This Awesome, Fun Bedtime Story For Kids is about the cats returning to Cat Club. Cherry falls hard for a cat called Gold, who dresses in yellow all the time.

Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Are you ready to get into your bed?

Try and be super still.

Stop whittling around,

Bouncing around,

Running around.

It's time to get still and quiet so that your body can start to relax.

You can let go of your busy day and eventually,

Hopefully fall fast asleep.

Heidi,

Cherry and Veya were at the cat club.

It had been so long,

So long since they've been to the cat club.

The cat club was a place where cats obviously went to like a club.

In the club they had all sorts of different games,

Fun activities.

They had a dance floor with blasting music where you could dance.

They had an outside area now which they didn't have before that had a grassy area where you could play different ball games.

It also had outside games where you could play darts.

You could even play axe throwing,

Axe throwing,

Which was pretty dangerous.

But they got it set up that it was as safe as possible because apparently axe throwing is quite popular and the cat club is very on point when it comes to staying with the times,

Being current,

Giving the cats what they want.

Heidi,

Cherry and Veya were hanging out outside because it was a lovely day.

They'd all got lemonade.

They'd had a really good game of tag.

They were sweaty,

A bit sweaty,

Not too sweaty.

Veya was definitely not very sweaty at all because she only played for like five minutes and then decided she looked way too cute in one of her princess dresses to get gross and sweaty.

Cherry on the other hand was a bit drippy.

She was dripping with sweat and she didn't care.

She just lifted up her OMG t-shirt,

Rubbed her face and then had a big sloppy thirst quenching drink of a lemonade.

She was talking about a cat that looked very interesting,

A cat that she didn't know,

A cat that was a white cat that was wearing all yellow.

At this point the cat was too far away to know whether it was a girl cat or a boy cat but it was kind of standing as if it was a boy cat.

You know how boys stand different from girls sometimes and you can just tell.

This is what Cherry was thinking.

Then she said to Veya and Heidi,

Who is that?

Who is that over there wearing all yellow?

I wonder where they're wearing all yellow?

I mean I know it's not like the end of the world or anything if you wear all the same colour but this cat has got a yellow hat,

Yellow t-shirt,

Yellow trousers,

Yellow sneakers and it's got like yellow string or something around its wrist.

I wonder if it's making some kind of statement.

I can't help it.

I'm gonna have to go over there and introduce myself because you know me,

You know I'm awesome,

You know I'm brave and you know that I am a little bit confident when it comes to making friends because I have so many friends.

I have lots of friends and the easiest way to make friends is to go over to them and say hello my name's Cherry and blah blah blah right.

So I'm gonna go over to this new cat that I don't know because it's not like me to not know a cat at cat club because you know this is our home ground,

This is our territory guys.

We know everyone here almost.

I don't know the yellow cat,

Well the white cat that's wearing yellow and I want to know the white cat that's wearing yellow so I'm going.

Heidi said okay no problem well we'll see you later.

Me and Vea have decided we're going to have a game of pool with Tommy and Chelsea.

They were two other cats that they knew that they'd not seen for a while and Tommy and Chelsea were like a duo when it came to pool games.

They were super good at it.

They were like competition good and Heidi and Vea had been practicing their pool skills and they had decided that it was time that they took them on.

That they tried to win them at pool.

Pool is very complex you know all those balls different colors ones with stripes one not with stripes and it's like who's doing what and how do you hit the ball right with the white ball and oh it's a lot to it.

Cherry wasn't really into pool at all so she said all right then that's fine with me I'll go on my own shall I.

She was a little bit nervous because she was bragging about being so confident and so good at making friends but it's easier sometimes if you've got another friend with you and now she was alone but she braved it.

She swallowed deep took a big deep breath built up some courage and decided to go over to the white cat wearing yellow the mystery cat.

She slinkered away over there all cool she thought if she acted cool and she walked cool then maybe she'd feel cool which does have a good theory to it if you think about it.

You can fake it till you make it kind of theory.

If you don't feel good one day or if you're really nervous about going up to someone and saying hi then you fake it.

You just think oh I'm fine I'm totally good at this be like Cherry oh I'm so good at making friends I'm awesome.

Have that kind of attitude inside even if inside you're like oh OMG I'm so nervous what if they don't like me what if they ignore me what if I look really silly in front of them and I I embarrass myself.

Don't worry about it just fake it till you make it and the more you fake it the more you get used to faking it and then before you know it it feels like you're actually super confident just like Cherry.

But as we know Cherry isn't always that confident this time she was a little bit nervous but she was going to fake it so she was slinkering away over there all cool and calm and like sophisticated and then when she got there in front of the cat that was wearing all yellow she said hello my name's Cherry I am a regular here at cat club and I've noticed that you're new and I don't know who you are and I like to know everyone here at cat club because I have lots of friends and and I'd like you to be my friend if you don't mind about it if you want to be friends that'd be great because um I think you're really cool I was just looking at your yellow outfit I was thinking wow that yellow outfit's so bright and sunshiny so cool and um I like yellow.

The cat wearing yellow just looked Cherry up and down at first and didn't say anything Cherry swallowed.

It's gonna be one of those moments where you get super embarrassed she thought to herself inside but she stayed quiet and just paused and and didn't panic and then the cat wearing yellow said oh that's awesome you love yellow I love yellow yellow is my favorite color hence I'm wearing yellow I have a theory about yellow you know.

Cherry realized the cat wearing yellow was a dude it was a boy cat all the better she thought possible future boyfriend anyway she stifled that thought down because you know not every boy is a possible boyfriend but you never know and then she said oh you do you like yellow do you do you always wear yellow or is it just a day that's yellow you know like Thursdays is yellow Fridays is purple Saturdays is pink whatever you know that that kind of thing is that what you do or do you just like always wear yellow.

The cat said oh my name's Gold by the way.

Gold said Cherry that's your actual name that's your real name.

Gold said yeah it's pretty much why I always wear yellow because my name is Gold right and that's kind of cool and golden yellow you know it's very similar I mean I'm not wearing gold but I'm wearing yellow and I'm thinking you know it's close enough and also yellow right is like the sun and I'm like the sun when I wear yellow and that's my theory my theory is right that when you wear yellow you you you feel happier because yellow is like full of energy it's like you know you can't think of yellow without thinking about the golden sun right and if you think about it the golden sun right is full of energy and it sends energy down to earth and it helps the plants grow and it helps us grow because if we don't have sunlight then we would just fade and die like a weed and like you know we really need the sun so I figured that if I wear yellow then I'm like a walking sunbeam I'm like sun in your face bam Cherry said oh wow that is so cool what a cool idea I never thought of it like that Gold I think you're my new bestest friend you're sparkly and twinkly like a golden sun ray and you're right you know Gold I'm studying with you right and I didn't even realize that I feel really good oh am I?

You're like a magical friend you're like a unicorn in disguise actually Gold do you like unicorns?

Gold said no not really Cherry died a little bit inside everything went quiet for Cherry for a second he doesn't like unicorns she put a big cross at the side of Gold's name in her mind not potential boyfriend material definitely not he doesn't like unicorns but that's okay her and Gold could be a really good friends she carried on talking to him all right well that's okay if you don't like unicorns each to their own that's totally fine but what I'm saying is Gold I think you're on to something I think I might start wearing yellow I think right said Gold I think that if everybody in this club was wearing yellow it would be popping off Cherry loved him she just forgot that she gave him an X because he just said popping off and to her popping off was kind of like a cool thing to say she started getting love arts in her eyes she was feeling really good just looking at him yellow was magical she decided that she was going to wear yellow too because if yellow clothes has this kind of potential then what would yellow clothes on Cherry and her personality do for them?

And her personality do for the world it was kind of amazing the thought of it she thought OMG I'm going to be famous even more famous than I am now if I wear yellow right I'm going to be like a yellow beam of light starlight well no sunlight sunlight I'm going to be a beam of sunlight just like gold I need to change my name Gold she said who named you Gold?

Um I think it was uh my mom he said all cool wow well um I think I would like to be called Shimmer you know like another version of Gold Shimmer I could be called Shimmer right and if I start wearing yellow and and I hang out with you right me and you wearing yellow together such a powerhouse we'll be so good together Gold and Shimmer Gold said yeah sounds sounds cool sounds sounds banging Cherry fell in love even more banging that's a cool word she thought yeah it's banging she said me and you would be banging together I think if me and you right wear yellow the next time we come to cat club and then and I spread the word and I tell all my friends on the street and I tell everyone else and I tell my sisters because I've got some really cool sisters I've got a sister called Veya right she's so cool she's into princesses and I've got and I've got a sister a really cool sister called Heidi Heidi is like the smartest cat you'll ever meet right she wears her glasses upside down because they fit better and and you'll know them because Heidi's gray she's tabby and Veya's white and she's like all fluffy and cute with big blue eyes and she's so adorable Gold said oh she sounds like my type Cherry died inside again oh he has a type she thought a type that's not ginger tabby like me a type that's white and fluffy with blue eyes OMG this is not fair life is not fair ah is what she actually did inside but she didn't show any of it on the outside because she was being cool she was being shimmer oh right okay so you like whites do you right well uh like kind of like blondes I'm not definitely not white I'm definitely ginger do you like gingers gold gold said well how could I not because they're like ginger which is like orange which is like close to yellow which is like fiery gold so yeah gingers gingers are actually my favorite cherry almost died again but in a good way she fluffed up her fur she tried to stand in the sunlight so that her ginger fur shone like gold like fire I'm like fire she said to herself inside oh I'm a fireball that's me sunlight fireball actually I think rather can call myself shimmer I should call myself like fireball or something like sun sunlight fireball what do you think gold gold said yeah that's cool yeah that's that's that's ripping oh cherry had a new name a new word that's cool that made her melt inside the love hearts in her eyes got even bigger I need to introduce you to my sisters because I think my sisters are going to really like you gold and once they hear the theory about wearing yellow all the time well I think they'll be sold cherry a grabbed hold of gold's paw she drug him across the field and inside of the building of cat club where Heidi and Veo were playing pool she drug him all the way over to the pool table and said guys this is gold Heidi could tell just by looking at cherry that they were in trouble cherry looked starstruck like she'd met gold like she just won gold like she struck gold literally gold purred a little bit and smiled and Veo almost dropped her pool cue oh um hello my name's fair she got all swoony and dreamy gold was doing his magic on vea cherry intercepted she stood in front of her sister and said right yeah so anyway this is gold it's really awesome it's really cool and from now on guys everyone wears yellow everyone in the room listen next time you come to cat club you have to wear yellow yellow is the new thing yellow is like the new greatest thing in the entire world everybody wear yellow please please Heidi said oh hi my name's Heidi right so we're all wearing yellow are we and why is this gold said well yellow is kind of like a representation of the sun so when you wear yellow you have like yellow beams of light coming from your personality and they're kind of very resistible and they make everybody really energized and happy because yellow is a super happy color and yeah that's my theory on it Heidi said okay i see that yellow is a good color and it is very bright and it is cheery and very energetic and yeah yellow is is definitely a lively color i see your point good idea okay i might try it i might wear a yellow t-shirt the next time i come to cat club we'll see good great cool awesome ripping said gold cherry's eyes got bigger again and just swooned over him a little bit Heidi said at the end of this game cherry we have to leave we got to go home because mum said we've got to be back for dinner cherry said okay all right all good as she stared at gold mesmerized by his energy eventually the cats went home cherry talked about gold all night veya listened enthusiastically secretly having a bit of a crush on him herself but she didn't say anything cherry had already collected all of the evidence that he was into gingers so she didn't think she had a chance but little did she know that he liked white cats with white fluffy hair and big blue eyes cherry didn't mention that anyway they were all excited about going back to cat club wearing yellow they were going to try out the theory and the next time they went to cat club they did they all wore yellow and a lot of the cats there wore yellow and it was a really awesome time because everybody looked super bright and happy and energetic and awesome and really cool because they were wearing yellow they felt good and everybody danced more and played more and laughed more just because of the yellow but unfortunately gold wasn't there the next couple of times they went to cat club gold wasn't there cherry decided that maybe gold came into her life just for a brief moment and then disappeared as magical as unicorns maybe she'd see him again one day it was like a tragic love story she kind of liked that she kind of liked that but anyway they did learn from gold that yellow is a very happy color and it makes you feel good when you wear it and that was kind of awesome the end You You You

Loved it I used to have a cat named baby cat silly name right? anyway we had to give her to my ant because she peed on every thing and pooped on my brothers bed lol 😂 but that was like 5-6 years ago and I still miss baby cat she’s still alive and healthy tho
