These are affirmations to help us let go of unforgiveness and take back the power that we know that we have.
I admit now that I have not forgiven you.
I have only pushed down the detrimental,
The destructive pain of unforgiveness.
At the moment,
The reasons that I have done this,
Whether consciously or subconsciously,
Is not important.
I no longer want the weight of unforgiveness.
I desire much,
Much more to be free.
I know that I am free to let go and be free.
I believe I am free to let go and be free.
I am free and I choose to let go and be free.
I am free and I am able to surrender and be free.
I have allowed my hurt,
My pain,
And my anger to take the controls,
Take the lead over my unforgiveness.
Again,
The reasons why that may be are not important in this moment.
Forgiveness,
True forgiveness,
Even in the face of more hurt and pain to come,
Is the key that will bring the clarity and vibrancy of my true self,
Compassion.
I have also allowed hate and disgust into my mind and heart.
I have allowed bitterness to grow by justifying my hate and disgust.
I am free to let go of hate and disgust.
I am free to separate myself from any reactions or words that come from you.
I am free from being intimidated by you because you hold no power over me.
Yes,
The words you say are hurtful and hateful,
But they are not true.
I know who I am and I will proudly be who I am in every situation.
I know who I am and I will proudly be who I am in every situation.
I know who I am and I will proudly be who I am in every situation.
Take a couple of deep breaths with me.
Let these words sink in.
And remember,
I know who I am and I will proudly be who I am in every situation.
