just happened to die of natural causes it was time it was time because everything eventually dies and guinea pigs can only live for so long and Tom had looked after Snookums so well Snookums was eight that's very very old for a guinea pig but Harold the cat was very good and he was very good at playing with them but Harold the cat was very sad Snookums was like Harold's best friend Cherry,

Heidi and Veer were all consoling Harold Veer gave him a big hug and said it's okay Harold I understand how you feel me remembers when I well actually no I don't remember because I don't think I've been close to anything that's died before but it's okay I'm sure things will get better don't you worry Heidi said yes this is really unfortunate Harold I'm so sorry is there anything that we can do for you?

Cherry said oh yeah yeah yeah OMG this is so sad I mean I thought we were just coming down the street to play skipping and then look what happens you get here poor Snookums is gone and Harold's so sad I understand that you're sad Harold I understand it I mean I think if I lost someone that I loved or my pet or like my friend or oh my goodness if I lost Heidi or if I lost Veer I don't know what I'd do with myself I'd be beside myself with grief I'd be so sad so sad Heidi said it's normal for animals and people to get sad when something dies that's what we feel because we feel like we're going to miss them forever and ever and it's going to be so hard to not have them around and that makes us feel so sad inside right Harold?

Harold said yes that's the hardest thing the hardest thing is not seeing Snookums every day that's going to be awful Cherry said right yeah right I bet but you know what you know what I once listened to one of these meditations right that Corrie did and it was about I think it was like Pet Heaven it was called or something like that and I was listening and I was like OMG Harold you wouldn't believe it if I told you right now Harold that really nothing ever dies you'd think I was crazy wouldn't you because look poor Snookums she's gone she's gone and you'd be like no but they do Cherry because Snookums is gone and I'd be like yeah I know Harold and then I'd have to explain it to you and I think I can I think I can so this is how it works right and I know you're sad but this should help because when I listened to Corrie's meditation and I was like oh yeah but that's so sad but then I listened and I was like oh yeah that makes total sense so this is what Corrie says right and Corrie's really good at stuff like this because she's done lots of spiritual work and Corrie has done like meditations about when you die and and that nothing ever dies and what she means right is this so yes Snookums is gone and it's so sad because we won't see her every day physically I mean like physically see her we won't be able to like like mess with that tuft of fur that she had on the top of her head that was so cute we won't be able to do that anymore but she's not gone Harold because her spirit her soul is still alive and it's still with us and did you know that your spirit your soul is erm what's that word now?

Not ever well it's everlasting but that's not the word I'm thinking of everlasting evergreen no no that's trees erm erm ever ever er oh gosh Heidi what word am I thinking of?

Do you mean eternal?

Said Heidi yes that's it eternal eternal is a very fancy word of saying that it never dies it means it lives on eternally like it goes on and on and on and on oh excuse me gosh that was hard to say yeah it goes on and on and on and it goes on and on and on that's eternal that's what eternal means right it means it goes on and it lives on forever and that's our souls that's the spirit part of us Harold we have a spirit right that lives inside of us and it's like the core of who we really are and when we die the only thing that dies is the body so Snuckums' cute little body is yes it's erm what's the word when something goes that's expired it's expired right but you can bet that Snuckums is still around she's still here in spirit and I bet you any money she sends us clues I bet you any money she sends us like like erm signs that's it signs from heaven like maybe a little flower pops up and it makes you think of Snuckums and you're like Snuckums is that you?

Are you trying to talk to me?

Or maybe it's like a butterfly or like yeah like a hummingbird or you know another really really big sign that someone's around that's died is like a feather maybe it's like a white feather that's landed in front of you and you're like aww Snuckums there you are look I knew you were still with me I believe it I believe that our souls are eternal and they just go on and on and on and on and so yes Harold it is so sad that Snuckums is not in her body anymore but her body was old and her body was so tired and maybe her body had some kind of illness that we didn't know about and maybe it's best that she's gone to sleep for good like you know because sometimes it's best that people do that or animals do that because maybe they were just maybe it was just her time you know like when you put something in the toaster and then it pops and you go it's done I think it's a bit like that Harold like when your life is over it pops and you go alright that's that it's done and then guess what you know what Corrie said and it made total sense to me because I was like no way Hussie oh yeah that makes total sense she says right that if things don't expire if we don't die and our bodies don't die then how is there going to be room for new babies and new animals and new puppies and new kittens and new guinea pigs how is there going to be room for new people and like new things on the earth everything has to change everything always has to change right so if we never died and we were all here always always always we wouldn't have any room to walk can you imagine the subway it would be packed jam packed full all the time the stores would be full all the time everybody would have like 30 people living in their houses you'd never be able to get into the movie theatre because it would be so packed you'd have to queue for hours and hours and hours to go to the toilet when you went out somewhere because so many people so many billions and trillions and billions and trillions and billions and trillions of people and animals that live on the earth what would we do we wouldn't have enough oxygen would we to breathe so think about it that way everything eventually has to change and some people some things some people some animals have to die they have to because it's like toast the time is up it popped up that's it you're done but you're eternal and you live on and on and on and on Harold said that's a really good way of actually looking at it Cherry I never really thought about it like that this Corey person of yours is so smart Heidi said she is very good we'll send you some meditations and maybe they'll help yes said Harold yes yes that would be very nice if it's okay with everyone I think I'd like to be alone now I'd like to just think about Snookums and all the good times that we had and I'd like to be alone to do that Heidi looked at Cherry and Veya and gave them the nod and then everyone said goodbye to Harold they gave him big hugs and kisses told him that they would be there for him whenever they needed told him that they would be there for him whenever he needed anything just come down the street knock on the door and they'll come out and play and then they left when they got home the cats sat on the back garden and talked about Snookums and how Snookums had passed away and how they were each sad about it in their own way Heidi said I have a good idea let's all share a fun story about Snookums they all sat there and thought about it for a minute and then they each shared a fun cute story Cherry's was about that time when she went over to play with Harold and Snookums was rolled all upon herself and she looked like a furry ball and Cherry started to parrot it and play with it and then Snookums popped open Cherry laughed that much that she peed herself that was hilarious she said so funny Snookums could be so funny poor Snookums gonna miss her so much but not really because I know I believe like Corrie said that Snookums is still right here with us just in a different way just like as if she's wearing a different outfit but she's not gone she's eternal she's right here with us Veya shared her story Heidi shared her fun story and then the cats decided it was time for shower and bed they showered off their day they put on their comfortable pajamas they hopped into bed snuggled on each other really really tight and fell fast asleep The end Thank you for watching!
